You can check your previous payments and compare the paid for impressions with the number of impressions you're required to pay for now based on the past data

Or you simply be using different logic to display and count your ads... which lets me also worry about what might be wrong 😖

Sadly its not precisely explained (Showed with examples, maybe code and all!) how you calculate these values. Thats one big concern for me.

I assume it might very likely be that: Ad campains cummulatively calculate, so when you got multiple tags, they just count together and being displayed to every tag...
Or It might be that you straight count all the page clicks from all sources and add them up there? 😵‍💫

The issue has a big scope to fully understand what worries me here.
It starts at: Tag Impressions listings do not represent any value that the user might expect, nor do the CTR rates match
When you got a Listing with 0 impressions and CTR... and you get some... Then the next time it gets listed it wont represent the actual values properly.
Thus any expected values anyone calculated are just so much off, that they are just not worth looking at.
If it were to be displayed somewhere what others made for values, then that would be enough to base off on your own.

The questioning continues when I paid for a tag with no impressions and no CTR, but I got 1k impressions in like a split second. That doesnt seem logical, does it? especially copared to the values proposed for tag 2? like wtf?

Those values also do NOT update correctly. so i am wondering whats going on in the background...?

In The end I ask myself if impressions are totally dependant on the amount someone spends... and if thats hit, the tag will be taken down and not further calculated... leading to no proper values to be displayed and thus misleading potential customers?

Yes, if an ad is not currently being displayed on the slot, it doesn't count the impressions for estimations on the slot in the future. This is a known bug we've had for a long time. It usually isn't a concern because the largest tags get completely bought out. It is a problem for smaller tags or incorrectly valued smaller tags such as the voting confirmation tag. The voting confirmation tag shows after a person successfully votes, which is our highest viewed page (obviously). however it wasn't working for a period of time, so it wasn't being shown, so the average estimated value of impressions is incorrect

Because thats how the system currently works. If a tag truly gets 0 impressions a week you would want to know that wouldnt you?
