Not really- even if you look through #bids to determine how many impressions they have ahead of you, the rate at which impressions come in is unable to be determined because it fluctuates so much.

but suddenly I got a DM just today that I was charged for extra impressions

All bid was for the same bot. How it can be unknown product then if the active one still shows the name?

How does the system work?

• Each month, bot monthly votes reset (midnight UTC).
• If you get 100 votes on your bot in the month, you can redeem $15 worth of voting credits (note: you can’t redeem till you actually get 101 votes).
• Any vote after 100 will be worth $1 per 1000 votes (or $.001 per 1 vote).

How do I redeem them?

No you should always try and make the Bid CPM as low as possible (this is how much you're willing to spend per 1,000 impressions) and the max budget would be $20 in this case.

$2 @ $20 = 10,000 impressions
$20 @ $20 = 1,000 impressions

The aim isn't to be at the top of the leaderboard but as close to the bottom of the winners as possible (those who are in white and not in grey) for the best value

According to some random site CPC for YouTube ads averages $0.49, so paying $50 cpm here you better get 10% CTR to match it

But it should be cheaper here for a multitude of reasons

For one, the revenue of bots Vs an actual product is about 100x less

CTR in my experience is between 8 - 10% on Top.gg slots. So they're much higher than industry average (Google, Facebook etc.).

The product being advertised has to be taken into account though, I haven't checked but I would hazard a guess that Google adwords on "discord bot" would be $2 or less CPM. Overall it's pretty hard to determine true value of ads on a specific platform or with other factors but I'd say the price on topgg is inflated right now for a lot of tags.

10x less cost cpm means the ctr could be 0.8% and be on level at least on those stats
