#Oblivion: Remastered

I'm not a big shield guy, but I think that other shield is like one of the best in the game from what I remember
Spellbreaker is neat though
You a one handed build?
Shields are useful on all builds as there enhanted effects still applies to you
Oh, yeah, for sure
It's just an ebony shield.
Reflect damage is ok I guess.
It reflects?
Just get amulet of blades or axes or something.
It has a tree on it other then that its just a ebony shield
Besides, I don't really think heavy armour is worth the weight.
Crimson raiment, sword reflecting necklace, chorrol shield
Thats almost 100 reflect
Holy fuck
Both Amber and Madness hit armour cap with respective max armour skills.
Cast a reflection spell, and your good to go
My spellswords are normally breatons and that's allready 50% magic
Magic is 100% more dangerous than melee, even as a Breton.
That's why you get the mundane ring.
Maybe to some people heheh
What.
The only game that's worth being a vampire in is Skyrim, because once again magic immunity.
It's worth being a vampire in skyrim bc vampirelord
Nah, magic immunity is more important.
See... that sounds very boring
Vampire Lord falls off.
But the other perks are nice.
Once you're immune to magic the only downside is 60 to all stats when in sunlight?

I need to play the most efficient, analytical way is sort just not how I see games.
Like, that sorta has... I dunno, lack of personality?
To me, of course.
I've played these games for literal decades.
If it works for you, that is completely fine.
The meta is boring
This is just how it is.
And so have I, lol.
I been playing obilvon for how old is skyrim?
Its just... I dunno.
Don't shock spells drain magic
Skyrim in general is sorta easy as pie.
Not if you have 100% spell absorption.
Which is how you become immune to magic in Skyrim because magic resistance has a cap of 85%.
I meant if you use shock spells to drain the targets magic not yourself
Yes.
You can make dragons unable to shout
But yeah, Vampire + Atronach Stone + Alteration Atronach perk + Restoration Necromage Perk means that dragon breath restores your magicka.
That's it.

I might have to train my illusion to get crossbow recipes though.
And do Companions before Dawnguard.
I haven't played Skyrim in years
How do you get that Link outfit I see people in some times
On the switch verison
Amber and Madness are ugly though, and this is the Fashion Scrolls.
the rremaster atleast made them look better still not the best looking tho
Not in the remaster
Looks cool to me
Yeah, I still find it incredibly ugly.
Well, at least I find Madness unappealing. Amber is decent.
Still way better hen og you gotta admit that tho
I've yet to see the maddness armor in the remake yet, but I deffo rocked it back on the OG
Oh, I bet the shadow sword looks cool af now
“Way better”? Eh.
A moderate improvement, but I do prefer the black lining to the grey lining.
It was neon in the original
Where can I get fuck ton of skooma?
Probably the Skooma Den.
Im gonna use all this skooma for totally legal purposes I swear
any dupe exploits the scroll one got patched
Get a pc
Using console commands disables achievements entirely for your character.
If you have a pc and don’t pirate games I can’t help you
Go to the search bar in the discord server, search “i pirate” and you’ll see how wrong you are
Anyone who admits to doing so immediately gets banned.
This is not a server that condones actions like pirating or game key reselling.
I’m a humble Xbox user so I’m limited by the technology of my time but others aren’t
Let's keep things somewhat on topic. Discussion about whether or not people pirate things isn't exactly Oblivion-related
What if it's the pirates in the harbor
White monk robe or normal one which one do you perfer.
How about a black robe?
I... don't actually know in the remake.
I allwas thought it was but
The remake has a weird greyscale going on, though I don’t completely mind it in some cases.
I need skooma i can't scroll dope anymore
I listen to Creed when playing SM2
This chat went from Oblivion to Black Flag
He's trying to comfort himself.
Quite basic but should lead to me being powerful later on
Proabbly can tell i never maged before
Or i chould go for more of a spellsword im not used to trying mage
@rough smelt this was nice of Bethesda
Yea the pepole in bethsida love skybilvon which is really cool
Even Todd's there lel
Yeah
Is it still a puremage if I carry a shortsword
yes, but only if you enchant it
one must enchant their items to be a wizard.
Your short sword, your long sword, your great sword, your mace, and so on
I plan in the long run to use chillrend but to mostly rely on spells
I never tried this but can essential npcs eat poisoned apples or do they have some coding to prevent them from eating them
Got it
Did I make this spell right
Thats a spell I'd run
I got 100 hours and I haven't started shivering isles but to stop from burn out gonna just make a character to mess around in do glitchs exploits etc
Yeah, I haven't gamed in a couple days. I plan on getting back to Oblivion this weekend
Vozgoth is gonna murder more people and continue to awkwardly deny his vampirism to his fellow Mages.
I'd suggest having your weakness spells separate from your damage spells.
So hit them with a weakness then hit them with your damage spells during the duration.
If I correctly remember how it works only the casts following that initial one will be affected with the weakness.
pretty sure the devolution of the falmer has more to do with Dwemer experimentation. Skyrim just went soft on us so they can keep the T rated for Teen xD
dwemer were brutal
no wonder everyone hates the mer
Skyrim was not rated T for Teen.
Obilvon was rated t once
I still have the DVD to prove it
I too.
Xbox Oblivion is so good we got two disks.
I lost my original 360 release game.
But I got the Xbox One rerelease.
Ironic there's a line in obilvon about children not being added because they'd be annoying and then skyrim added children and there annoying
Oblivion has always been the best entry in the series, even if I dislike some of its LotR related retcons.
I prefer pre-LotR TES lore, but it is what it is.
One thing I've deduced so far is that the actual quests feel a lot more engaging and have quality writing
The dungeons I've been to so far are kind of meh compared to skyrim but maybe I just haven't gone to the cool places yet
I keep going into random caves outside of quests that don't have a lot to offer
Almost 60 hours deep and I think I'm actually starting to get better at lockpicking
Successfully cracked my first very hard lock last night
Nice
Skyrim has better dungeons but I feel obilvon has the better writing aswell
I am a normal human please let me in the Arcane University
This is it. The best Oblivion character.
We can't improve from here.
"You I've seen you"
I... is that Geoff
Who's Geoff?
From achievement hunter
I had to look that up, but yeah it does bear a striking resemblance...
He was sleeping so peacefully, I made it so that he’ll continue to sleep peacefully. Permanently…
I was looking for a good murder victim and then I met this pompous fuck and it was perfect
@odd wolf he killed Geoff
The dude I killed is not the same guy
Not enough tats
This stupid immortal death ball will not leave me alone
I literally have zero magical weapons on hand
I tried running away, didn't work, reloaded a save
Guess I'm not going into THAT ruin again
The fireball spell you start with.
I tried that a few times but this thing has the worst hitbox I have ever seen
I also had silver arrows and somehow I missed almost every shot at point blank
Anyone talked to that one argoigan in leywaiin who brakes into houses and just hides there stuff in the house
Trying a two handed build was a mistake they feel slower in this or am I huffing moom sugar?
Huff more moon sugar to speed things up?
I am getting my ass handed to me by these wraiths on the ship in Anvil…
Fuck you mean I can’t drink more potions at this time?!
Wraiths are deffo aggressive, just remember to dodge those silence curses and swing for those power blows
Balancing potions are more broken then in skyrim
Gonna pretend like I didn't just lower the difficulty to apprentice in order to take care of the two wraiths waiting for me as soon as I spawned into the bottom deck...
I discovered that if I just leave the menu and then go back, I can evade the potions limit lol
The difference in difficulty between apprentice and adept is actually insane lol
Literally one shotted them by lowering it
Adept is sorta intimidating for new players, I suppose yeah. Apprentice really is easy mode.
But, ya know. You do what you gotta. This is your play through.
I started out on apprentice, but thought it was too easy so I went up to adept. Which was pretty balanced at first, but now at level 15, a lot of enemies are starting to become major threats
I used novice mode to kill the goblins at level 1 for chillrend gonna wait to turn in the quest tho for the better sword
I have no idea how you do that quest later leveled
I could definitely see how the waves of goblins would be awful to deal with at higher levels
I hope es6 gives more love to other weapons becides swords i like swords but come on
Ideally they put lots of effort and complexity to every possible playstyle
The goblins in that quest don't scale. They're still just level 1 goblins at level 27.
For me? Paralysis poisons, summon a daedroth and camping the goblin spawn behind the rock
Level 1 goblin vs umbra with 100 strength and 80+ blade.
They've always had a use.
What were they?
Daggers
Daggers are more for stealth attacks.
Since they have their own stealth bonus multiplier now.
I use both a shortsword and a dagger as a stealth character shortsword for outside of stealth
I should binge play obilvon tomorrow idk what else to play
I got a totem staff should I start a goblin war
I just slaughtered some skull one for the totem
Do people actually have favorite tribes?
Tbf his tribe is the only unique one.
White-Gold Concordrip!: https://store.yogscast.com/product/rimmy-beanie-656eeea7b6996/
So I originally jotted this down as a video idea that I thought would take me like a day at most to film and edit and now it's a full week later. Never thought a little fascination from my childhood would come swinging around this hard. It's just as fun as I r...
I just watched it bc obilvob
Get like three and drop them outside of the imperial palace.
I hope they dont run to it in stored containers or the waterfront is gonna be in trouble
Oh god this dark brotherhood traget followed me into a dungeon
And know a bruma gurad to kill them
Oh come on he died
By the Nine he’s tweaking
There's a writing issue in the vampire hunting quest its a small one but
Never change, Bethesda. Never change…
All my bugs are texture issues mostly
Unreal moment.
One of my quests is bugged, I forget which one
Tails some ressaon don't show when wearing full outfits
Or when you click on a soul gem your characters weapon disappears
This one happened when I returned from the Dreamworld
I just thought the hand placement was... interesting
Some of the more annoying bugs I've encountered have been Starlight not working unless I switch to 3rd person, my vertical mouse movement getting fucky every time I have the bow equipped while going for a swim, and either my sword or my shield stays invisible whenever I take off my chameleon ring
Sometimes certain spells stay in effect permanently unless I reload or exit game and re-open, such as both Starlight and detect life. Those can actually be helpful but it makes me feel like I'm cheating lol
Been playing Skyrim a lot, damn, the mage guild is just disappointing compared to Oblivion's
I find most of the guilds are in skyirm
Yeah, one major takeaway for me in Oblivion so far is that most of the quests are a lot more engaging and well written
The college of winterhold questline was way too short, for one thing
It's like 4 quests long
Skyrims thieves guild stops being about theirs half away in mages guild short and boring
Companions questline tho is better then the fighters guild questline to me atleast
I do enjoy the eyes of the falmer quest though, but maybe I'm biased because I just love dwarven ruins
Im more of a aylied ruin person
The ayleid ruins are cool so far, but I definitely prefer the dwarven ruins of Skyrim
Dungeon design overall I would say is much stronger in skyrim
Skyrim has the stornger dungeons
Or maybe I just haven't gone to the right dungeons in oblivion yet
Nah skyrim dungeons are more soild
Yeah, almost every one of them is unique in its own way which is impressive considering there are hundreds in skyrim
They've started getting repetitive fairly fast in oblivion
Obilvon storng suit is in the quests alot of the dungeons are basically the same in Obilvon
Definitely, the main thing keeping me going with Oblivion is the quests
Just about every side quest has something clever and interesting about it
There have been a handful of exceptions, such as the damn slaughterfish of the Rumare
You can lock your self out of that quest by laughing at him
And Sinderion's quest, which I can say for a fact that I'm not going to finish after finding out that you're have to get a whopping 100 nirnroots in total
I think I actually did that, and just reloaded a save lol
I definitely regretted reloading while frantically swimming around the lake trying to find slaughterfish
Didn't actually finish that quest until I got the Fin Gleam helmet
Yeah the quest is a bit bad
Half the time, the quest markers didn't actually lead me to a slaughterfish
Wasn't until I surfaced that I realized that a bunch of them beached themselves
You get a water breathing ring but as you said fin gleam
Yeah, kind of defeats the purpose of the reward although I prefer the ring because it weighs less
I normally play as argonians so the reward is normally useless to me anywas becides to sell or collect
There have been times that I regretted not being an Argonian, although eventually I got the water breathing spell and now the Rumare ring so it's not a huge deal anymore
I like the niche posion immunity and water breathing
I honestly didn't know water breathing and swimming in general would be as big of a deal as it is when I started the game
It wasn't that crucial in Skyrim, but Oblivion has a lot more quests that involve swimming underwater
I'm playing as a redguard, so I'm pretty good on disease immunity
Im playing as a breaton mage rn wanted a brake on the lizards
I've never really played as a mage in skyrim and that wasn't the plan in Oblivion either but now I've realized why Oblivion has a reputation for magic being the way to go
Spellswords or puremages are quite storng
So I kind of regret not investing more into magic related classes at the start
Spell stacking is quite broken
I was terrible at lockpicking at first so I put myself through the absolute pain of spamming low level alteration spells so that I could use the open lock ones
But by the time I actually got those spells, I've gotten much, much better at lockpicking
Obilvon lock picking is more patience based
I have it nailed down almost as well as skyrim/fallout lockpicking
Or just nab the skeleton key
That too, I need to find Nocturnal's shrine
My ability to do lockpicking is very dependent on exploiting the fact that the tumblers will always fall back down at the same speed as long as you stop it from hitting the bottom
Idk if that's intended or not but that was something added in the remaster
I've basically conditioned myself to be really good at knowing the timing of locking a tumbler in place about half a second after it clicks at the top
You want to click when it falls slow its more patience then skill based
A friend of mine told me about that, hopefully they don't "patch" it if it wasn't intentional lol
Yeah, I tend to wait until it's a slow fall and then I bump it upwards before it's fallen all the way down so that it stays going slow until I'm confident enough to lock it in place
I been trying to get better at lockpicking aswell
Lockpicking was a major struggle at the start of the game but I find myself getting through very hard locks first try now
Usually I break a few before that happens, but it's not so bad as it was before that I was running out of picks
I brake alot of lockpicks i get a bit impatient lol
Sometimes I get frustrated and break like 10 in a row
Anger and impatience definitely make you worse at the lockpicking minigame lol
The fact that Skyrim's thieves guild doesn't require you to steal anything.
The fact you return a item at the end
"Intimidate shopkeeper for protection money" brother that is a Fighter's Guild quest.
Returning the Skeleton Key is something I could never understand, like WHY would you have to give up such a useful item?!
Because people need to stop stealing from nocturnal.
Not at all
I remember hoping that I'd finally return it and Nocturnal would be like "you've done well champ, you get to keep the key" or some shit
It's literally a rehash from Oblivion.
Nocturnal needs to get her shit together then
People should steal more from Nocturnal
Guild steals from Nocturnal, Nocturnal curses Guild so they "struggle" until thing is returned/curse is broken.
Yeah. Bethesda isnt great at writing.
Nocturnal had two stolen quests in obilvon
Its pretty obvious though
Unfortunately they didn't do so for the Skyrim Guild quests.
Nocturnals dadric quest and the thieves guild Nocturnals crowl
Also, Oblivion isnt that ground breaking either
God of Thieves gets stolen from.
For all of Bethesda's more recent games, they seem to show their writing strength in specific side quests but are lacking in main quest shit
God gets pissy.
Like, pretty basic ass stories
Basic ass stories like FNV.
She should stop making it so easy the other gods aren't getting there shit stolen
Oh, you mean Obsidian?
Except people yap more so players think they're saying anything.
The imperial and the stormcloaks
I thought Skyrim's main quest was alright, but the journey to get through it was pretty good
Skyrims main quest is meh
But then every now and then Bethesda has a side quest somewhere that really shines
Skyirm is not well written
I'm just wondering if like, they've run out of all their ideas or what?
I dont think I've encountered a single elder scrolls quest that really wowed me since like... Morrowind
Did they already exhaust all their good stories on older games and just can't think of anything better?
Oblivion has had some really strong ones in my opinion, at least compared to Skyrim. I haven't played Morrowind so I don't have that to compare to
Skyrims finale boss is a fight you just did 20 mintues ago but easisr
Its more about the ease of access, imo. Morrowind is... not like Oblivion or Skyrim very much
A lot of the good ones come down to creativity and visuals though, but the actual story alone wouldn't have been enough
I hope Bethesda doesn't try to improve graphics more than say 76 in TES6.
That's not what should be focused on.
Probably gonna be starfield level atleast
Fine by me.
The fact that modern gaming focuses on graphics so much is fucking absurd.
While I do hope for good writing in TES VI, what REALLY matters to me is that we get another dense, handcrafted map full of environmental storytelling and extremely fun gameplay that will make me want to keep coming back to it
If stuff looks cool, people will check it out. Thats just how people are
Because Starfield was lacking in that respect and I think that's literally bethesda's biggest strongsuit
Bethesda has always had pretty good environmental storytelling.
But yeah.
Can't really randomly generate that.
Gameplay was decent in Starfield, but not the exploration side
And it was still a step down from previous entries in terms of things you can do with combat
I found trying to get gear to be a headache.
Level tiered weapons is not the way to go.
Randomly generated is this daggerfall
Yeah, that took some getting used to. And somehow they made base building atrocious
For a game like that, combined with how well they did base building in fo4 and 76, I would've expected better from them
Think they will add base building in tes6?
There was a lack of storage for materials, which made inventory management hell
I'd say there's a good chance of it
Even the hearthfire DLC in Skyrim was kind of like a precursor to base building
I just hope that even if they make base building really good, that there are still a ton of already existing towns/settlements in the game that have their own lore and characters that feel like they'll exist with or without you. Fo4 had about 3 or 4 major settlements, with the rest being fully dependent on you for base building and I want there to be more balance
It will be interesting to see base building on that scale in a TES game, though. Would be cool to build castles and shit
I hope half of the towns aren't tiny like winter hold downstar etc
Same here, another big thing with Oblivion I've noticed is that pretty much all of the towns are fairly large
It's kind of an illusion in some places because each building is physically bigger than most of the ones in skyrim
Even obilvons smallest city is bigger then dawnstar or falkgreath
Depends on the location.
Not all provinces have several massive cities like Cyrodiil.
Yes but these places are bigger in lore and chould have been made bigger
I did get the vibe that Skyrim just has a lot more population scarcity in general
Skyrim has four massive settlements.
The most they could do is actually add the ruins of Winterhold as something you could actually explore down in the Sea of Ghosts.
If we get a game in Black Marsh don't expect several massive cities.

Will we ever get a game in blackmarsh
Idk, it would be a hurdle unless we get retcons.
Iirc only Argonians can access most of the province.
Make up some main character bullshit
There's also the fact that everything is downscaled due to technological, time, and energy limitations. Skyrim is a few years newer than Oblivion and its cities are more dense and detailed even if by the lore, Skyrim's cities are smaller than Oblivion's
Then people would complain that the game is mostly Argonians.
Skyrim is mostly nords and no one bitched
The ones in Oblivion do appear larger but there's probably a lower number of NPCs per city
Pepole be racist to the lizards
I've thought about this, same with Elsweyr, but if you think about it Morrowind was a sort of odd-one-out province that they made a whole game about
Morrowind is still mostly "human" characters.
Dunmer are closer to humans than the others but still a very alien looking place
They'd bitch regradless
I'm sure someone would, but I think they could get away with it
Hell, what would be even better is a game that features both Black Marsh and Elsweyr
I do think High Rock or Hammerfell would be the best options.
At least for 6.
Or hell, both.
So you have two different major provinces and races, neither of which look human but at least there would be some sense of diversity
Elsweyr skooma everywhere
We may have people complaining "oh we already saw these regions".
No, not really.
High Rock would also let us see Orisinium, which would be cool af.
Orcs are from highrock?
My question is, what are they gonna do when they run out of provinces of Tamriel to base their games in? Maybe my great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandchildren will be the first to know that when TES IX comes out in the 27th century
Skyrim 2
Not from High Rock, but Orsinium is essentially their main settlement.
That would be cool af to see again.
Orsinium's basically like a city-state capitol of Orcs from what I recall
Pepole do like being racists to orcs
I think it's funny that people that are racist to elves in particular in Skyrim have no issue with orcs.
But everyone hates orcs in Skyrim.
Oblivion has a racism mechanic, where certain races have naturally lower dispositions with others.
Orcs have all negatives becides orcs
Orcs have lower natural disposition with everyone that isn't an orc.
I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like there has been a wayyyy larger population of orcs in Oblivion than there were in skyrim
And they definitely seem to be treated better in Cyrodiil
I'd still say Skyrim ekes out with the Strongholds, but there is a larger concentration in cities in Oblivion.
Like, there are Orc nobles in the big cities
Before Daggerfall, orcs weren't people.
They were temporarily considered people in ESO thanks to the Aldmeri Dominion of all factions.
Most of them also seem less stuck-up in oblivion
But that was lost as soon as they were replaced with the following incarnation of the Aldmeri Dominion.
Except for this asshole, who murdered my dude in cold blood
Ocato is my favourite High Elf in the series.
And the Thalmor killed him.
I meant the orcs, but I haven't met him yet
Buzz Buzz Buzz.
Most of the high elves I've met also have been significantly less stuck up as well, now that I think about it
Cyrodiil is largely full of nice people.
Unlike Skyrim.
Even the guards try to be helpful.
Instead of condescending at times like in Skyrim.
I'm grabbing just the quest mods from Lorerim
3744 mods seems like overkill
I’ve effectively crafted my first spell
How I reget not being a mage…
Why does his face look like the ancient depictions of sumerians
His look was heavily inspired by Bayek from AC Origins, but his face was also the least cursed randomizer preset that I could find, which I altered slightly
Fair
I guess I don't really know what a Sumerian looks like 🤷♂️
I was thinking of these
Well I can kind of see the resemblance with the beard but I like to think my boy Sayid looks a little more charming than that first pic
I should hope so, that statuette guy is looking a little rough
Lol
Duration on a charm spell?
I gave myself a few seconds in case I somehow hit someone with the spell but don't open dialogue in time
Fair.
I wish there was an option to just pay an npc an ungodly amount of gold in order to ascend a whole skill tier
Like they could make it a ridiculous amount such as 20,000 gold for one ascension of 25 skill points to discourage it from being too easy, but it'd be nice to have that option
I don't see myself having the patience to get a lot of skills to 75, let alone 100
It really isnt as tedious as it seems. Imo, leveling seems faster in the remake
Minor skills increase level and you dont need to worry about meta gaming your skills
Yeah, leveling seems faster in the remake
Deffo not too hard to grind that skill up
I got 100 Destruction in like... twoish days?
Yeah they changed how exp works on alot of skills like merchentile and spells
It's know based on cost instead of just casting it/selling it
Old merchentile was a grind to level because of this having to sell items one by one instead of just selling the stack
I wanna get back to Oblivion but the fishing update and my hunter killer team on SM2 keep me occupied
Maybe this weekend between painting minis I can finally get back to cyrodil
They call this game a remaster but didn't add any fishing
I hope they fix tails in the next update
Did anyone else buy the extra dlcs that add new horse armor
I did not
Its nonthing special two short side quests that add new weapons and armor
I wanted the Order of the Hour armor so yes I did.
Granted I got the base game for free so I only paid for the deluxe edition upgrade
If lord of the rings didn't exist who have voiced martin
Probably still Sean Bean tbh. He was famous before LotR.
I made a spell called "Avada Kedavra"
It was basically Drain Health 100, Damage Health 100, Fire Damage 100, Frost Damage 100, Shock Damage 100 , Weakness to Fire 100% 1 second, Weakness to Frost 100% 1 second, and Weakness to Shock 100% 1 second, and Weakness to Magic 100% 1 second
Could've added Poison 100% and Weakness to Poison 100% 1 second
But eh, overkill
Wounder if you can kill dagon in the remaster
I'm very stoked for Skyblivion after replaying Skyrim
Gonna look foreword to seeing people playing it
Don't put weaknesses on the damage spells themselves.
They don't come into effect until the following hit.
That would explain the lack of damage
Idea, 2 seconds and follow up with Avada Kedavra
Maybe 3 seconds?
I guess I'm not as original as I thought because I thought about giving a drain health spell the same name lol
But with all of those effects, it really would be "death before their body hits the floor"
Weakness to magic is bonkers way more punishing then in morrowind
I just Jonestown'd these fuckers so hard
Playing as a mage allmost feels to easy i chould allwas turn up the difficulty
No paralyzing?
Dont need it if they die in one hit
It killed pretty much everything aside from like, daedra
I appreciate the attention to detail in that there are a fuckton of Khajiit and Argonian residents in Leyawiin
Given how close it is to the borders of both Elsweyr and Black Marsh
I allwas kill the queen
@rough smelt I's reinstalled oblivion
Nice it's quite fun
Subscribe for more Unhinged RPG Videos 🤗 Appreciate you all!
The way this man scared the shit out of me
I too would be scared if a nord appeared out of the darkness and confronted me.
He's just a basic bitch mage though
It's still a fucking nord.
Nord racism
Nords are savages.
Mostly just fixes
Weapon disappearing glitch fix potentially?
Maybe i hope they fix the tail glitch
I guess it would be nice if Bob didn't keep having his tail disappear
Some clothing makes the tail disappear mainly full body clouths like robes
I've got Bob in light armor, haven't put him in a robe yet though. I should try it and see if they fixed it
Where did my tail go into a plane of obilvon
It was worse knowing I had cleared the entire dungeon of enemies so I started running back at full speed with my light spell on and he was right around the corner
Gave me a good blood pressure spike
I know its small but Its hard to play a beast race with my tail disappearing
Did they not fix it?
Not yet
The fuck? The game just loaded me into a much earlier save. The latest save was still there but I had to load it manually
I thought my shit was corrupted for a second there
I played a breaton mage bc no tail
I stop playing a while ago cuz a dungeon I entered entrance disappeared after I finished everything
They should have kept those teleport spells
The Akaviri were human? 🤨
They were... humanoid I guess
Don't think we actually know? Do we?
Didn't the akvari make the blades
Should I "remaster" my first YouTube video obilvon house tour
No pretty sure that's just cuz they weren't able to actually make a snake body humanoid model
The akaviri are shapeshifting snake humanoids
Got like a humanoid torso with a head with snake features then have a snake tail lower half for movement
They chould have used Aragoians
Eso takes place a few hundred years after an akaviri invasion, be cool if they have any models or skeletons
The Akaviri that became the blades were a human race.
The Akaviri humans are now effectively extinct though.
That is only one of the Akaviri races.
There's the Demons of Kamal, man-eating Serpent Folk of Tsaesci, the Tiger Dragons of Tang Mo, and the Monkey People of Ka'Po'Tun.
Think it was the demons of Kamal that invaded before eso takes place
Yes, but Sacre Tor is a human Akaviri stronghold.
The Pale Pass is as far as the Tsaesci came.
Is that why the amulet of viper eye is all snake themed? It was orginally a Tsaeaci artifact?
The Tsaesci are humans, yes. Or rather, they appear as humans.
There’s two common explanations for why the Tsaesci appear as humans but are described as being serpentine:
- They use a lot of snake imagery for their armor, weapons, and everything.
- They were once serpentine beastfolk but ate the humans of Akavir and became them.
You are what you eat
We Ate It To Become It is the name of their origin mythos.
Wabbajack got a new model in the remaster to bad it dosent effect npcs
I think I prefer the explanations that either there were snake-people that either forced humans to serve them or the humans did so willingly, or that it's just gameplay limitations
Ah, I thought I remembered reading something in Skyrim that talked about that
If that's from the Mysterious Akavir book then I guess it's in Oblivion too
Here I thought that all the books you can read in Skyrim were written specifically for Skyrim, but most of them were in Oblivion too it seems
Possibly earlier games too but I wouldn't know because I haven't played them
Alot of books been from the start or morrowind
Eh, we have ESO lore that implies the “eating” is the correct one.
Chevaliar Renald is a non-mage and non-vampire who is alive for over a thousand years, and he kind of gives a wry response to the Vestige questioning his longevity.
Hmm, so they eat the humans which made them look human?
Yep because the ultimate goal is to eat dragons.
It’s a myth-echo of Lorkhan and Akatosh trading places.
The Serpent-folk of Akavir are arch-enemies of the Tiger-folk whose King is a Dragon.
The blades ancestors were the human race of Akavir though, which are now extinct.
Nope, the Dragonguard were Tsaesci.
In the 2703rd year of the First Era, Tamriel first faced an organized armada of Tsaesci, the so-called "Akaviri Snakemen", and met the challenge with a resounding victory in the Pale Pass of Skyrim.
PGE3
Mysterious Akavir is intentionally misleading and not entirely accurate to what is actually true
There is a Reddit post which does a parody of it called Mysterious Tamriel which does a similar thing to the races of Tamriel
Tang Mo are the monkey-folk, and the Ka Po’ Tun are not tiger-dragons.
They’re tiger-folk who are led by a tiger-dragon named Tosh Raka.
Probably gonna make a new guy it looked cool in the character marker
Narbie
you just need to have a more muted purple and it'll look fantastic
I binged the worse questline know I gotta decide what else I should do first
Which one is that? The arena?
I tried to binge it but I didn't realize just how many damn rounds there are
I think I made it to gladiator
Fighters guild
Arena has zero story to it so
Im level 14 I should deliver the amulet
Naaah, it ain't going anywhere
Besides, Martin is fine. So Kvatch burns down, all kinds of places burn down! Like uh, Kvatch! Oh...
At level 23, the Oblivion gates are starting to feel like I'm playing DOOM
Hero of kvatch is just doom dark ages
Deffo more fun, at least
So is telekinesis broken for anyone else? I can hold objects in the air but I can’t actually release them to pick them up until the effect expires
And pressing E while floating them doesn’t do shit
I was doing a dark brotherhood mission attacked the guy in frount of a gurad and the gurad just killed him
That guard knows who Sithis is
In trying to clear up all the stuff in the main area before shivering isles im allready 20 and I only been doing guild quests
Is it even possible to cast the full leveled finger of the mountain in either verison
because I am slow. I have closed my first oblivion gate!
Well done, Chosen one
This quest sucked ass, I had to reload 3 times because this dumb idiot kept walking straight into the monsters
One of those times, she waltzed into my line of fire and took an arrow for a daedroth and died immediately
Im really enjoying my 100% mage I'm going for
No light or heavy armour, magic in all cases, then staffs first then dagger as a last resort
I finally got into the University for Mages to make my own spells and enchant stuff. I feel all the mage guild locations should have had them or at least the ones in nicer towns
Making spells are broken so they wanted to make it so you had to somewhat work for it
I already had the power of Alchemy on my side though!
Mix your way to godhood
I have made so many feather potions
Most of my armor is enchanted with Feather and strength effects lol
I’m so late-game at this point that nothing I can pick up really has any value to me, but the act of picking items up and then selling them will always be pure dopamine to me in any game
I’m honestly just wanting to finish the game already, some of these questlines seem to go on forever lol. I’ve decided to only focus on factions and main quest and then I’m calling it quits. I just wrapped up Fighters and Mages Guilds, pretty sure I’m about to finish with Thieves
You finish the Dark Brotherhood?
No, that's now the last faction questline I have to finish
I must say, I enjoyed the plot twist at the end of the Thieves Guild
I would assume that I'm in the last portion of the DB, I ||executed order 66 on my Cheydinhal brothers and have been doing contracts directly from the Hand||
@rough smelt Castle Chorrol lookin good
Apparently, I killed this guy at some point earlier in the game so the quest automatically updated as soon as I got it…
That, or it was an act of god and I’m just taking the credit for it
I don't know how you'd accidentally kill him.
Oh, he walks around.
He does travel, so I guess it’s possible he got mauled by a bear or something while I was in the same chunk as him
NOOOO
Good god that battle was stressful at level 26
I think we fought more daedra than the population of Bruma itself
I need to learn how spells work more. Specifically destruction. I have a spell I made that drains HP 100 over 4 seconds for what I assume is a total of 400. This true? is it permanent?
By the Nine he’s tweaking
Still haven't fixed the tail glitch with clouths i wanna be a argoian wizard
Yes the minor detail is that important to me
I finished the mage guilde quest and started the shimmering ilses dlc yesterday
Shivering Isles.
I chould allwas do a breaton mage build
The tail disappearing thing just annoying
Shivering isles ahivements only ones im missing
I can't decide between clouths or light armor
Clothes.
