#EPISODE 1

Just looked it up on the fallout wiki, apparently there was something similar in fallout 3, and in the notes apparently there’s another junk jet in ||episode two||
Your assumption might actually be correct that it was possibly slightly commercialised or had a few copies made And also apparently it was going to be in 76 but got cut
Yeah def lol
Oh true I haven’t played 3 in many years. That’s cool to know
If there’s lore showing it being adapted and commercialised would be cool but being in 76 wouldn’t be cool since no one had discovered it yet
||Actually, the junk jet isnt exclusive to ArcJet
Manta man, a random encounter in 4, has a junk jet aswell||
there is many types of junk throwing devices
Like a good ol' fashioned hand that propelled humans to apex predator
I'm guessing the canon ending for Fallout 4 was the Brotherhood ending since we saw the Prydwen
Not the Prydwen
We've been over that looooong before the show released. Different airship named the Caswedan
I see
They've also states that they arent confirming any ending of 4 in this season
Must have missed that
And my guess is the BoS we saw is the Lost Hills chapter. And a Vault located near the Santa Monica Pier, very interesting choice
But we do know its not the institute or RR ending as the east coast BoS gave orders to the west coast BoS
Another question I do have to ask is how did the Raiders get into Vault 32?
Its very easy to convince people to do something for you if you're charismatic
Things to NOT say on your first date
||the junk jet from the show has slightly better design and from all we know they could have just modified a broasider||
Yeah true but The aspect of the being multiple junk jets isn’t technically possible due to the only reason it exists is because some technician wanted to murder his colleagues. this is what is written on the fallout wiki “Prior to the Great War, an unnamed technician working at ArcJet Systems had become fed up with being repeatedly belittled by his coworkers. Sick of being mocked for only having a high school education, regularly reading science magazines, and being the butt of jokes about attending shop class, he decided to get revenge and created the Junk Jet to showcase his engineering skills, and to murder the engineers who were mocking him. Fortunately for his potential victims, choosing to carry out his murder spree on October 25, 2077 resulted in it, like everything else being cut short by the bombs dropping two days beforehand.[1] Afterward, the Junk Jet was left in the relatively intact sub-terranean rocket silo of the ArcJet Systems building for the next two centuries.” This was the direct copy and paste.
Hope to see someone eventually turn all these new outfits into mods
that reffers to "the junk jet" that fo4's protag can find that being said i dont think an idea of shooting whatever out of lets say broadsider wouldnt be a common thought over almost 300 years
there were schematics for something similar to the junk jet in fallout 3
it's not a new concept
Its like agriculture
Or building pyramids. Multiple people across the globe thought of doing the same thing
So how did the raiders get into the vault if they refuse to open the main door?
it's explained in later episodes
The power of words
"yo, open up, I got a crate of ice cold nuka cola Im supposed to deliver here. "
Come right on in!
How did they not run out of nuka-colas 200 years later. TV logic
Did anyone else figure out that the bad guys were actually raiders immediately? I think I knew it as soon as I saw their dirty clothes
Yeah it stands out
Man, I loved the sex scene in episode one. There was something hilarious about it turning out he was a raider.
i figured out they were raiders by the way they ate
They don't hide it
I knew the moment I saw the scars
Then all the hints clicked from before
Just so you know this was the best day of my life
The raiders seem kinda dumb though. Why do they burn down all the crops and destroy all the stuff instead of just taking over the vaults and turning all the vault dwellers into their workers/slaves?
Sooooo
Well the dwellers would be doing all the work...
You’ll find out some stuff later to tie more things together
They were clearly after her father anyway
So, they had to die. Clearly they got information from them before killing them all
Given they knew what was going on, if awkward
The husbands hair was a dead giveaway
That's all you needed to see to instantly come to the conclusion.
Literally compare his hairstyle to literally every other vault dweller
That is the hair you get if you do not care a single bit about yourself
Can I say I LOVE how gorgeous and immaculately shot this show is? These are all my favorites
I’m gushing over how enjoyable this show is. Exceeded my expectations
This shot is my favorite especially. It says so much. I want to shake whoever came up with this framing
The imagery in the whole show is amazing but yes the first scene absolute chef kiss
The first image is meme potential
That's a genuine meme reaction if I've ever seen one
Also something I haven't seen people discussing, how god damn rich was the family who was hosting a birthday party
Did you see that house, holy crap
They literally had enough money to buy a famous actor even
And their own fallout shelter. That family was loaded
You all have to remember that in the fallout universe everything is massively inflated. So that costed like 50x more than we'd think itd cost in our economy
As in, that place is probably a million dollars or more, and plus the actor in our universe.
But in the fallout universe, that's like 20+ million or something

Rich enough to have a 6am birthday party
That too
Who the heck is up at 6AM. Good god.
Who's hosting a birthday at 6AM???
I'm going to guess that was an oversight by Bethesda.
They had that scene solely for the bombs, I don't think they thought it quite through entirely
That scene literally worked until you mentioned the birthday party being at 6AM.
Scene instantly ruined
I mean in Fallout 4 it seems to early for 6 AM
It was 9:30 in Boston
But someone else pointed out the lore is mixed since somewhere says night time
Morning.
There's only one mention of the bombs dropping at night, in Old World Blues. Every other mention points at morning.
Ok so why is there a birthday party IN THE MORNING

9AM can be excusable. Barely.
But 6AM.
Birthday party, and birthday cake.
because the writers wanted to do the birthday party scene with the bombs dropping
Didnt it bomb in the morning in Fallout 4
I love the setup of the tension in that
SO TENSE
the constant worry the adults are in
I really hate the family so much
the dad being a dick, the mom just saying like shut up its a party
The intro was the weakest scene
I liked that family. It really showed the tension and what it did to both of them
in what universe lol
I love that all the characters are flawed
Privileged on their upscale home, but still worried and jumpy
That's just my personal opinion rest of the show is fire tho
I've seen 3 episodes so far. Liked them all
I love the series, defo gonna re watch before season 2 once it gets announced.
Also I love how so many events were foreshadowed yet weren't just told in the dialogue
Like I predicted half the plot of ep 3 on my first watch and I even avoided trailers lmao
I've seen the first 2 twice now, watched snippets of most of the other episodes trying to find stuff, now watching 1 all the way through again
nerd
How gory is the show? I’m asking for my mom, she wants to watch it with me but she isn’t a big fan of gory stuff. I saw some of the stuff in the first episode
Like with Monty’s face getting ripped up by the glass
Does it get any worse? Just a yes or no will do
There's moments but hmmm I'd say not more than that
Alright thanks
i liked this part but i feel like it would have been better if they did something like that couple in nuka world
the ones who held hands looking at the blast
are the raiders from 32 actually raiders?
yes
What type of needle did Lucy use when she got stabbed?

How is the enclave still around?
not every base got blasted
a stimpak, very iconic healing item in fallout games
i mean i feel like it still is pretty gory
i'd say it can be worse than the first scenes 😭
Visually not all much more than the shredding face I don’t think. All about on par
i'm watching episode 2 now and there is like a leg that gets blown off and a head that gets blown off, no idea if its gets worse
but i don't think its that gore focused, more like it kinda just happens at times
Yeah not much else is full screen focus
I think episode 2 is the worst when it comes to gore lol
But it stays pretty consistent
"Bro should've read the manual" -Mr Ghoul guy in Filly or something idk
What math were they using for deciding how long they'd stay in the vault for?
Cause we saw that radiation was at a survivable level outside the craters like 100s post boom
was the guy at the beginning with the dark child, is he the ghoul?
seems like they were looking for no radiation, or not enough to harm their kids for generations
i personally wouldnt not want to leave the vault until grass can grow again
i agree with Rico
thats what i thought, i only watched the first episode, im waiting for my friends to catch up
I'm watching ep 1 rn
tell me when your done i wanna know if u noticed something
it has nothing to do with lore or story, just something i saw lmao
can we talk about how my fo4 vault hasnt been opened since i got it, but these guys open it for everything, how would i not be a better vault overseer than these goof bags?
It varied.
Depends on the goal of the vault.
Some were never to open, some were to open quickly, others after 200 years etc.
What was The Ghoul in before he was unburied? There were some form of IV bags and all that.
it's radaway
Probably to keep him from going feral
@icy star I really don't see text on it but it might be my screen
It's hard to make out, but it lines up with the lettering and BOS symbol.
Could very well be a ship from the same fleet
Assuming they'd have multiple
Vanity Fair got a look at the show around 4 months ago and supposedly the ship is named the Caswennan.
it says prydwen in the shiw
Rap recap of Fallout Episode 1 "The End" #fallout #falloutseries
Fallout has always been one of my favorite game series, ever since my dad first introduced me to original Fallout game on PC. Although I'm pretty sure I was a little too young to fully understand the mature humor of the game at the time, but that didn't stop me from being comple...
Hey guys I misunderstood what happened with Dane, could anyone explain
Oh sorry I didn't mean to ping you
I've had a new phone and have had trouble with navigating
Someone (no one knows who) put razors in their boot to incapacitate them on purpose if thats what youre confused about
You'll find out in later episodes
Oh thx mama dolce
I figured the BoS in episode 1 is just a really small outpost of BoS. I mean these guys have chapters all over the USA anyway. The whole airbase has a real boomers vibe from FNV.
Nah why did the dad have to smack that one guy, he just asked if he can go inside the bunker
