Just gotta ask in the space rig so we pick the right biome if not, just ask whenever we randomly end up there. It's such a fast easy one, I'd say you'll go thru less work building a group

I got most achievements( almost all of them actually) without using discord. Just happening naturally or asking in game

Ahhh. Gotcha.. I've heard it can be tough in the lfg for AUS time zone but just a reminder that APAC servers on PS are pretty mellow. I've had some late nights with great groups in France, Japan, Denmark and a few others.

Don't feel pressured to stick to your geo. Unless a mic is required, you'll do fine in any server. The game ping system is great

Can't say I've heard of it being an issue. Tbh I'm not sure if that issue would be with DRG. Feels like a ps issue bc time PS uses isn't related to anything DRG itself tracks.

Also this is definitely more of a #playstation question. Maybe someone in there has seen it.

Yea definitely do that one next time. Pick length one, no modifiers PE mission if you can find one

And just haul ass as scout. Ignore any enemy that isn't a major threat (spitters, stingtail, spreaders, breeders etc).. on solo, make bosco do everything. COMPLETELY IGNORE the secondary objective

On solo it's a bit more work bc you have to get the aquarks yourself but same story: speed run the objective and ignore as many enemies as possible unless you have to fight

Maybe I'll start doing lobby days just to help people get these.

We just finished.
You can get 1 -2 resups in stage 1 and 2. We managed 3 on s3 stage bc we opted to not resup at all on s1 tho

Had a betc on s1 AND s2 but we completely ignored it on s2 bc it was way out of our way and ignoring it saved ammo

Took 47 mins but ya could definitely get it done faster with the right team. We lost good time dealing with unexpected betc activation on s1 but beyond that things ran smooth

I probably shouldn't have died more than 1-2 times but barely concerned bc we were never really close to failure beyond the first 5 minutes of s1 with betc

Deep dives are usually better for new players but as ya build confidence, try out the elite dives. You get rewards from BOTH dives so it's not just about choosing the harder one just for fun.

Eh never say that. Just keep going and with the right team you'll get there. I had 2 players with rank 26 and 50 something today on EDD.. They died a lot and made mistakes, that isTOTALLY FINE AND EXPECTED

What most care about more than anything is that you learn and don't just bail on them since there's no way to backfill if someone leaves. You'll find players to carry and teach you 😘

You wouldn't think it from the numbers but I'm pretty proud of the 2 greenbeards here bc they did not have an easy time but they didn't quit and listened to any advice we gave on how to do better

Not everyone will directly teach you but that doesn't mean you can't learn from watching

If you go down, switch your camera to one of the highest level players and watch what they do, how they move, when they decide to go for revives and whatnot

Fair enough tho its a long road to fully know the game, all it's mechanics, weapons, enemies, strategies etc but you are correct. Numbers don't always tell you bc sometimes it's someone who moved over from PC or someone like me who "studies" a lot when first starting.

Tho I'll say these 2 were definitely still newer and learning and it kind of shows in the numbers. They still did solid work tho

There's no clear number on *greenbeard vs greybeard" so when I said it above, it was more based on me being able to tell and coming off mute to teach them. I think most agree it's about how you play and whether you know the game well enough to teach it.

Congrats Vodka. I completed my run today as well, after many failed attempts. I was also happy with the group I found because we did wipe the first time, but got it during the second run. It's awesome to behold the resilience in my fellow Dwarves!

I'm willing to bet many of those deaths must have been because of Bet-C, no? Not sure if it's fixed or RNG for Deep Dives, but we encountered her in stages 1 and 2 on both runs. That thing is evil!!

Gratz again for not giving up and helping with guiding them. EDD at level 29 is no small feat!

Lol yea a lot of my deaths were stage 1 betc and then just falling bc I'm dumb on stage 3 but after I had 3 deaths on s1, I stopped caring.

I try to go for deathless or sub 2 if I can. After that I just say whatever and don't care if I die as long as it doesn't endanger the mission 😅

(And yes, the betc and enemies are a bit rng even for a deep dive but usually somewhat consistent across plays)
