It's hard to say what is ideal. There's no good answer for everyone. The 180 degree quick turn around is enabled by default, and there's still folks who've recently posted here asking why they sometimes spin around unexpectedly

Did you install the PS4 saved data from a portable hard drive, USB stick or something like that? I'm not sure, but saved player data might only be able to be downloaded from the PS cloud? Could be something made to stop people from sharing their leveled up accounts with other people?

That could be why then, try reinstalling your player data directly from the cloud and hopefully that should work.

Hmm. Try to upload your save files to the cloud again from your PS4

Make sure to perform a save action in the game on Season 02 on PS4 first. It shouldn't make a difference which version the save was previously used with, but doesn't hurt to try at this point.

We found the issue with 120FPS mode, it's a engine addition that now requires the player to go to "Settings -> Saved Data and Game/App Settings -> Game Presets -> Performance mode or Resolution Mode" and set that to Performance Mode.
This should fix the issue after restarting the game, however I will look into the possibility to set this in-game when I have the time.

With that being said, we have noticed one issue with save transfers which we hope to have resolved in the next patch.

If all goes according to plan, that patch will hopefully release tomorrow - but no promises. It all depends on how quickly Sony will allow it to pass through their certification processes.

After the update, is anyone else's character pulling out their laser pointer at random times? I have to switch weapons to get rid of it but it'll happen multiple times per mission. bought a PS5 and downloaded the game, and on PS5 the PS4 game works normally.
But, he installed the PS5 version of the game and he can't import the savegame progress from PS4 to PS5 version.
The PS5 game cannot find a savegame on the console to import.

I like the brt with lead spray built for damage. It deletes oppressors and praetorians. That being said I don't usually use the autocannon, which would benefit from a better ranged option, probably (experimental rounds or micro-flechettes on brt would work)

I'd say definitely submit a bug report, hopefully Ghost Ship can get it fixed. Does the games saved data that is your own player data come up anywhere in the system storage? Like for example if uninstalled the game Doom Eternal to make space, I'd still have my game progress saved separately as a smaller file size if I wanted to reinstall it again?

Yes, that is a really OC good for crowd control, I'd recommend the bulldog with it for your single target damage

anyone else been having hiveguard dreadnaughts just spawn and never call their children/minions? and instead just stand where they come out of the egg and do nothing? preventing you from beating the missions? as its happened 3 times for me now.

It only started happening after this season 2 update.

I've played a lot, and thats never happened before season 2. But the majority of my playtime is on pc as well but regardless i've had people leave because of it and join in after those people have left from frustration(i generally host public lobbies) it changes nothing.

Theoretically you should be able to upload your file into the cloud on ps4 then on your ps5 go into options > save menu > restore save and grab it from there

Hello. I noticed bugged trophies since the beginning of season2 on ps4… I did à ticket on Jira. My issues are focused on Hazard5 missions. « Going Lethal » and « Karl Would Be Proud » didnt pop. Im expected now having issues with other trophies. I Hope it will Be fixed asap.

the coilgun isnt weak at all, you can 1 or 2 shot the robots with it and pretty much 1 shot things like a menace. and if you use the perk that allows to partially charge it up you can even use it effectively to kill weaker enemys without wasting ammo

yea anyways, i can see why people dont like the coil gun but it fits well with my minigun setup and is generally good i think.

the crossbow was a weapon i didnt expect to fit into my playstyle but it does pretty well with its decently fast fire rate and the utility of the arrow types.

the shard diffractor feels really strong but is a bit weird, from my playing with it i found it to kill bulks really easily if you aim for the weakspots(on haz 3 at least)

the wave cooker is the only one im not a huge fan but i might just need to play around with it a bit more

the main way to pseudo "stun" is to bait out the quake then bounce over them

nothing to do with real stun though, just keeping them in place

but yeah my squad and I did a Dreadnought Haz 3 mission to try to get Just Another Bug Hunt.
We got the twins spawned in first then the Hiveguard, so we killed the Lacerator first and dragged the Arbalest to the Hiveguard that the other 2 were weakening.
We killed the Hiveguard and then the Arbalest within 5-10 seconds of each other and escaped and the trophy did not pop at all

did the update change the cave generation? because in dense biome and crystal cavers especially the big crystals and roots seem to be a lot more to the point where i havent had a single mission where i didnt need to dig through them to reach parts of the cave

but unlike bulks or dreads, deep rock wants us to kill any nemesis we encounter because they're from a rival company and massively disrupt our work, so it would make sense that a dwarf or team of dwarfs who manage to take one out should get some reward for it

but, bulks and dreads do that same thing . All the enemies disrupt our work. The prospector makes sense that is has a data cell. Its surveying the area and recording deposits . If that was the case we should be rewarded for ever turret and bug we kill

but nemesi, unlike any other enemy. are specivically in hoxxes to kill dwarfs and disrupt our work, they are openly hostile

bugs and any of the other rival enemies are just defending their territory, the nemesis is actively seeking a fight
