If you join a game where the barrels have already been stashed into the pit or the pod, you will load in and get the achievement.

Accidentally had that happen when I joined my friend who did that while he was waiting for me to finish dishes.

Every now and then I post a LFG for a group for that specific trophy. I also don’t have the patience for kicking the barrels to 3000, but if you have a full party you can buy rounds of leaf lovers and chuck the mugs into the hoop for 1 point each (and you can go down and get the same mug if you are short on cash) and keep repeating it

Just need a patient dwarf to do the kicking and a crew of dwarves to mug toss when it gets close

Did you know if you get the time well spent trophy you should 1) may aswell get the A-Team trophy not just for a trophy but because you want it as compact as possible.

2. when every barrel is in the drop pod you can start the mission and you’ll launch the pod into the launch bay with all the barrels and get the achievement for putting all barrels in the launch bay as well.

Those barrels can be so finicky sometimes. I had 2 of them stuck into the launch bay and had to keep restarting gravity to get them inside haha

You get a big confidence boost when 23/25 are inside the droppod and you are almost there. It’s also worth noting the gravity reset can sometimes push out the barrels already in the droppod, so go check after each use

Yes exactly. These odd trophies are actually really fun team games. Even if I earned the 3000 barrel hoop trophy I’d still attempt it again with a group of mug throws.

I had a barrel get stuck in the station. I kept standing on it to try and kick at a different angle. I stood on it for like 2m but I got a trophy for sitting on it for 30s and it’s apparently really challenging to obtain since barrels move if you land on them. Must have been fate.

One of my friend got to 2,990 with 99 barrel kicks done after that like 4 of us just kept throwing beer mugs and after it crossed 3000 points a mug from each of us popped the trophy for all of us lol

Obligatory: played it on PC at launch and it wasn't the worst single player experience I've ever had. If they're genuinely making improvements, and it is playable on console, then I would still recommend it if the cyberpunk genre is your thing, because it does end up having quite a few redeeming qualities in that respect. But yeah, console launch was a massive oof.

I'd recommend Outer Wilds from the list, 40% off.

Honestly, that and fossils. Whenever I do fossils they're always a mile high in the sky or crammed in a corner out of sight.

My top three for most annoying, in order, is Frost Fleas > Gunk Seeds > Fossils.

The estimate on PSN profiles is 200-400 hours dependent on XP coordination, and it has a 0.07% member completion percentage atm, which, hard to say how many people that is, but at least one of them might be legitimate.

The main strat for high levels is joining games where it's pretty much over just to get xp.

If you have your save auto-sync with the cloud, you can restore your save by using it
If you don't have it, then you can't get the progression back
I recommend to close the game when finishing playing and verify that your save was sync into the cloud each time because it's a bug going on a lot at the moment

So, I just doubled checked, and not missing anything. Counted up the cosmetic tree rewards = 80 unlocks. Counted up the scrip from the pass = 60 + 10 from the season event bonus. Meaning there's 10 you'd need from the data rack challenges, no?

Yes, once you got all the bonus stuff from the Sabotage Missions It'll no longer award a scrip point but just 2500Exp. So when that happes you know you got all scrip you can get from Sabotage Missions.

I'd say it doesn't hurt to contact support, etc. continue to make the issue known to the devs, cause unless it's already submitted to the pipeline of fixes and has a timeframe, the incentive to actually fix an issue, especially achievement related, won't be prioritized, right.

I got a data cell mission for a scrip today, and then I rerolled a different one and got another data cell. I needed a final mission in a certain biome so I picked driller to get promotion xp and hopped into a salvage mission

After beating a Machine Event you get a choice, but the three options you can choose from are completely random, so you might not be able to chose an overclock for the class you want

If you don't get an option for a scout or engineer weapon overclock from the Machine Event, it's a good idea to focus on one other class, either driller or Gunner. Once you collect all available overclocks for a class, that class won't be offered as a choice anymore, making your desired classes come up more often.

I've never tried. I always figured I'd get them all sooner or later, so I might as well reduce the available pool of potential overclocks while I'm there. You won't get duplicates, so once you have all the scout overclocks, for example, you won't get the scout as an option. That frees you up to have better odds of getting a choice for another class you want

Any gunners here have any recommendations or favourite loadout picks? I'm torn between almost all of the gunner's weapons, expect for the mini-rocket launcher. Also, not sure which perks synergize best with a gunner's playstyle.

I think in general gunner is pretty alright Iron will pick because you can shield while reviving others as an emergency

Yeah, I'd been running dash and found it very useful to compensate his otherwise poor mobility. And I just got elephant rounds on his revolver and oof, they're good, but I had also just taken a liking to the burst pistol 😄 don't have lead storm and not sure what it is.

I'd use the zipline more often if I didn't feel as though I could be so wasteful with it (3-4 ammo) so, often I'm using them for level distribution in the larger areas rather than combat lines, which is what I'm half hoping to really get out of the gunner.

leadstorm makes it so you deal a loooot more dmg with the minigun but you cant move while shooting, so that with elephant rounds is not something Id take normally but I tried it for fun on elim and the twin dreadnoughts died so fast, elephant rifle to the glyphid boss' behind took like 25% off of one pistol shot lol

I personally also think the zipline is kind of a weakspot design wise right now, for uphill traversal the other three classes are way faster in their own way downhill traversal sure its not bad but even then the other classes just do it fine too, scout just zooms around is a strong independent dwarf, engi builds a staircase or hops down on his platform and mole just makes a hole

and for combat I think I feel like a rotisseri chicken for bugs on that thing, like target practice for mactera at least on haz 4 and 5

I feel like it tends to spawn away from you. Basically a while ago it was the Drilldozer mission after getting the heartstone we hit the button and decide to run back, half way through when we saw the drop pod was landing it was next to the heartstone so we had to run back

I don't think any of the trophies require you to be the person to deposit something, i.e. bittergems, gold chunks, etc. I've gotten credit in the trophy progress for other people depositing those things.

They're harder to spot than jadiz or aquarqs, but the gold chunks have the same style of mini nuggets as those. The mini nuggets don't glow like jadiz or aquarq though, but they are gold colored so they do stand out a little in bright light. The gold chunk itself emits a faint glow when still buried, and that's easier to see when it's completely dark

In regards to bugged trophies and bad tracking, I always make sure to disband team as soon as I wake up my playstation. I have found that tracking gets weird if you go into a mission straight after waking up the console. Not sure if that will help some people. Your mileage may vary here. Rock and stone!

While trying to do the Deep Dive early today I was in a lobby with a driller after a failed attempt. Two others join and it was him as driller, Me as scout, a second driller and second scout. They then clicked on mic and said "Anything but scout please" aaand the lobby was closed. Like.. what?

Exactly! Scout flares are actually the key to completing objectives well, especially those tricky secondaries that hide in ceilings. They're also great for lighting up large rooms to give players better awareness when it comes to large hordes. I dunno why the Scout is hated so much but they're really clutch in any group.

Unfortunately, saves are tied the the version of the game, so PS5 saves only work with the PS5 version and PS4 saves only work with the PS4 version. There is no way to transfer progress between versions at this time. The devs have said they'll take a look at making progress transferable, but there is no guarantee or time frame for that happening

AFAIK, they use "PS5 OS feature" which allows a PS5 game to read PS4 save file. Same is not possible on PS4.

Basically, all of the trophies. They randomly glitch and the progress will be stuck forever. You can read more reports on PSNProfiles.com forum. For example, my alien artifacts are stuck at 3/5 and I have personally deposited around 8 or so. My terminal shows 13 total.

Your current progress should show up after triggering the achievement condition one more time in-game but as others have mentioned there are issues with some unlock conditions that I am going to take a look at next.

There also looks like there might be an issue with cross-gen saves not being able to unlock trophies you already unlocked on PS4™️, but if you have not unlocked them then you should be able to see the progress on the trophy and be able to progress them further.

A trophy fix (for this issue and others previously reported) is something I want to get in for the next patch.

To be fair, I was doing the DD and EDD with Driller at first because you are a litteral tank with the Cryo Cannon, the Axe and Vampire+Iron Will
But Engie with 2 turrets, Breach Cutter and Plasma Buster is so damn good ahah

Neurotoxin payload has been working for me pretty well

Gunner has a ridiculous amount of ammo too so I can hold off on resupplies for a long time, shield disruption without red sugar is a pain in the ass though

yea I lost with the gunner on the second cause I couldnt juggle not wasteing too much time on getting the eggs avoiding the wave and trying not to die in general haha

well managed with sticky flames driller though

Playing the class you’re more comfortable with is the most important, and yeah if the caves are an abomination then ziplines only get you so far

I mean I say most like there is 19, I am not the biggest fan of the scout but its still fun

I wouldnt personally say haz 4 is very tough but when I farm solo with netflix on the side haz3 is the way to go, lost way to much crap for not being careful enough on haz4 already

also yea solo is a different category than with a team, I can solo EDD but havent found a group yet where EDD with 4 doesnt turn into a massive disaster lol
