Hello. Anyone having issues with not getting trophies on PlayStation? I get some of them, but others are just bugged. I completed 3 assignments but I did not get the trophy for completing 1. Depends on the situation, for just mining with occasional fodder enemies I don't put it up because the ammo is better used for swarms and objectives. I hear so many people claim that a fully upgraded turret made for ammo efficiency should be able to last for several swarms and the objective but even with saving I for objectives I still end up running out of ammo

Yeah drillers are awesome. Especially with cryo. I think when I first started , the game clicked for me when I saw a driller making a tunnel to drop pod while gunner used his shield to block passage to said tunnel from enemies.

Sprint boost being the active perk Dash, not to be confused with Second Wind passive perk which is pretty much garbage. Field Medic is another great perk if you're playing multiplayer, other very good perks are Resupplier, Thorns
pay attention to the secondary effect of the perks, for example with field medic you don't only get one instant revive per mission but it also passively reduces the time to revive someone

And you should completely ignore those that tell you what to use. Make the selections yourself and try things yourself. Otherwise you’re self eliminating large chunks of the game because some stranger on the internet said so.

The objective is explained at the very start, it tells you exactly what to do. Obviously there are some things to some.missions which arent obvious at first, however nothing a few games cant sort out or even a quick look up on google to find out the specifics. This game is not hard and does not have a huge learning curve. If you havent played a shooter or you dont play video games at all, I can understand, but no excuse for those who are level 10 blue rank

Its teaches the basics, what it doesnt let players know is how crucial those basics are. Obviously the missions dont offer an enormous step by step explanation, but how hard can it be to understand "find the areas with blue light and mine your way through". I think the only issue people have with new players is that instead of creating games for themselves to figure out how each mission works, they join other peoples games who need or want help, and instead of helping, they go down every minute and dont do objectives

The thing that annoys me with scouts is people.play it so incorrectly. You're not front line, you have the worst dps of all the characters but you have high survivability. You are not there to scout out the map ahead, theres a big ass map for that. The main things the scout should be doing is getting minerals which are high up, secondary objectives like fossils, and reviving your team

I’m going to be completely honest, I play Scout as either my zoom and boom loadout or cryo loadout. I usually play solo but when I play with friends, my usual gameplay stays the same and gets the job done. I understand how a class should be played but it gets to the point where you know the drill that you can do both killing swarms and doing all the other things.

If I had to pick one, beast, syih only applies to melee damage and you can only use the electric burst as you go down. With beast it can take aggro from mobs which makes it rather useful

On Haz 3 or lower, the Shockwave can do some noticeable work. It'll at least clean up some small stuff around you. I don't know if I've ever used the Static Discharge; it might be nice against things like Slashers?

I'm confused on how this game calculates experience. Two runs of the same map with double exp modifer, roughly the same score and bonus objectives done. One gave me 14k experience the second gave me 27k exp.

You do get XP for each unit of a mineral turned in. Since Morkite is an objective counter, it stops displaying minerals above the required amount, but they do get counted for XP purposes

In fact, a 400 Morkite Mining mission with a Double XP modifier and a Dark Morkite beer is one of the highest amounts of XP you'll see for a single mission. And if you get some random spawns, like a Machine Event or a Korlok, it's a heck of a lot

Yep, you get XP for each mineral mined (turned in). You can see the breakdown of XP on the mission summary screen

Every unit of a mineral you turn in counts for the minerals mined. Extra nitra you have leftover doesn't do anything for being left over, but it was counted when it was deposited into the Mule, so mining more Nitra than you strictly need does count

That said, if your goal is earning XP quickly, if you are done with objectives and you've made sure you didn't miss anything like a Machine Event, don't stick around just to mine extra Nitra. You'll get XP faster by finishing more missions than by making sure you scour every surface clean. But there's no need to rush if you don't want to rush, and you will get some XP for every bit turned in and every bug killed

You're always better off running more missions than running missions super thoroughly. That said, make sure you check the whole cave, because you never know where you'll find some extra event that gives a good chunk of XP, or something like a Bittergem that is good for credits and XP

I never kick from a mission (outside of extenuating circumstances) because that would be rude, and if someone is new they're still learning. Try to work with folks. But for the next run after returning to the space rig, well, variety is the spice of life. And garlic powder is the spice of Bush's Baked Beans

And yes, the flare gun is not unlimited. If they've been shooting flares and then stopped, it might be time for a supply drop

I never have things down loading while playing games like this. And I’ve got the graphics on performance. The FPS is usually about 60 when I’m by myself but then when I’m with 2 or 3 people it drops to about 40 but when there’s 4 people it drops down to 20-30 FPS

Yeah, it does give you something, but that something is so little it's not worth the work, really. So, if you by accident mined more than you should, because you bag was full when someone else deposited, you still get a lollipop and a pat on the head, but it's pocket change compared to getting out and playing another round if you measure it by time spent vs reward.

To add to todays special those are also the only beers which provide a buff and are only bought with barley bulbs

The fun beers are fixed and can be unlocked and crafted for yeast cones, malt stars and starch nuts

They are just for fun but still worth unlocking as you can get perk points the more you unlock

So the game has an issue on PSN since the last update release. 1.03. Me and my buddy were able to connect to eachother perfectly and flawlessly. Then the update came out and it forced us to jump through hoops to connect. Recently I found that moving the game from my external SSD to my systems internal SSD allows us to play together again as normal. The error qe were getting was along the lines of (signaling_timed_out-CNRA). Never had this issue until said update release

The error is a coding line. And I've noticed that storage issues between internal and external give off errors on PSN. Its as if they were programmed to pull game info from 1 storage location and having an external drive causes issues
