Always ask before double dipping the supply, mine the nitra for ammo. TK is not acceptable by Mission Control. Rock and stone back to you fellow dwarfs and most important have fun

For reference I've only done the tutorial mission

It means taking more than one resupply from the resupply pod. Generally, it is polite to only take one at time, and, if you really need more, wait until everyone has had a chance to grab a resupply and if there are any left, then it would be okay to take a second if you really need it.

Other tips:

• Use your Laser Pointer often. You can use it to identify anything you don't recognize as it'll tell you exactly what it's pointed at, and then you can mark it with the fire button for either Bosco or fellow dwarves.
• Listen to Mission Control when loading into a mission. He'll explain what your primary objective is.
• You only need to complete the primary objective to call for the drop pod to end the mission, but the secondary objective is worth a large chunk of XP and gold (much more than you can get from mining) so it's a good idea to try to complete that as well.
• When first starting out Hazard Level 2 is a good difficulty to start on. Hazard Level 3 can be good if you're looking for more of a challenge, but it can be difficult before you unlock some upgrades and perks.

Either or, honestly. The community is generally pretty good, especially if you're playing considerately (let the host press the buttons, don't double-dip, etc.). If you "Rock and Stone," mark stuff for others to find (if Engi throw a platform on a mineral deposit and mark for Scout to grab, etc.) and generally stick together so you use your tools to help the team (Scout's flare gun, Engi's platforms and turrets, Driller drill like it's your job because it is, Gunner shield and ziplines), you'll likely find a pretty welcoming group of dwarves quickly.

That said, Bosco is the best teammate you could ever ask for: does whatever you ask without talking back, picks you up as soon as you go down (provided he has revives left), and will even carry large objects for you/to you. So playing solo isn't a bad way to go.

I think the game really shines most when playing with others, though. You can use the #lfg-playstation channel to try to group up, or just join or host random players in-game 🙂

That's a horrible take😂😂 there's a lot of ps players and I've been playing for white a while now and haven't had a problem with the community. The game is also tons of fun you just gotta play to have fun and joy play to reach the top of some leader board or need a certain loot chase. Literally just have fun with the game as intended and it's great. It's not some games that just dangles a piece of content for you to chase afterwards you go in, do you're objective, get the goods and get out rock n stone style. If you need someone to play with go to an lfg. And if ur biggest complaint is it not being cross play then you shouldn't have chosen an indie company game.

Aggressive Venting burns and fears the enemies that are close to you when you overheat the gun. Hot Bullets makes the enemies you shoot burn when the gun is close to overheating

I'm not sure if people consider one better than the other. I don't really follow that stuff. Personally, I recommend taking the one that sounds more fun for you to use. They both have tradeoffs:

• Aggressive Venting will only activate if you fire the gun until it overheats, which will mean that you can't use the gun for a few moments afterwards while it cools off.
• Hot Bullets means you get a damage boost if you keep the gun near overheating without actually overheating, but that requires a bit of management to make it as effective as possible.

Some people might not want to manage Hot Bullets, and some people might want to avoid overheating and losing the use of the gun for a few moments. In my opinion, it's really down to what you prefer. I actually choose Cold As The Grave, myself, since it allows me to fire the gun for longer without overheating, especially during swarms. For me, that one is the most fun to use even if it doesn't boost damage 🙂

It breaks in stages. First stage is the left side, if you're following the drilldozer, then right side, then center. So, you go to the side that's breaking, jump up on the treads, and hold the Interact button (whatever you use to push buttons or interact with things)

Anytime it's less than 100%, yep. If a section breaks completely, it's gone for the remainder of the mission, though, since you can't repair a section after it explodes

Can't preview cosmetics as far as I know.

When you hit level 25, you'll stop gaining XP with that class. You will get a new Assignment to promote the dwarf by completing 4 missions and then visiting the terminal in back of the Memorial Hall located up the elevator in the Space Rig.

The first time you promote a dwarf unlocks the ability to use that dwarf during Deep Dives, and allows you to start Machine Events in normal missions.

Because with ps+ you can enable automatic cloud back-up - if you don't then you need to back-up the game yourself/ the saves will only be stores locally on the ps. If you have the problem that progress isn't being saved after a session it might be a problem with space on your console.

I think i found a bug, someone else confirm. When you hover the crosshair on an interactable object the camera is not supposed to slow down, right?

It doesn't slowdown when i hover over the object when moving the camera towards the left, but it does toward the right. At first i thought it was stick drift when aiming toward the right... but if i do it away from any object it doesn't slow down.

Notice how the camera slows down when it hovers over the pumpkin, when the press square shows up. I don't think that's nornal cuz it doesn't happen when i do it towards the left.

Lol. It also seems to happen when aiming up, but not when aiming down... doesn't matter how fast you do it, it drops the aim sensitivity when hovering over an interactable object in those directions.

Want someone else to test it to see if it is indeed a bug, before i report it.

It happens with any interactable object. And it also happens with every enemy. It seems to be a broken aim assist that only activates while aiming up or right, but not with down or left. They need to fix the aim assist so it works with aiming down or left also. And give a setting to turn aim assist off!

I already put a ticket on drg.pleasefix.gg, named: Aiming slowdown. If you tested the bug, go and report your reproduction of it (i don't know if this does anything though).

There's not really anything to find outside of the cave, at least not before you find a lost helmet which reveals a lost pack somewhere in the walls (purple cross-like icon)

Best thing to do is just fully explore the cave through all of the natural dig spots, or even by diffing your own

They're not secrets, they're just rare spawns

They won't be hidden, they just might not exist at all

You can get multiple of those types of things in one mission, and then not see any again for a while. It's just random luck (and fully exploring the cave)

The batteries for the crates and the helmets for the lost packs beep when close to them, but other than keeping an eye and an ear out, there's nothing special to do besides explore everywhere

Correct. There won't be entirely secret passages that generate just behind a normal wall. If there is something behind the wall, it will always be reachable by a tunnel or a dirt dig spot

Can the Thorns perk kill the little spiders when they hit me?

Yep. Thorns does more damage the higher you have it. At full strength, it will easily take out Swarmers (the smallest enemy), and can take out an injured Grunt. However, Thorns has a cooldown so it doesn't trigger every single time you get hit, so, while it will kill Swarmers, it won't take them all out before they take you out if there's a bunch of them coming after you

It didn't originally have a cooldown. It was added later to reduce how powerful it was. It would shred every Swarmer that attacked you, which kinda made Swarmers irrelevant. The cooldown got added to make Swarmers matter again

The cooldown is very noticeable if you have two Swarmers hit you in quick succession. The first will pop, and the second will get a few hits in before it also pops

You stay alive. And it works if you get health from Red Sugar, from picking up a resupply from Resupply Pod, or from the Vampire perk

Iron Will is great, but very situational. It can save a mission from failure, but it's also just taking up a slot if you never need to use it or if you can't use it effectively

You're sort of encouraged to play all the characters, because when you hit level 25 you stop gaining XP. Then you get the Promotion Assignment, and while you play the Promotion Assignment missions you can use any class you like -- meaning if you get Engineer to 25, you can play something like Gunner while doing the Promotion missions and gain XP on Gunner (instead of wasting XP by playing Engineer when Engineer is at 25)

You can, of course, have a favorite to play, but there's reasons to have all of your dwarves promoted at least once

It’s basically like Dance Dance Revolution. Each platform you stand on turns on a specific part of the tower. Shoot the green when lit up.

However, remember to stay on the platform as you do the tower. Otherwise, you’re in a bind.

There are also Balanced Overclocks and Unstable Overclocks, each of these having tradeoffs with the Unstable having the largest positive and negative effects (and sometimes signifcantly changing how the weapon functions)

All kinds, I imagine. I use a mix of what I find fun to use. With the weapon variety and the overclock variety, there's so many choices and ways to play that I imagine you'll be hard pressed to find people who use exactly the same builds unless they're following some guide.

When first starting out, though, I suspect most go for whatever they have because it can take a while to amass actual options

The sentry's special shot actually consumes more bullets than a regular shot, so factor that in. There's a small cooldown between each turret whip. Each sentry has its own cooldown

It is a good Crowd control device as the special shot has an area of effect.

The overclocks that increase the total ammo of your shotgun are particularly good for turret whips

No, there isn't a way. This server doesn't do naming and shaming, and there is no other system for anything like this

It causes glyphids to avoid walking on the platforms if there is another way for them to reach you. For example, if you make a continuous circle of platforms on the ground and stand in the center, the enemies will simply walk across to get to you. But if you leave one spot without a platform, the enemies will avoid the crossing the platforms and walk around to the opening before coming to attack.
So, you can use them to cause the bugs to travel a certain path, but there are limits
