It's one of many machine events. If you have promoted a dwarf you can activate the event by inserting a key in that white box on the top left of the photo. You can then start a timed event. If you beat the event in the given time you get to infuse an empty matrix core from the white box. (Empty matrix cores are also exclusive to promoted miners. You can get the from weekly missions and deep dives.) Each machine event has a different challenge. This particular one is called kursite infection. When the event starts special yellow infected enemies will spawn which drop kursite on death. You need to deposit the given amount of kursite in the grinder before it destabilizes. Anyway you can't really do much with it unless you're promoted at least once, so of this is all too complicated don't worry

There's 2 ways:

When the drop pod is landing...if you're fast enough, go underneath where it's landing, orientate yourself to where the ramp will be, and start jumping

You'll clip through the drop pod and into the exit zone easily

The 2nd way is a lot harder. You can attempt to keep jumping against the MULE door to no-clip into it. As long as you can no-clip in, you are counted as being inside the drop pod even though you're stuck in the roof

If you want to actually no-clip into the exit zone....I feel that's a lot harder but it is technically doable as I've done it twice ever

If you want to see the 2 ways in action:
The first way is frequently used in deep dive speedrunning. Everyone downs themselves while the scout uses this method to clip into the drop pod to head to the next stage faster. You can definitely see this in every speedrun vid
The second way is probably used more often in solo missions. But you can see how it's performed by searching up "DRG Drop Pod noclip"
