from what I know of varied media (lotr, arcanum, warcraft and warhammer) dwarves live from 250 to 750-800 years old, so I suppose some ~600 years have passed since the dwarves using real mules to their grandkids using high tech space drones in their place

Had to rush to my computer to draw this idea that I had...

Made a trawler cousin, the Nayaka Chomper. The Chomper is a bigger, fatter Trawler featuring a tubular body and a large round maw with many sharp fangs and teeth. The Chompers primarily reside in the ground and burrow around looking for something to eat. You can tell when the Chomper is nearby since it makes a faint growling and biting sound as it moves. It is totally invulnerable underground, unless it is brought up out of the ground with something like a well placed satchel charge.

When the Chomper finds a dwarf it wants to chomp on, it brings its eye stalk above ground to check to see if something there. The eye produces a faint glow, indicating the Chomper is about to strike. Shortly after the eye is raised, the Chomper jumps out of the ground, devouring anything it gets in it's mouth. If a dwarf is caught in the Chomper's mouth, it will be put into a grabbed state and dragged underground.

Chompers can be defeated easiest when the strike, and any missed attack will result in the chomper taking 3-4 seconds to retreat. This span of time gives dwarves ample enough room to dispose of the Chomper.

As a secondary form of attack, the Chomper can use it's tail fin to kick up large dust clouds that obscure a dwarf's vision. This can be a deadly combo since the light of the Chomper's eye is shrouded in the dust and the dust itself is a good indication that a Chomper is on the hunt.

Main weapon: Diamond Rail Chain Gun | close-range melee damage to enemies, can quickly mine minerals, but not terrain (ammo type/fuel are chains that wear down over time)
Secondary Weapon: Longrange sniper
Traversal Tool: Bug Suit | Can climb vertical walls, climbing uses fuel for exoskeleton suit when moving, but if stationary it does not consume fuel, larger ledge grab box
**Special: **Personal mini MULE that follows the Jeweler to allow easy depositing when in difficult-to-reach areas! (other miners may deposit, but not call the Jewelers mini MULE)
Main color is Purple to differentiate from the other dwarves
They are my baby and I love them ❤️

Thought of this dumb fun overclock concept. It's a shard defractor OC that lets you turn the beam in 360 degrees in order to hit bugs to the side while still hitting what you are aiming at. Its kinda like the spinning death OC for the breach cutter. Downsides being less ammo, inabillity to move while shooting, discharging the full battery, and a large burst of knockback that occurs when the battery is discharged. This can just send you flying off a cliff or something but it could also be used to clear gaps in a dumb way

maybe it could grant a damage boost aswell

Overclock concept for the LMG platform. I know it would probably never happen, but its just a fun thought. It is an unstable that makes the sentry that of hyper propellant. This OC would Boost damage aswell as make the sentry prioritize weakspot shots and avoid armor on things like praetorians and opressors. The downsides being that the default reserve ammo and magizine are extremely small in comparison to the base sentry, a lower rate of fire, making the gun fire every 3-4 seconds or something, and the spotlight on the gun is more narrow, making it so that the gun doesn't illuminate caves as well as the base gun.
