the detail of a bloodied praetorian leg is a nice one, and it matches the hole in the gunner's armor in size which is a detail many artists would miss

This is the concept idea I have for a long story comic for DRG that I've talked about a few times to people here. Unfortunately with how busy I am, it will just remain a concept.

A little background is that it would involve the 4 of my "oc dwarves" that have been introduced.

The crew would, due to a drop pod malfunction, end up plunging deep into Hoxxes; into an area only one of them has been to before: The Whispering Abyss (placeholder).

I have thought out a lot of ideas for it, including heavy character exposition and their relationships with one another, a boss monster, special features of the zone (namely the unique build of the cave by which the wind 'whispers'), etc.

It's all fun to think up but a whole different story trying to illustrate. But here you go 😄

based on the size of their bodies and features, wardens are more comparable to grunts, just with the big bit on their back like how exploders also carry a big chunk of whatever on their backs. Dreadnaughts relate heavily to wardens with all the same abilities

theres actually a pretty specific reason why i made the warden a part of N. princeps as opposed to X. miles

my personal "head canon" is that the different dreadnoughts are so different because they stem from two different bugs
