Legit a pet update would be awesome, it would allow for more build customization, like the loot if could buff amounts of minerals you mine or locate them, glyphid pets could behave like an upgradable Steeve, and the robot dogs could be used for utility, like carrying minerals by “fetching” them, or they could locate secondary objective items. I imagine these pets abilities would have large cooldowns, but would add a larger customization to the game and make your build feel more unique. And yes, cosmetics on these theoretical pets would be awesome.

I have 2 high ends printer and a mid range one, but in the end it really comes down to preparing the 3d print in a lot of different parts that will all print in the best position and will really click in place

for example, the cluster grenade is 38 parts, while being a very simple print.

you can use food safe epoxy to render it "mostly" food safe.

it's not optimal, but it will prevent bacteria from building up in every crevices on a 3d printed model.
Epoxy is used in kitchen and some objects that have contact with food, but they usually aren't used to store food/beverages.
also, it is good to know that this should be done in a very clean way to avoid any contamination of the epoxy, so it's not really for the amateur, although anyone is free to try but you want to do some more researches before attempting it.
As for myself, as a professional I refuse to provide any items that could endanger people's life in any ways, so I don't offer that option or any object meant to be used with food or beverages.
