Yeah, you need a little money for a 3d printer and learn how to use modelling software. It takes a while.

there's printing on demand, but it will cost you more than a machine really quickly

people, myself included usually charge for 1-2€/h of printing + material. the PGL took about 100h of printing and 2 full spools ^^

Yes, the hinge is there and covered by the two circle boxes, I planned to put a real hinge with ball bearings there, but it made the handle way too weak to handle all the weight of the barrel.
plus, there's the locking mechanism on top that needs to be completely redone to open/close, and the tube that goes from the end of the barrel to the top of the handle.

I would like to see the possibility of weapons with more traversal possibilities. Idea: Gunner gets a Plasma Engine. Plasma engines work in real life by generating enough heat on a single point using microwaves to generate a plasma, which is then electrically ignited, which heats the air, causing it to expand, generating thrust. What if we had a gunner plasma jet gun with two modes? Laminar mode collimates the plasma into a shorter range, extremely fine beam of pure death, and the other mode does little damage, but widens the jet, and enables greater mobility as say, an extra jump, or a boost in a direction? Similar to how Drillers Experimental blaster works.

its able to lift rocks similar to the Heartstone, and even able to lift and launch all the grunt typs at the players, it can only walk on the ceiling, making it relatively hard to shoot its weak spot, the brain, but if you do manage to shoot its over sized brain it should only take 1 or 2 shots to send it falling to its death

it also passively slobbers saliva onto the floor below, if a dwarf happens to step in this icky substance they will do increased damage to their fellow miners, as well as having a hard time aiming away from its comrades

Honestly, 10% more ammo sounds very underwhelming and barely noticeable

For something like the PGL that's literally one extra grenade

Not to mention that the ammo economy so far is very lean and self-contained mechanics-wise. It's just weapon mods and nitra, that's everything that factors into how much ammo you've got. Adding beer into the mix looks like a slippery slope tbh

remember that dwarves carry not only a PGL, so 10% on most weapons is a noticable difference, plus even if it was more it would then completely overpower all other buff beers.

Once inside the nest, a large open cavern, the spider will get up and scuttle around the cavern staying away from the miners, if it is bothered, then it will attack, 1st by running up to the dwarves and attacking them directly, 2nd if it takes any damage it will move away and resort to ranged attacks like sending out its royal guard, its younglings would not be used as attackers but they would scuttle around their mother’s legs and attack once u get close, if u kill these hatchlings the mother will become more and more aggressive, resorting to bull charging u, swiping u with its massive legs, 3rd after a certain amount of damage is dealt it will solely use ranged attacks unless its hatchlings have been killed, this negates the effect and it will still be highly aggressive, and will summon a royal guard of larger more armoured versions of its self to attack u directly

DRG rough concept drawing underwater caves would have you have a swim suit and mine gravel blocking water passages but breaking it so enough water to flow out of the cave would draw in the locals and would decrease water levels so more enemies could come in of the typical sort otherwise they will be more aquatic

Hey all - I make Dungeons and Dragons items with my bud (under the moniker Dungeon Strugglers) and once I started playing Deep Rock Galactic I felt I needed to make something ... for Karl :)

Essentially the item allows you to "mine" stone enemies for precious gems & minerals determined by a d20, and cast the 'flesh to stone' spell every long rest. Some people on reddit mentioned the DRG sub and it made me want to post in here as well!

Hey Lad's. The idea is quite simple. You can find lost barrels on missions. These will provide unique effects and they will stack on-top of existing beers you drank before heading down to hoxxes.

There is a lot of room for unique beer ideas or for expanding the idea further. Let me know what you think :3

They are random like machine events, single use only, so you have to pick your poison wisely.
Or perhaps to combat what @pulsar narwhal said about potential OP brews, that the brews from the dispenser wear off after a few minutes, and take a risk if you'd want to go back for more mid mission. but then again they'd have to be pretty worth it to go back for one.
Even still it could be exploited, somehow.

@atomic valve The brew ideas are basically just there to support the general idea of mid-mission beers. Pretty much like shrines or buffs you could find in Diablo games. What i wanted is something unique that is worth the time exploring a cave , maybe before rushing down to a objective. And something that adds a little fun and feels rewading other than giving the player cosmetics or items in general.
