So within about 2 seconds of being in the Azure Weald I had to turn off all my UI (love that there are presets btw) and just scout around a bit. Such an amazing biome, suuuper chill. I then discovered the Minimal UI setting and I'm somehow even more deeply in love with DRG. Seriously cannot reccomend trying out minimal UI setting more, it really is something special.

Also pretty sure my Hive guard fight went on for about a half hour I kept missing IFGs and shooting the crystals on it's back solo with the M1 was a nightmare because head on its legs block em perfectly. Definitely cool bosses tho, the tweaks to the vanilla Dread are good too! They're all nightmare fuel now

On Xbox I am still having an Audio bug (that started Update 32) during an Eliminator & Salvage Operation. After the Primary Objective Completion is completed and Mission Control talks about with the message on screen, the music goes down for the speach but the message does not go away and the low music stays until the end of the mission. My co-op buddy on Xbox has the same issue too.

The Windows Store (Game Pass) version is a different build from the Steam version. Some functionality is a bit different between these versions. However, with the exception of Unions and Steam-specific cosmetics, both versions have the same content

Yeah tbh it would be amazing if we could use the D Pad to navigate menus, just be a lot snappier. Trying to use a cursor kind of set up with the controller can be very frustrating when you're trying to go up/down by 1 or 2 on sensitivity for example, but thankfully I've got everything set up already.

It's a bit of a pain, but if you have a USB mouse lying around you can plug that in to the Xbox and use that to get your settings set up a bit more precisely. The game supports KB+M after all so it's a handy work around

New Miner here, I'm having hell of a time getting Voice chat to work in game on Windows. There a pin or thread for troubleshooting? Have an Arctis 5 headset and works on literally every other voice platform except DRG.. 😦

In-game voice chat has been a bit odd in the past. I'm not sure if the recent update improved anything, but previously as a PC player I've been unable to hear folks who are playing on Xbox using the in-game voice chat. I've mostly used Xbox Party Chat, which works as well as can be hoped.

As far as getting the headset to work in-game, I've not spent much time on that, but I can say I have the same headset and it "just worked" in Deep Rock. My friends and I actually had to deny Deep Rock from using our headsets, because when using Party Chat other folks on PC who were in the party would hear me twice and I would hear them twice

Game pass discount is free, I highly doubt they’ll make it free tbh

Even while still on Game Pass, titles are available to purchase at a Game Pass discount, I think typically 10%. This is because titles don't tend to stay on Game Pass indefinitely. I haven't checked, but I the 10% discount might even apply to DLC, at least on some titles

I'm on PC, but I have friend on Xbox. From time to time we both have the issue where we cannot invite and cannot join. We just exit the game and then restart, and it usually works on the first try after relaunching. If ever it doesn't, we reboot our systems and try again, and that has always worked. Make sure you wait until you're loading all the way into the game and able to run around the space rig before attempting to invite or join

We've found that whenever we've been playing for more than a mission or two, it will often not allow friends to join on us, and it will not let us send invites. The exit and relaunch has always fixed it for us. And once you're joined, as long as no one crashes the group will stay together once together

It's not consistent in when it stops letting invites or joining, sometimes we never have any problems, but when we do we're always fine after exit and relaunch (with the reboot rarely necessary)

The machine event? Basically each platform will expose a green light on one of the totems after you stand on them for a while. Then you wanna shoot the green lights that appear on the corresponding totem, while not dying to the explosive drones, MG turret and breach cutter there's videos on YT if you wanna get more tips on em. Probably the hardest machine event tbh

Tritilyte always spawns a lot of bugs, and sometimes you really need to build a lot of stuff to get a viable path back to the deposit from the bomb dispenser. Like, say, the bomb pod spawns 80m below the deposit but the deposit is on an overhang so you can't platform up a wall

The thing that hasn't felt good for me when experimenting with streaming is input lag. It's better than I expected it to be with some of the services like Xcloud or GeForce Now, and you can certainly adjust to it, but that's been the thing that feels just a little off about it. Especially over 2.4ghz wifi even if it's local streaming

I got a problem with my win10 version of the game on xbox, I got the game through gamepass. I got an issue where the game just won't launch no matter what i do or how many times I try to reinstall the game.
The game doesn't launch at all.

I tried to look up for a solution, but nothing helped. Is there anyone who might be able to help me or someone who had the same issue and made the game work?

I tried it with firewall on and off, made an exception for the game, but nothing. All drivers are updated.
The game "starts" for a second, I can see it in the task manager for 2-3 seconds and then it dissapears. I might just go any by the game on steam... it must be something small but it drives me crazy.

Otherwise, best bet is a laptop, probably. A bit more expensive and a bit larger than a Series S, but it'd have a build in screen. You get one of those that converts into a tablet with the screen opened all the way and it wouldn't take up too much space

Never mind I found it. Danish is largely mutually intelligible with Norwegian and Swedish.
