Best thing you can do when dorettas pathfinding screws up is to screenshot the esc menu and mention if you or a teammate drilled ahead of her to unexplored sections of the cave.

Holy shit I found a fix. Since I use linux as my daily driver the time is always out of sync. So if I sync my time and restart the computer it is all fixed the multiplayer works. THIS IS SO WERID and does not happen with any other game. BUT at least it works

Hey, so Im on the Windows store version of the game and multiplayer is STILL BROKEN! Whenever i attempt to join a friend, it just opens a new instance of DRG and puts me in a solo lobby. The ONLY way I've been able to get people to join me is by searching my name in the server browser
It's to the point where I've stopped playing one of my fav games, DRG, because it puts so many barriers between just playing the game...
Anyone had this happen? Maybe know what to do?

random trouble shooting question. I am trying to connect to a bluetooth speaker and the opening loading screen has volume but then as soon as I load in there is no sound for anything in the droppod or if I join a mission
and it breaks all the other volume as well haha can't hear a youtube video or anything until I quit the game

It happens with my headset too sometimes just plugging it in my controller crashes the game
From what I noticed that bugged was introduced with update 32 I haven't used my headset since because it just stops working mid session

The problem with that is certification through microsoft for all patches for xbox games
They have to spend a few days testing any patch on their end to make sure it doesnt introduce more bugs or whatever
Im sure a fix has already been made and sent out and its up to microsoft to clear it and make it live

@halcyon remnant Check the system time. If the time is not correct, missions can show up differently and Assignments might not show up at all. And if the system time is not correct, it can prevent multiplayer connections in some games

Both you and your friend should exit DRG completely, and then restart within a few minutes of each other. Wait until you're loaded all the way into the game and can run around the space rig before trying to invite/join. If that doesn't work, you can try rebooting the PC and the Xbox, and then try again.
This method reliably works for me and my friends whenever we have joining issues

Cave generation can sometimes hide objects, yeah, but legs have a glow and a visible sphere around them, so it'd have to be significantly buried. Sometimes they can spawn quite far vertically from the closest mule, and if it hasn't been dug loose it won't show up on the terrain scanner. It doesn't do much good being there if it can't be found

I've been running into this issue where if my controller turns off or I disconnect my headset, when I get reconnected the audio becomes messed up. There will be a constant static sound and all in-game sounds get distorted by the static. I can only fix it by restarting the game. I also put this in the bug discussion channel.

Everyone needs to wait until they're fully loaded into the space rig to join or invite, but that should do it. Works every time we try it
Once you're all in together it should stay working for your entire play session unless someone tries to join later, then you might need to do the everyone restart again

I only say this because I have a few in mind for each class on their utility tools from unstable to clean
lets start with the drillers drills from unstable OC, is called microboom and everytime you drill it explodes in small amounts causing damage to you, but you drill a little slower or faster, now on to engineers turret and overclock called sticky turret that is balanced you can stick it to anything but lower ammo count also unstable overclock and shoots explosive rounds but lower ammo count, now gunners zipline, unstable OC goes fast up and down and it randomly disconnects you from the zipline, clean OC more ammo on zipline, scouts grapple hook unstable zoom fast but it causes damage while you use it, Clean OC faster recharge.

That zipline idea sounds horrible sorry, especially for higher Haz levels and the engineer turret being able to be placed in any surface would be tricky as the whole point of it being leveled is to make it easy to resupply it

I gotta say the same for scouts grapple gun unclean OC idea. Defeats the purpose of a few upgrades on it should that be slapped on. Plus, the Obercharged Winch can hurt enough as it is.

I don't know about native macos support, but I do know it is capable of running if you dual boot into linux and use proton. As for the new macs with the M1 chips, those are ARM based. It's a complete crapshoot if it'll work. Apple has their own software to emulate x86 and x64 based software on arm in macos. It's frankly a mess and I wouldn't count on drg even running on proton on those processors for a while.
Although I don't see any issues using geforce now on those new macs.

I have completed over 10 deep dives, but my achievement progress has been stuck at 80% for weeks for the complete 5 deep dives achievement. Does anyone know if there is a fix?

Got both the DD and EDD done last night one go each. Driller and engi combo. It was funnnnn.
DD took 35 mins and the EDD took 1:28. I had to iron will at one point and it saved our asses but my bro came out strong on the revive.

You need to have Blank Matrix Cores to get rewards from the Machine Events. You can get Blank Matrix Cores from the Weekly Core Assignment and from doing the Deep Dives. The first stage of each Deep Dive will give one Blank Matrix Core each, as will the first mission in the Weekly Core Assignment. In general, you can earn three Blank Matrix Cores each week this way
Even if you do not have any Blank Matrix Cores, Machine Events still provide additional XP, so it's worth it to at least start them. The XP is earned regardless of whether or not you complete the event

you can hop in a VC and recuit players
and duo missions are also awesome. Engi-Scout and Gunner-Driller make good duo teams.

The in-game matchmaking is great, find a group with your assignment or with fun modifiers and you'll have a fine time playing

If you don't mind playing haz 3/ standard deep dive, yeah the server browser is fine. It gets a little rough if you're trying to play haz 4+ or EDD.
Sometimes you get a good group, sometimes you get lvl 4 gunner who didn't the hazard level. And sometimes you get a good group, but you run into a situation that's hard to deal with without voice chat ¯_(ツ)_/¯

my opinion of pub even at haz 3 is pretty sour, id say i get kicked from about 35-40% of the games i join, usually at the beginning but sometimes its halfway in and that just absolutely sours my experience of pubs
ive joined a game where both players were downed and i was the only one alive, being chased by a golden detonator, and i killed the detonator, and revived them, and i got kicked for killing the detonator
like when i joined, i was the only one up (for clarification)
i've joined a game and i had mined close to 150 nitra and around 200 gold, and i was kicked before we finished the primary for "sorry i have my reasons"
I've had a game where the team's driller kept spam-calling molly, keeping me from turning in 4 gunk seeds, and i couldn't get it in the mule right in front of me. The driller saw i was interrupting his call and decides to drop and blow 2 charges on me.
so, i did what any sane person does, waited for an ally to pick me up, and gunned him down, then spam laser pointed at his body
