Dark Future as a skin seems pretty inconsistent to how it applies colors to masks- and in some cases monochromatic blows it out of the water with how it causes items to glow. I know it won't happen but it would be nice if the glowing on Dark future was expanded/changed to be brighter
I've got an idea for a new bug, I'm thinking an incredibly powerful bug that is watching over its young like a mother, it is not directly hostile but will not tolerate anything getting close to the babies. I'm thinking a mantis-like creature with slasher arms that would do quick swipes to keep things from getting close but would not give chase. If anything actually managed to hurt/kill one of the babies though? Imagine a witch from left 4 dead, screams at you and then charges into the fray, maybe not an instant kill but would be very close to one. It could also attack glyphids that get close as it is not part of the glyphid family. I'm thinking it could spawn either in pre-determined nests upon cave generation or in the random spawn pool as wandering around with the kids following behind like ducklings following their mom but much more horrifying because its a bloody car sized mantis.

When you deposit the Yuletide Elf into Molly, there’s a small chance that when you deposit again, that you’ll hear knocking sounds coming from the mule, and someone yelling “Hey!” “Hello!” “Helloooo!”

For the Halloween event they should have floating Mission Control heads around hoxxes and if you catch one you get double performance points
3 distinct hit sounds for when the bullet hits the:
- armour
- normal "skin"
- week spot
This would help people intuitively learn quicker to hit the right spots and also recognise how often they hit armour (to aid in the decision if they need to choose armour piercing in their build).
It seems like at least the scout has sound for when he shoots week spots with his SMG and in this old DRG trailer (https://youtu.be/RwlwtZM6HhM?t=503 (8:23)) the gunner seems to have the sound for when he hits armour. That was really nice.

Mission idea: Rescue Mission, your team is sent into a cave to recover a team of greenbeards. Your team has to fight their way to the greenbeards and safely escort them to a new drop pod location. The greenbeards can die along the way and you get a higher level payout the more dwarves you safely escort. Also, if any greenbeards die, you have to carry their dead bodies back to the new drop pod location or suffer a major reward penalty. Also having the side mission of helping them complete their mission might be interesting.
rare event: when calling for the drop pod, after a few moments MC will announce that there has been a technical difficulty and that the drop pod will arrive late. the bug spawns will be bumped up as normal and we'll have to survive for like 3-4 minutes, to help us, MC will send 1 supply pod with a unique label at a random location, instead of ammo, opening the supply pod will pop out an ai controlled lloyd armed with guns and rockets. when the timer is up the drop pod will come down along with the timer as normal. bonus xp per player that survived the event

For April fools the dwarfs and mission control should switch places having mission control as a playable character and having the dwarfs talk to you as mission control during missions(of course they would likely say the opposite of what the mission control guy might say as well as make fun of mission control in the process)
Strike the earth shout line
Forgot to add this earlier, it could be a lithophage gun, which applies an effect that slows down bugs, decreases armor/body damage but increases weakpoint/melee(ebonite is also a rock plague) damage as the effect intensifies, and instead of catching on fire/freezing, when the effect reaches the max it would temporarily turn them solid and make them invincible, but would do massive damage and reset the effect soon after,
give bosco the ability to repair mini mules, uplinks, fuel cells, rock crackers, and sentries as well as the ability to carry elves and nanite bombs
Give us the option to separate weapon loadouts from cosmetic loadouts. I'd like to be able to mix it up and use a different build on certain cosmetic loadouts, without having to redesign them entirely.
Instead of boring "Hacking is noisy and attracts bugs" make it trip an alarm and awaken security spiderbots.
Give the first ammo buff to the base engineer AI gun so that I don't run out of ammo twice as fast as all my teammates, even when running an ammo build.
As a nice little toutch, i think that it would be nice if we could custimise our traversal tools with the paint jobs we have for our dwarves. I believe it would add another toutch of personality to our dwarves.

itd be nice if pipe grinding had a bit more control, like, the ability to hold back to skid to a stop without having to jump off, or holding forward to put more speed into a downwards slope

Engineer Auto-aim overclock suggestion, make it so whatever target is locked on, nearby turrets also fire on the target with the same amount of locks in a rapid burst, maybe less locks or direct damage as a penalty, not sure about downsides but having an overclock for LOK-1 that interacts with turrets would be really nice, like a target painter

I think it’d be nice to be able to choose a special beer for always 5 of every beer-crafting material (starch nut, barley, etc.), but the rotation can stay as a random discount.
It seems a little silly to have to reset until you get what you want (like RRB for an EDD) or to just accept that the game wants to give you something extremely situational like backbreakers
Hitting Molly with your pickaxe power attack should make her move a little bit faster for a few seconds
That way there’s more of a reason to follow her during evac, which I think would be much more fun/interactive than driller-tunneling every game
And if there’s a scout behind the rest of the team, that would allow him to catch up much faster with Molly.

I don’t see anyone use the Breach Cutter much anymore ever since the Shard Diffractor was added.
Perhaps the Breach Cutter should have a Mod like scouts plasma rifle has, that allows it to electrocute enemies, instead of needing to use an entire Overclock that doesn’t really do much.
I’m thinking it could be a T4 Mod, with Armor Breaking and Stun.
Additionally, the High Voltage Crossover overclock (which currently grants electrocution but -1 mag capacity) could then give bonus electric damage, like the Stubby, instead of electrocution
This would allow more electric builds to be legitimately viable, especially against the Rivals (instead of just heat).
New biome idea:
Something similar to rotten vale from monster hunter world. A deep and dark part of hoxxes filled with skeletons and decay.
-The horror aspect of DRG is one that could be expanded upon in future seasons. I think a glyphid feeding ground full of dead creatures and bottom feeders would be a unique location to fit that atmosphere.
- generated objects could include giant skeletons and creature skulls, maybe even giant rib cages along the roof of certain caves implying this tunnel only exists because it was once the inside of a giant beast.
- similar to the sandstorms and blizzards, a thick darkness could set in occasionally, muffling the sounds of glyphids and building tension.
- unique monsters could include "sprinter" glyphids, which would crawl at normal speeds until they get within a certain distance, and then charge and pounce on you. Would really benefit from the darkness setting in.
- of course this is still deeprock so i dont think it would need to take itself too seriously or make it feel like youre playing a horror game, just some more suspensful mechanics could give the whole "exploration" part of the game more depth

I just think the more words you can add to that generator the better, so i really like the idea of maybe every major update to the game bringing new mission title options, it'd be nice to see

Vertically mounted turrets
Suggest: New type of missions type. "Checkpoint Control" missions with more liniar caves where you have to destroy and hack checkpoints of the rival company. Maps with 3-4-5 checkpoints, where you have to kill drones, turrets, snipers, etc... And after you destroy the defence you start hack something to steal data cubes, and after you clear one checkpoint, you can advance to the 2nd checkpoint and so on.
Checkpoints being like some mini bases with mini bosses to hack or kill to get some data from them.
Glyphid Queen - Boss Fight.
She's guarded by 2 baby dreadnaughts (half hp ) she is invulnerable till both are dead.
her guards do not respawn.
So effectively Phase 1 kill 2 half dreadnaughts. Phase 2 Fight the queen and whittle away her hp while dodgeing and killing the waves she throws at you. Wave 1 swarmers, wave 2 glyphids. final wave elite oppressor?
Really feel like yuletid elfs should double MISSION XP, and not just PERFORMANCE XP, it feels so... useless... to people that already reached level 100 of the season =/

Crassus Detonator right now explodes all over the place and making a need for mining the gold. But how about instead the gold veins spawned are smaller but the Crassus drops 3 or so compressed gold? Sorta like the Korlock. So that dwarves can ping "We're Rich" and save the tedium of mining all the gold for some all whilst keeping the feeling of being incredibly rich.
Add an eyewear slot to our wardrobe or move some of the eyewear cosmetics over to the sideburn slot. Our dwarves must look equally fashionable in their conditioner use as with covering a black eye after a scuffle with an elf. This one has been asked for quite often already, but the more outfit options the better!
Add crab rangoon to the abyss bar
To elaborate, you currently put turrets on the floor, but, I think turrets on the walls and ceilings would be cool.
Add a secret event boss that only spawns when you put everything in the drop pod landing zone and its literally management coming down to kick your butt personally as they are tired of your shenanigans.. Rewards you nothing but a trip to the infirmary.

Make a small chance of summoning a swarm by pointer spamming. With mission control saying something like "Looks like a glyphid swarm wants to celebrate with you. Get ready." or "You seem to alert every bug in the cave with your screams. A swarm is moving towards you.".
Giving hosts the ability to not allow duplication for deep dives would be beneficial. Currently, you can only prevent late join duplication, which can't be done for deep dives since obviously you can't join deep dives late.

A relatively minor change;
For both the "Yuletide Elf" and armour framework, the lights attached to the framework should glow in the corresponding class colour rather than the current generic yellow they glow with.
This armour framework is the only one to not show any class colours whatsoever, which is in stark contrast to every other framework, which at least makes some attempt to use the class colour as an accent. Class-colour identification seems to be a consistent design choice throughout the years, and having a framework that completely goes against this is very out of place.
The color of the present in the yuletide elf armor should reflect the class color: blue gift wrap for scout, yellow for driller, etc.
For next events, could we please get paintovers of Mission Control in various costumes? (Summer - Sunglasses, Halloween - Some mask, Yuletide - Santa hat etc)
Buff Lures to be on par with other engi grenades in terms of damage. Make them zap bugs that attack them like a bug zapping lamp
What if after level 100 in the performance pass, the rewards would alternate between 500 credits on even levels, and something like 50 random minerals or 200 XP on odd levels?

I think it's time the lobby description was editable from the mission map. So many people ask where the option is and quite honestly it's rather hidden
When reloading the Nishanka Boltshark X-80, the camera movements prevent you from using the Radio Transmitter Module upgrade to pull back your bolt as quickly, and since the glow is a bit weak it can be hard to find it later to retrieve.
I would like to request either the camera movements on reload are removed or don't affect your ability to call over your bolts, or alternatively making missed bolts easier to find (ex: improving the glow) would fix the issue as well without interfering with the balance of how quickly you can retrieve it after missing.
A gun range in the space rig to test weapon loadouts

I had an idea for Bosco interactions in Salvage, you could ping uplinks/hacking pods to have him focus on providing a signal, acting as if there was a 2nd player boosting the signal (naturally, he wouldnt be able to shoot while doing this)
If the solo player leaves the marked zone, Bosco instead slows the rate at which the bar drops instead of it keeping on
I just had a fun idea: If the jukebox is playing and someone throws a snowball at it, it should make a needle scratching sound or something like it, probably from something like the Viscera Cleanup Detail. Can't help but imagine it doing that every time a snowball is thrown at it.
Give the Subata another T5 mod
It only has bonus Fire damage and bonus Corrosive damage.
Both are basically useless if you use Cryo Cannon.

it makes me incredibly sad that on solo missions i have to leave bosco to certain death in hoxxes' harsh environment.
could there be an option where if you ping the drop pod with your marker tool bosco will go and sit inside?
or maybe simply having it so that if bosco is close enough to the drop pod when you board it, he'll go inside as well? this one would have the added benefit of having a shadow of that 'leave no dwarf behind'
since it'd be sorta like you need to slow down and wait to allow bosco time to board with you
there are probably ways to go about it that i haven't considered, but these are the two i thought of
May we please be able to change the armor pigment on the elf outfit? And use its colors on other armors? I love the look and would love to mix and match it.

New voice lines for the vampire perk. Currently when vampire activates you hear the voice lines for red sugar. This really makes no sense all things considered.

More music. The game is so fun - it lends itself to playing it for hundreds of hours, I would love to hear a few more songs thrown in if that isn't asking a lot.
daily assignments?
Going off of the idea for daily assingments, what about like a daily random mission gamble (allow me to explain in more detail).
Once I'm done with all of my assignments and with the battle-pass there's less incentive to play for a while. I think daily assignments are a cool idea, but could become stale due to having too many "do this mission" kind of assignments. What if instead you could do like a "gamble" on a mission that could yield extra minerals or credits:
- So Management is like the House and you're making a bet with them saying you can do this mission and you put X amount of cred/mineral down and if you complete the mission Management will match what you offered, but if you fail you lose it.
- You can only offer up to a certain amount of cred/mineral dependent on the difficulty of the mission as well as the mission modifiers.
- You can only do this bet 2 or 3 times a day.
I could see this spicing up the game for a reason to jump in every now and then, but it could also help with mineral procurement for upgrades and cosmetics. Like I'm always out of Endor Pearls when I need them, so if I bet all of what I had for a chance to double it then I would find that really fun and satisfying. However, if I lost, it would suck but that's what I get for choosing to "gamble" with Management. Thoughts?
Please, please, PLEASE add an option to give the host control over ending missions. Allow team members to press the mule/minehead button, but allow for the host to approve/disapprove the call to exit. I played three games in a row today that were all ended prematurely by a different random person who had joined. In one we even had a bittergem mined but not yet deposited when somebody called for the drop pod. 😦
Also please add a UI or Chat notice for who pushes buttons, similar to the resupply notification. I'd like to know who to block from future games, even if it's impossible to kick somebody for spoiling a game by pressing buttons early.
What started as a pretty good time of DRG today ended up pretty sour because of this, and it's something that I'm running into more and more frequently.

this one's kinda silly, but i really like the idea of beast master making lootbugs spit out their minerals when you pet them
i don't actually think it'd have any meaningful gameplay implications, but it sounds fun, and you could get your minerals without the crushing guilt of killing a lootbug
Forge Mastery shouldn't just grant blank matrix cores, but should also grant existing cosmetics that arent unlocked

A way to show off your pickaxe. Like hold down v and you keep your pick above your head for others to see. Its too hard to show friends my pickaxe in space station when we are comparing drip
New voicelines from Mission Control for when the extraction timer runs out on Deep Dives: Currently things like "3..2..1.. Returning to Orbit" are said, in contrast to all the other unique dialogue.
Some ideas:
"Moving on team: You had best catch up!"
"We have a schedule to keep! Pod's going to the next stage."
"The droppod was only booked for a 5 minute window - Sorry. Anyway I'm sure we'll see you in the next cave."
instead of length 2, industrial sabotage should be displayed as a length 5 mission so it's less misleading, like so:

Collecting extra of primary and secondary objectives giving additional pay for going above the minimum requirement. An example of this could be the Payday franchise, where certain missions have a minimum amount of loot you need to grab (Bank heists for example have a 1 bag minimum or something) while giving you the option to go wild and grab more loot for additional pay. Risk VS Reward and all that. I'm sure Management wouldn't say no to getting more than they expected from an expedition as well, saving money on fuel sending drop pods.
I'm pretty sure someone's suggested this already, but anyway.
A warning with at least 2x amount of bugs, better randomly from 2x to 5x bugs, and 40-50 nitra resupply cost for this warning. I know there are mods for this, but it's much harder to find a party for modded game.
Or add hazard 6 and hazard 7 difficulties. hz6 is current hz4 but 2.5x bugs 40-50 nitra resupply, and hz7 current hz5 2.5x bugs 40-50 nitra resupply.
Holding E on a tamed glyphid removes the tamed status and gives them a very strong fear effect for about 2 minutes
I just thought it would be the best solution to the steeve guilt problem like its so good tho

Save the Squishies T-shirt armor.
This is an idea that kinda overhauls the whole beer system unfortunately, so it probably wont be considered, but having the craft beers give different effects in mission would be great! Like maybe one makes your pickaxe attack faster for the downside of drunkness, the stronger the beer the better the effect! So you'd have to pick a couple beers as to not pass out and lose all of them while also considering the drunkness effects that could also be overhauled to make you have less shield, less accuracy, less damage, less health. I think it'd be a fun system, and would make collecting beer parts a lot more rewarding for players, especially solo only players who don't care for the wacky social cosmetic effects of the beer.
Maybe a spot in the station with a lootbug in a pen you can pay credits to feed like Lloyd's tip system.

Add a shoting range 
A pvp mission type that involves two teams of players (drg vs rival corp) with different game mode types such as...
- elimination ( last dwarf standing! )
- king of the hill ( reclaim a lost resource pile by holding it a set time or longest)
- capture the flag ( steal the enemies valuable gold chunks!)
- payload (guide dorreta to a destination while rival corp tries to stop you!)
-many more I haven't come up with.
- Guns would be the same both sides and altered to be balanced on each team, maybe even pick up and droppable like our lithofoamers and vacuums. Think of halo pvp or TF2 but in drg! Open for ideas. Rock and Stone!
Add lights you can put down to mark caves like a flag you stick into the ground but change the flag with a glowstick basically a pole with a glowstick at the top end.
Limit of 5-10 so people cant just mark everything

aight so, people have been suggesting a shooting range for a while, but i got an idea on how they might be able to make a shooting range possible
what if the shooting range was basically a second drop pod, in that it takes you to a new location away from the space rig
well, in lore it'd just take you to another part of the space rig, but gameplay wise it'd basically just be taking you down to the planet's surface
the difference between the shooting range and the planet though is that the range would only have a single room to pull from, and therefore it wouldn't ever be generated differently, and there is no objective, so you can just return whenever you want
as someone with no experience in game development, i have no idea if this would actually be able to function in-game, i'm sure there are a million different game development problems that could come with this, but it sounds like it could work to my dumb little dumb small dumb brain
is an in-lore explanation really the huge deal about a shooting range in drg? why not just explain that it's in vr
I personally think it would be fun if on the Space Rig there was a Door to Mission Control, Locked of course but you have a Option to Knock on it, and I think we all would know what would happen if you spam knocking on that door. Mission control would complain. As a little addition to all the Insiders when annoying Mission Control
Lok-1 aim assist should also help with getting blowthrough and weakpoints(im thinking bulks especially), different OCs like executioner and eraser could change it by focusing more on weakpoints/blowthrough(and reducing the other), and explosive chemical rounds could also change smart targetting to max the amount of ammo per bug at 3-4(or explosive chemical rounds could trigger every 3 shots per bug, not every 3 shots, but if a praetorien had 6 shots it would explode twice). Some of the changes are pretty significant, but at the very least I have found significant difficulty trying to shoot bugs through a tunnel and getting blowthrough or trying to use executioner on bulks.

A few random ideas:
If we were to ever get a 5th dwarf have it be female but still have the same cosmetics (beard, mustache, etc). Could have a utility tool (4) that she puts on the ground to heal team or something as a buff station. Mobility tool (3) could be some form of climbing gear to climb vertical or hang on the wall.
Also a grenade idea could be a sonic grenade (probably driller) that sticks to an enemy and pulsates/does damage. Secondary use could be if it sticks to a vein of minerals it vibrates and bursts the whole vein (would be great on crassus detonator gold)
Upgrade to molly like bosco. A vacuum mode where she grabs materials she walks over. Maybe a mode setting for follow, hold position, go to pinged location, etc. Make her into a mini Bet-c or something

Title: nerfing the axe makes the game NOT FUN
Theory: Bugs determins the difficulty of the game; interaction with the surroundings determins the extent of fun. Nerfing the damage(to things) of the axe makes the playthrough more annoying, which you have to repeat throw-throw-throw-throw-throw-throw-throw-pickup-pickup-pickup-pickup-pickup-pickup-pickup just to break a electrocrystal. Another instance is the pink vines, when retracted it's impossible to deal damage to them. Drillers ought to have the power to change the environment. Overall it's unfun to tweak like this.
Suggestion: I don't care about the impact area, just rollback the damage.
Title 2: big jellyfish too hard to freeze for Bosco
Theory: Bosco needs 3 rocket shots to freeze it, crazy. It's too ammo-consuming to kill a big jellyfish, espicially you often find them in big rooms and Engi & Driller has no long range weapon while you have to deal with infinite small jellyfish. This is difficult some time.
Solution: make Bosco's cryorocket stronger, and make the big jellyfish weaker to element damage.

New OC for Minigun: Loaded Barrels
The weapon's manufacturer offers a new internal mechanism that allows for all three barrels to be loaded simultaneously, firing three bullets at once. With such firing sequence, barrels heat up much quicker, but bullets deal increased damage to near enemies and reduces accuracy. This mechanism adds weight to the system, increasing spinup time and reducing overheat duration.
This OC aims for a unique minigun experience (shotgun) with emphasis on short bursts of damage up close and personal.

New mission types called supermissions. There would be 4 different types, each accounting for 2 normal mission types. These could be available in the same way as Deep Dives, with only one mission being available weekly. A reward would definitely be extra XP and credits (higher amount than Deep Dives would most likely be justified), maybe even a singular matrix core?
I think supermissions could also be a way to use content that's lying around in the space rig already. Maybe those big blue M.U.L.E.s could be used for example?
Ideas:
Mining Expedition + On-site Refinery supermission. Incredibly rich in morkite, both solid and liquid. Besides mining out the veins, you'd also have 2-3 giant wells of liquid morkite, with special equipment called down to pump it all out. As the bugs like chomping down on equipment's metal, your job would be to protect the extractor and keep the systems functional.
Egg Hunt + Elimination supermission. Your job is to tackle the enormous chambers of buried eggs and eliminate the dreadnought guardians. The egg quota would be in tens at least, with a single dreadnought spawning per 2-4 eggs. There'd also be an assistance from the normal critters, but those would come through mini-swarms, as normal swarms are replaced with the dreadnoughts spawning.
An Escort + Point Extraction supermission. You'd have a much larger drilldozer to assist, fighting off hordes of Hoxxes' fauna. With each chamber you drill through, there'd be aquarqs embedded into the walls, which you'd have to collect. The swarms are replaced with constant barrage of bugs, but fear not, you'd be assisted by weaponry on the dozer. At the end, an abnormally large Ommoran Heartstone would await you, throwing everything it has at you to prevent being extracted.
An Industrial Sabotage + Salvage Operation supermission. Your job is to deal with one of the many hearts of Rivals' operations; This wouldn't just be another caretaker to shoot down. Alongside this difficult task, you'd also have to retrieve any equipment the previous team had left behind from their attempt at tackling the problem.
Not sure if it's been said already but different nationality sounding dwarves would be cool to have! It would be funny to have accents in the game

a way to blacklist players would be appreciated. for example as a response for either getting griefed or kicked for no reason. steam is not always displaying the correct people you played with last.

Can we have more assignments be abortable please?? Just jumped on with a friend who has very little spare time and i chose an assignment before realising he already had one selected, and BOTH were non-abortable which meant we couldn't progress together until one of us completed at least six extra 'wasted' missions. I understand why the initial assignment might have no abort to encourage people to experience each mission type at least once as a tutorial, but i see no reason why all the limited time holiday assignments have to be locked in? it could keep the trait where it tries to avoid giving any one target more locks than necessary, but it could also prioritise targeting onto enemies of the same type as whatever enemy was in your crosshair when you began targeting
ie. if you were aiming at a grunt it would prioritise grunts over any other type of enemy, and if it was a praetorian, it would prioritise praetorians
this sort of helps it live up to the name of smrt, since it would understand based on what you were aiming at, as to what you wish it to do
if you're aiming at a grunt, chances are there are a lot of grunts, so it'd make sense that you'd wanna take out as many of them as possible, but if you're aiming at something like an oppressor, it's likely top priority, so your gun would seem like it's recognising that, and focus everything it's got onto that oppressor, instead of letting some stray locks go onto grunts and the like
as it currently stands the smrt targeting system upgrade is rather underwhelming, and it seems to me that this upgrade has the potential for more use cases
also it makes the smrt seem smarter, at least, i think it does
a thing i forgot to say is that this sorta makes the smrt be as effective as you let it be, since you direct it more than ever in how it should act, so it becomes a bit more skillful to use

Really small thing, but I'd like it if you could see all info diagetically without needing the HUD for immersion, rather than only ammo and health in a pinch
A rework to flares, armor, pickaxes, and our various tools would be fun to see in future updates as well. As it stands right now, our Armors, pickaxes, and often even our traversal tools really don't have much customization to them, as there aren't many good options for modifications on them.
For armors, perhaps being able to select mods that increase specific resistances, give better hp or shields at the cost of penalties to other stats, and for that matter, buffing T1A's Bigger Mineral Bag by just removing the Deep Pockets per, and just buffing the armor modification.
For pickaxes, being able to mine larger portions of terrain at once, increasing damage dealt to bugs, or even simply being able to mine minerals faster or more effectively would be nice.
For traversal tools, it's a lot more complex obviously, but I'd imagine a good way to do it would be to give them more synergies with what they can do. Perhaps engi platforms could become wider or resistant to breaking. Perhaps gunner shields could form a have an option to give shield regeneration and bonus damage, at the cost of not creating a bubble. Perhaps scouts grapple hook could let him carry his momentum much farther after releasing, to throw himself around while sniping.

More mobility. Personally I love mobility to the point where I enjoy scout 10x more than any other class. I'm an not saying that everyone should zoom around like scouts but giving some extra mobility option to each class within reason should be reasonable, especially since engineer received a mobility overclock on his grenade launcher. For an example gunner could maybe shoot some crystals (reminds me of the minigun from UT3 but it'd probably work better with his rocket launcher) just big enough that you can stand on them and that get stuck in the wall when shot, maybe he could propel himself in the air slightly with his minigun Jetpack Joyride style (should be very difficult to control so shouldnt be that busted I guess), a Special Powder option for his railgun would be a bit too crazy but maybe a toned down option would be within reason, a slight speed boost to his hook when going up sounds great. For driller giving an ability to him/his teammates to bounce on his blobs sounds cool, probably annoying as hell but who cares, and I think it shouldnt be too unreasonable to make programming wise (might be wrong here). An overclock that decreases friendly fire damage, increases sticky flame duration and increases speed (by a lot) for dwarfs running through it also sounds fun, the Special Powder treatment for charged plasma shots might be fun, a black ice/snow trail for freezer gun. For engie the Jetpack Joyride option for laser sounds reasonable, speed boost trail for plasma cutter sounds fun. Scout should get a mobility option for his other weapons because the special powder is so busted and fun it's hard to imagine playing with some other secondary. Something for crossbow should be alright like making an area of effect that allows you a low gravity jump if you initiate it while standing in the AoE (probably not super useful for scout but a great teamwork tool) or maybe a special arrow that you can teleport to, jetpack joyride treatment for peashooter sounds cool.

instead of your character saying something like "bosco, rocket!" when you try to order bosco to shoot a rocket while he doesn't have any, your character should say something like "bosco's rockets are recharging!" since a lot of the time during the heat of combat it's hard to tell if bosco is just being unresponsive as usual or actually doesn't have any rockets
Beard cosmetics with stuff in them. For examples beard with candycanes in it, or maybe shredder parts as a reference to the 'dont get them in your beard!' voiceline.

A minigame like the "Rite of Sigin-tarag" where the dwarfs dispute in who can break more rocks with only one swing, so there would be two anvils with rock, and then the two player should do a quick time event in every hit, and then quick time event would get quicker until someone misses
Persistent plasma t5 interactions: burning nightmare leaves a trail of persistent plasma, and plasma splash leaves a smaller field of p.p.
Despite the new burning nightmare and plasma splash mods, TCF is still the most popular t5 mod for the EPC, especially with persistent plasma because of its special ability to have persistent plasma anywhere.
If burning nightmare could be driller’s coilgun, that would give reason to take it, as well as that being much more intuitive
Plasma splash has it’s own problems, driller not needing an aoe secondary; as well as the cwc being better for that role. Anything that we can do for it helps
When pushing the button in a Point Extraction or Refining mission, As the core of the minehead/refinery reservoir is returning to the rig, The launch thrusters should blast everything in the vecinity (everything standing on the metal platforms) with Heat status, with bugs taking a large amount of heat to set them on fire, and dwarves a fraction of that, only enough to show it on the hud.
Nothing too game breaking, just a nice detail to have.

the gk2 should have its inate wp bonus brought back, but at a reduced 5% bonus, have the damage and wp mods swap places, have the armor break mod moved to tier 3, and the stun mod to tier 4. this would push it more towards a single target BEAST, while also allowing more build variety amongst all the ocs
- aise can just take damage in tier 4 and ammo in tier 2 for a decent grunt killer
- ofm can take damage in t4 and armor break in t3 for an easier to use ar
- electrifying reload can take stun in t4 and armor break in t3 for a more cc oriented set up
better navigation of the Miner's union terminal, the UI is somewhat buggy not that easy to understand
I would like to see a little docking station for Bosco on the drop pod that he parks into at the end of the mission. Or just have Bosco join us on the trip back to the Space Rig after a mission is done. It's such a little thing but considering we can bring Doretta back now, this seems like it should already be in the game. While on the topic of Bosco, he should be able to collect secondary objectives. ALL of them. Had too many situations where I had to spend a lot of time getting that last fossil when Bosco can just fly over there and get it if it was in the game.

Give a way to get rid of the slime in fungus bogs. If you’re not playing engineer you are slowed to a crawl and if you are you run out of platforms very quickly. Just asking for more than the one option for traversing it in a timely manner.

Ebopolyp Dreadnought ("Mold Octopus", "Slammer")
A large ball like creature which can create arms to latch onto various surfaces, either dragging, snailing, or swinging its ways towards dwarves (swinging on a ceiling). Its exterior is incredibly hard, and can only damage through weapons that can destroy terrain, or pickaxes.
Breaking through the exterior allows for damage. Upon taking damage, the dreadnought will emit spores, building up infection, or creating infected terrain within 1 meter of the damaged area. If an arm is damage enough, it will be destroyed, exploding in infection, but reducing the dreadnoughts movement for a time.
Every so often, the dreadnought will sink into the ground, regenerate all lost stone, and infect the area around them, and create a series of sprouts similar to the robotic apprentices (caretaker arms). The dreadnought will stop attacking and slowly regenerate over time while these arms are alive.
Dreadnought: If it can, it will slam into dwarves, dealing significant damage. Will throw rocks every few seconds with arms that aren't being used for movement. Can throw multiple rocks at a time, with no more than 2 per dwarf. It will also spit a ball of infection, which on contact with dwarf or terrain, infects within a 2m radius, and causing full infection of a dwarf on impact. Additionally, it can throw spikey rocks, which deal significant damage on impact, and spawn an ebonite grunt, guard, or slasher.
Arms: Dreadnought will move around these points, dragging itself in a manner to get as close as it can to a specific dwarf, kind of like an octopus. Available arms can throw, or slap (similar to pseudopods, and mentioned above).
Pseudopods(?): Slap dwarves within range (~15m), or throw a slow moving rock if out of range.

Infected armor and frameworks. Rockpox boils all over it
New bosco upgrades (all in the same row): 1. Bosco gains a small mineral bag (size 15-20), and when you ping a mineral, he collects it until his bag fills up, and then it falls on the ground as normal. You can ping him to make him fly over to you, and hold e to empty his bag into yours. It can be annoying having to run around getting all the little chunks. 2. Allows bosco to collect fossils, boolo caps, apoca blooms, and beer ingredients. He would give them to you in a similar way to the previous upgrade. Many people have suggested this before, so I decided to include it. 3. When bosco is holding a heavy object, you can ping the mule, drop pod, or other deposit location to have him deposit it. This could be very helpful so that you don’t need to push x and deposit everything manually.
A simple nice feature would be an option to skip the Overclock making animation. Gets a little annoying when you're trying to make a bunch and have to wait through it every time.
i think there should be small changes in the game, that aren't mentioned in the patch notes
for example pretorian swarms being more likely
people would then think: "weird, ive gotten these a lot lately", "wait again? no something has to be up with that."
this could make players theorise why certain things are happening, brings some more variety to hoxxes (because you never quit know what changes every so often) and build hype for maybe a new season
Please, please make it so that for the Yuletide suit, when toggling the flashlight, instead of it appearing on the shoulders, the suit's lights actually toggle! I think it would be really fun!
A steeve plushie? 3 variants like normal, guard, and slasher?
Some missions may read: Anomaly or high threat detected
What does this mean? One of the following are in the cave:
- Machine event (Core infuser, data cell, etc.)
- Tyrant Weed
- Bet-C
- Prospector
- Random dreadnaught spawn
Why? Well this idea started after being frustrated with getting 2 core infuser events over the course of 30 missions, but after some thinking I figured a constructive suggestion that'd help me as well would serve better than ranting. (have 11 blank cores and so far the 25% spawn rate isn't really true for me.)
The idea is similar to warnings, but more about individual events.
I should be able to pet a lootbug and it craps out a fair amount of loot but less loot then what you would get for killing it
Adding on to this:
Beast master perk now allows you to tame a loot bug, and instead of following you it will seek out mineral chunks not picked up by players already and consume them, once its full it returns to you and you can pet it to make it crap them out. Also bugs wont directly target it, and it really only dies due to natural stuff such as lava geysers and or players.
Also it’s speed and health is buffed a bit.
If the next update is going to have new primary weapons, here are ideas for them I have:
Driller; The Tesla: A large tesla coil gun that when held down, shocks and damages all enemies around you. Only need to aim in the direction of enemies and it shocks them. No need to reload. Has a short range. The more enemies in the effect of the shock, it does less impact damage. If only one enemy is getting hit, the impact damage is much more.
Gunner; The Gauss Cannon: A large futuristic looking weapon that shoots high powered beams at a slow rate of fire. Has a small amount of ammo so it must be reloaded a lot. Really strong for single target damage. If the fire button is held down, it fires a powered up beam that does more damage the longer its held down and does aoe damage to enemies near the beam, but consumes more ammo.
Engineer; The Bug Vacuum 2000: Looks like the midi gun from TF2, shoots a beam that locks onto and melts bugs when held long enough. The longer it is held, the more damage it does over time. Kind of like Inferno Tower from Clash Royal. Once it melts the bugs, it leaves a goo pile of biomass on the floor for 30 seconds. Depending on the size of the bug, it gives more or less. Pressing and holding the reload button will vacuum up the goop. After vacuuming up enough goop, pressing the reload button again launches an overcharged slow moving ball that damages any enemy that is near it. It goes through thin terrain, but stops when it hits a large patch of it.
Scout; The Minehead: A gun that shoots small explosive mines that damage on impact, and can stay in place when shot on the ground. They are tiny mines and if they are on the ground too long they will explode after 15 seconds. You can hold the fire button down to launch more mines at a time that costs more ammo.
dumb little idea i had for beast master
what if you could tame glyphid exploders, and they'd go and find the currently highest health enemy within a certain radius, and explode next to it
but taming one of these would still have a five minute cooldown before you can tame another glyphid
i'm not sure if it really makes too big of a difference on gameplay, but it sorta gives the user a choice as to whether they want to use beast master to deal with some of the smaller enemies, such as helping dispatch grunts, or if they'd rather get assistance on breaking through something like an oppressor
steeve should be able to come back from a mission with you.

Since the client can detect if the game is starting, perhaps have it retry the connection in 5-10 seconds so it can attempt to join? Then if it fails, return to the map screen?

Doing a search for "chat sound" in the DRG discord shows that many people have never heard the chat notification sound. There's even posts about it here on the #suggestions channel. It's very disappointing that this feature is being ignored considering it would be so simple to implement and a huge QoL improvement for players.
Allow you to "tame" praetorians, oppressors, or bulk detonators, as in they just don't attack, but wander around in your general vicinity (~50m). I think it would be funny to have 4 bulk detonators surrounding some dwarves doing absolutely nothing.
the grappling hook's crosshair should still show the distance of the surface you're pointing at even while it's recharging so you can aim for an appropriate surface without using the laser pointer which is very awkward to do
currently it replaces the distance counter with just "Recharging..." so you have to wait until it's finished recharging before you can see the distance which can cost you a precious moment in the heat of combat

I think that adding a new upgrade for the grappling hook so you can grapple objects like aquarqs, jadiz, doretta's head and compressed gold ( heavy objects that you can carry, essentially ) and pull them towards you so you can grab a hold of it. I think that players would get a bit more co-operative value from the upgrade and it would change Deep Rock in a small way that could help the scout become more team orientated.
I feel like the chance for cosmetic or overclock related events are too low for it to be found. Think about it, if they keep adding to the loot pool after every season theres gonna be so much items that you will never get what you want, i honestly think the chances of a cargo and lost helmet should be upped significantly. Amazing work with the cosmetics but we can't even use a third of them because it takes forever to find a cargo and get what you want. the overclock is alright
if possible, I think it would be nice to give Deepcore, Shotgun, Grenade Launcher and some other weapons unique animations (compared to the standard flipping)
The other day I was mining my own business in Dense Biozone and I saw something interesting : there was one
on the ground and 2 meters away from it a field of trapacactus was waiting for me to take the bait. So what about a plant using a bulb like lure to attract unsuspecting dwarves.
I saw a few users suggesting carnivorous plants using minerals as lure but I think barley bulbs are better because we can see them from a much greater distance with its faint glow.
When you use wormhole special during the Christmas event and you get sent into space, Santa should have a chance of running you over with his sled. :)
New body skins for the game. It's been a while that we don't get anything new. And please, let one of them be purple. Purple dwarf is cool!
This has probably been suggested before but I was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a special Christmas themed drink at the bar during Yuletide. That would be really neat.
Adding off of this, make the chat sounds different for the game notifications (green text) and for player messages. During a swarm, it would be useful to hear the difference between a useless “objective completed” notification and an important “leech above my body” notification
Another weird suggestion, particularly for Driller considering his penchant for insanity - give him the ability to ram HE grenades into the mouths of Praetorians and Oppressors. Significantly reduced AOE range, but the ensuing explosion will immediately strip all armor off the plated bugs (and maybe a short stun after eating a spicy meatball?).
Stupid idea incoming:
A beer fridge/ cooler thing. Say there is a special beer like dark morkite that you don’t need for the next mission but you may need later. You simply buy it and put it in a beer cooler located in your room. It can hold 5 of any types of beers, like company standards and the “fun” ones.
To prevent people from joining a max player lobby and stealing all four beers when you try to put in two of the same round your dwarf will say “well that’s just greedy!”

New Biome idea
water themed where all the caves are flooded but near the roof of larger areas there's pockets of air.
Have the low atmosphere modifier (O2 gauge active) and low gravity modifier present when below water.
When on the floor of an area and also being under water you walk around at a reduced speed (maybe half of what the high snow reduces you by), if submerged holding your jump button allows a slow swimming ascent but also tapping gives a low gravity jump.
Sprinting allows for normal or maybe 1.5x walk speed whilst underwater.
Enemies can include normal glyphid types since they're kinda like crabs already, new biome specific water based enemies to replace macteras, they'll function similar as they swim around as apposed to flying.
Maybe include a new mode where you find yourself in a large chamber with some giant but friendly creature and your goal is to remove barnacles off of it and doing so causes the creature to relax and excrete a mission specific material like how loot bugs do with gold and nitra if you smack em.
Rail gun weapon, 1 round capacity in magazine and like 10 total. it has charge up time before shooting a projectile at high speeds dealing massive damage with a high stun chance
Please, PLEASE return the bug (or fix it, Karl knows if it was intentional initially or not) of DRAK's Shield Battery Booster+Manual Heat Dump syncing your shield recharge timer with overheat duration.
Right now SBB is just an ammo OC with dubious bonuses that you cannot take to half the planet anyway. If making the bonuses scale with shield% is not an option, please make the OC playstyle engaging again.

Please stop mods from auto-enabling every time they update. Joining modded servers occasionally would be fun EXCEPT now whatever mods they ran on that random server will forevermore randomly activate on your account whenever they or a dependent mod get updated. The only solution to this atm is to A) avoid modded servers altogether or B) go into the game files and manually delete the mod files every so often. I always avoid modded servers now which is a shame considering how much effort went into supporting the mod community.

I suggest that there are ores that we can find by digging that are not on the surface of the caves.Different tools can be added for excavation and these may be different for each class.Instead, new features can be added to the pickaxe.For example, the scout can see what the ore is in this soil when digging and when he approaches.Gunner can stun monsters when his pickaxe hits the ground etc.

Water caves! im a HUGE sucker for underwater games like Subnautica and Barotramua. and I would love to see underwater sections in Drg. They would act like normal caves but have low oxygen and low gravity modifiers. As the dwarfs would just sink with their gear. gameplay would be the same. They could call in pumpjacks, connect pipes, drive with Doretta. A big problem is: "how is the swarm going to chase the dwarfs?". They could create bubbles around themselves like scuba spiders (Argyroneta aquatica) and there would be swimming variants. An aquatic plants could be: or lily pads (Victoria amazonica): to fight on the surface. bigger ones could have "spring loaded vines" which a dwarf can interact with and jettison him to the surface. I'm very aware that that what I'm suggesting is not a small feature and is a massive update/feature creating a lot of work for people. And maybe it's unviable to achieve technically speaking or just a bit dumb. But I'm just being hopeful and voicing my opinions on what I would like to see in the game. On joining/ in the equipment menu you can swap class with triggers on controller it would be nice if, like that, you were able to swap between loadouts with bumpers.

- Rival Tech Framework for bosco would be interesting
- you know how dwarfs hack rival bots? why the reverse cant happen: a hacked bosco mini-event - kill it and carry the corpse to molly for extra exp
- alternative rocket weapons? say a rocket, charged plasma bolt (somewhat similiar to epc) and mayyybe something special like grenade dropper?
Sparse nitra warning, just less nitra ore in the mission.
suggestion to move the power attack indicator somewhere else, it gets obstructed by team inventory

These explode when enemies make contact, dealing damage in a very small area. However to make enough space in the shells for the liquid we had to reduce the number of pellets, and the dangerous liquids require you to be more delicate with handling them, and the amount you can keep on you has been reduced to not make you a liability"

-New monthly assignment with sabotage in it. Will give you rewards e.g a matrix
I thought of this because it can keep the identity of sabotage being a 'grand' type mission and it can adress some of the frustration from people who might not prefer doing this mission which is often longer than the rest and doesn't get in the way of people who want to grind overclocks without such a complex mission in their way

A screen in the lobby showing recent mining team departures (other players starting missions) and returns (other players finishing or failing missions). The rig can feel a bit lonely when playing solo, and even in groups, it doesn't really feel like there's a lot of activity. Examples:

Other precious metals and gems occasionally replacing gold: silver, platinum, ruby, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, diamond.
More metals as possible side objectives: copper, iron, lead, brass, tin.
All could have minute differences to set them apart a bit (like value compared to the amount that spawns and hits it takes to break).
It'd admittedly be pointless gameplay-wise, but I feel it would be satisfying to have more variation in shinies to collect. Plus, immersion.
Give Zipline gun a laser sight visible to other players.
Allow dwarves to arm wrestle at one of the abyss bar tables! You'd both go into third person, and see a progress bar, which you can influence in your favour by tapping the strafe keys (like breaking out of freeze or rockpox).

afterword: an idea that came to my mind after an unknown dwarf saved the mission by jumping into a swarm of bugs with only pickaxe(I will immortalize you here, a non-heavenly hero)
after the afterword: "When the last cartridge is released, when there is no chance of survival, when there is not enough 1 nitro for supplies, all hope will be only on him"
not fully fleshed out idea for a theme for some future season:
the planet of hoxxes itself is experiencing massive fissures and structural difficulties, and nobody's quite sure as to why
all they know is that if the planet continues being pulled apart at the seams, it'll have incredibly harmful effects on drg's mining operations there, so your job is to find and repair fractures before they get too large
this idea came with a thought for a new mission type, where instead of mining, you do reverse mining, finding giant fissures and filling them in with a soil gun, or something along those lines
and it could maybe introduce a new type of terrain hazard, quicksand, that has a chance to show up when one cave is located above another, and basically just drags you from the top cave into the bottom one when you step onto it
i could also see this coming with more types of cave formations, specifically crevasses, very tall and long but not much in the way of width
One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of players will back into the drop pod seats to mimic sitting down. Have you guys ever thought about adding a button to allow players to sit down in the drop pod?

Whiskey would be served in a shot glass kinda thing, and rum in a whole bottle, both of which break upon throwing. They would mirror the beer menu and have all the same things and give the same bonuses, but with different names plus descriptions.
So if you ordered a tunnel rat and took less fall damage you could order a whiskey variant for the same price, and same affect. It’s just cosmetic really.

Give the nemesis more HP. It’s a terrifying enemy but it’s fear factor is lowered by how low it’s HP is. It makes it a little easier to defeat then it should

Please, please make a nemesis spawn during the caretaker fight!!!
Nemesises are one of the best enemies in the game but they’re way too rare.
Imagine seeing 6 or more tentacles at once during the boss fight. It would be amazing!
It would also make the boss fight more action packed and make sure that players can’t just stand still during an entire phase

Add trays for food into dwarwen cabins or on "Abyss bar" tables, maybe with some half-eaten/unfinished meals. Would be a good detail in my opinion

Something like the escort but instead with submarine
make it so that you drink blackout stout without fainting but its extremely rare , maybe even give it an achievement
I think some consistency with the drop pod between deep dive missions would be cool, like saving doretta will leave her head in the pod for the next segments, or finishing a salvage will make the drop pod keep its paint scratched form.

I want to make a Suggestion as an art creator.
I think the creative part of the community will support me! We want eye colors for our dwarves! Many of those who love the customization of dwarves in the game dream about it.
I would also like the pitch of the voice not to be tied to the profession. How about giving players the option to choose the tone of voice for their miner regardless of profession??
My third idea is to be able to change the height or size of a dwarf a bit. Without changing the game hitbox, of course. We love taking screenshots, at least in the lobby. That would be beyond a dream.

Perk idea: "Ammo Recycle"
Killing an enemy has a chance 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% to refill 1 of your ammo to your currently held weapon/tool
Kills could be able to do so with either only pickaxe attacks, or with kills in general
When you holding ping tool to check for nearby supplies sometimes this is not obvious how much ammunition is left in resupply pod, because of perspective. If only supply outline's text had lable, like this "Resupply pod (X kits left)", this would be good quality of life addition!
There should be some kind of animal on the rig to pet and play fetch with (Maybe a Steve that hitched a ride on the drop pod and now we dont have the heart to send him back) .
There should be a voiceline in the rotation for "Rock and Stone until it is done"

After consumption of Rum & Gun, it forcefully makes your dwarf sprint twice as fast, pull out your currently equipped primary and secondary weapon (which you can swap between the duration) with unlimited ammo and a non-stop rapid fire for a 10-15 second duration.** ||(Don't worry though, it doesn't cause any friendly fire)||**
Not sure what ingredients it would use, so that's up to you to decide.
If you consider it a nice addition to the collection of brews we currently got at the Abyss Bar then

Me and my friends thought it would be nice if the loot crates and lost helmets gave us class specific loot. For instance, gunner gets gunner loot. It's kinda annoying getting loot for a class you don't play.
About rival companies, There should be more than a single company that rival DRG. What about creating more rival companies other than the robots for example serpent aliens, rival dwarf companies ( Sponsored by the main rival of DRG(?)), elves, orks, goblins etc. there can also be random events in-game where you can see rival companies fighting each other. But to be realistic it would probably be exhausting.
Cozy Candles do not reduce frost build up on players. To go with the holiday spirit it should reduce frost build-up on all things nearby, in the spirit of warmth and holiday cheer.

Worst beer is actually Dark Morkite, it's only good for Morkite missions. So it needs a rework or buff to be usable in other missions too. Like less Oil Shale for Drill Dozer or takes less damage for example.

Another "teammate must save you enemy" Hard to see web across an area, maybe nearly invisible or on the ground. If touched you get ensnared and a large glyphid spider will crawl out across the web towards you, like a fly in a trap. even if saved you have to fight the spider if triggered, so if you can avoid it its good to leave it instead of just destroying it like a cave leech.

severely lower the chance for industrial sabotages in deep dives/assignments. Pipeline segments shouldn’t be able to go past their max length in the building process.
They should act more like fuel connectors where the hologram preview stops at its max length.

Cannot handle a gun but has a range of melee weapons that have CC or AoE mods (fists, hammer, actual shield held in hand)
Secondaries are abilities instead of weapons. (Throwing, Grappling, Taunt)
Has reduced mobility so has to rely on team to get him places (or maybe he can climb a wall for a short period of time? - pretty much meaning he punches holes into walls to hold onto and climb across with a stamina bar or w/e)
He'd be the kind of guy to jump headfirst into a swarm from the side of a cave and just slam the ground to CC them all.
Wouldnt do a ton of damage but he would be able to lock targets down and go toe-to-toe with an Oppressor, throw his ass away and survive laughing.
Maybe even only unlockable at a high promo threshold or something fun for the super-late-late game folks to unlock and mess around with.
Rework tyrant weed. Make it a negative mission mutation instead of a random chance thing so I at least know it's coming and can prepare.

significantly buffs target player's damage and defense. once target player is shot, they will be buffed for 10 seconds, however the slow fire rate keeps him from just flash-buffing the whole team, and the low ammo count makes it necessary to conserve buff-charges for hellish situations.
shooting a bug with it will make it buffed as well, but also much slower as a tradeoff.

Reskin Ommoran Shell into a giant gobstopper for Halloween.
Add an additional accuracy mod to the Autocannon's Tier 4. This would fit within the row's sort of specialization theme and allow direct-damage builds such as Big Bertha to more effectively weakpoint snipe. This would be strong, but the opportunity cost of losing armor stripping, which is very effective on direct damage builds, or increased AoE, which can aid in killing swarming enemies that direct damage builds are otherwise unsuitable for, would make it a sidegrade or even just a slightly niche pick.
it's probably been suggested a million times before but can the viewmodel for the bulldog be updated to show 6/3 bullets for six shooter/elephant rounds respectively? it bugs me more than it should that it always shows 4 bullets regardless of changes to bullet count
add an LMG like the NEGEV or the RPD and give it to the gunner or engie and give the engie or scout a nail gun and give the driller a sawblade gun and maybe give one of the classes an smg like the M3A1 or the sten gun i also have pistol ideas if these aren't interesting

Merge the Deep Pockets perk into T1C of armor. There is legitimately no good reason to have a +5 to minerals as an upgrade.

Both mods keep the current bonuses, but they also slightly amplify their respective bonuses for other sources. I think we can all agree that the slow mod is better, because the utility. This addition would balance them out because they would both be support. Also, team coordination for slowing down big enemies or damaging them while exposed would be nice too

Seasonal Beers
As a fairly new player, active abilities are easy to forget. The icon could be more visible, maybe make it slightly bigger and add a faint glow when ready to use. Also the icon should show the key which activates the ability.
What about an overclock that makes the Hurricane act like an oversized, low ammunition grenade launcher? Perhaps something akin to the missiles bosco fires?

Idea for improving the Assignments system
I have 30+ hours in the game now and completed quite a few assignments. Now I am trying to get my friends to also play this game but I noticed one problem with the system that reduces the fun for me by quite a lot.
Problem:
If I play with my friends and they complete their assignment together then I won't progress with my assignments! I might get lucky and have an assignment that overlaps with theirs, but that's it. I obviously want to unlock new weapons and progress with my assignments without having to play outside of the party and sometimes I want to keep playing with some nice randoms but then I have to decide between staying with them or finishing an assignment, which is often a hard choice if you're one mission away from unlocking a new gun!
Idea/solution:
A possible solution is to change the mission-specific assignments into points-based assignments. The main mission gives you [150] points that will progress your current assignment ([450] points would replace the current 3-missions assignments), some mission that overlap with the theme of the assignment (i.e. other lithophage/extraction/etc. missions) reward you with [100] points and missions that don't overlap with the theme give you [50] points instead.
That would help both premade lobbies (you don't have to play on your own to complete assignments) and random lobbies as players can just stick around if the found a good teammate and complete missions together. Right now you see a lot of players leave after one mission even if the lobby was filled with nice players!

Make dwarves hum some tunes while mining minerals
Ballistic shield and a pistol for gunner as a secondary. M1 would shoot a pistol. M2 would shield bash with a cooldown. A strong melee atack that would apply stun on medium size bugs and crush little ones.
A pistol would have a low/medium damage output and range.
Falling from a medium hight will perform a ground slam, with a tiny (1m) aoe.
Sprinting and bashing with a shield would push back enemies too.
Might get some use with a sprint perk if a shield bash gets a bonus damage based on a speed.
Add a training mode/area where you can test out all of a characters kit in an area and against dummies (management). Happy Yuletide!
Loot bug cluster - simple, it's a mission modifier that doubles the spawn of lootbugs. Kinda just mineral mania but more fun
The pointer is great for 99% of communications in this game, but it’d be nice to have way to remind Scouts to use their flares (other than chat).
Illegal mining operations
Large camps of humans “illegally” mining the resources of Hoxxes IV, first of all it would add more life to the world of DRG knowing you’re not alone, second of all it would be fun fighting an actual human that is as lethal and clever as you. Also as the dungeons of Hoxxes are incredibly dangerous, maybe the bases could be built incredibly tough, maybe on a hill where you’d need to request a big robot tank to breach the gates to go inside.
Missions:
Primary objective
Breach and destroy (2) non-DRG mining camps
Loot a large non-DRG mining camp for their resources
Secondary objective
Eliminate (5) non-DRG miners
Find (3) non-DRG mining bases and send the coordinates to mission control
Enemies:
Miner: Has a rusty shotgun, a couple grenades, and a big pickaxe.
If you get too close they will try to pierce your skull with the pickaxe, stay in cover for too long they will maybe throw a grenade near you. And of course with the shotgun they will try to shoot at you.
Guard: Has a rifle, revolver, and a sci-fi equivalent of a chainsaw.
Found defending miners, camps etc… Guards will have more armor, so they will be tougher to crack, stay still too long they will mag dump you with the rifle, go too far they’ll try to shoot you with the revolver, get too close they’ll start chasing you for a bit with the sci-fi chainsaw until they run out of stamina and take a breather (possible moment to start shooting the guard for getting too cocky?)

A certain level of destruction of Deep Rock Galactic's property should come with remedial missions as punishment (or maybe even a fine of credits, printed on screen when you finish a mission after such destruction. Break holiday ornaments, pesky barrel shenanigans and messing with the ship's gravity field can get you these remedial missions with enough...force. (This is a great way to give some of us infinite missions, even if they don't pay as much. This also gives us another way to anger Management with some unique and comical dialogue. Deep Rock wins. We kind of win. Everyone's happy.)

Have the Crassus Detonator spew out gold in chunks like a golden loot bug instead plastering the walls around it. Damn thing adds ten extra minutes to a mission because the PUGS want to mine the thing.
How about a taunt, not like the "rock'n'stone" V, but rather something targeted - like pointing with laser pointer and pressing a taunt button. Maybe it could get a small percent chance to grab the attention of dreadnought or ghosts. Something like 10%, falling quickly with distance, 'cause a high chance of success would be OP, to just taunt them from a distance, getting it off your mates.
The voiceline for steeve dying “Steeve fought well, and he died like a human” should be dwarf instead
please add a feature where when a player is calling the drop pod, a message is displayed on screen saying that the pod is being called and by who. This would help prevent anyone calling the pod prematurely. I just came back from a mission where a guy on my team called the pod while I was setting up the meteor drills. I wasn't happy about it, to say the least.
i think the mini mules should be able to accept deposits like the full sized molly and drop ship!
Add two randomize buttons to the equipment terminal. One for pure cosmetics that randomizes all the weapon frameworks and skins, and one to randomize loadout.

For the lobby of the space rig: An unlockable Radio to change the lobby music. Finding more music for it could be treated as another cosmetic, like finding lost cassette tapes on Hoxxes or via Matrix Cores, for example.
i think humans won't fit as good enemies because of the way the caves work, where you need enemies that either crawl on the walls and ceilings or fly around
but if you do still want humans, here's my solution: give them jetpacks
Blowthrough rounds for the Voltaic SMG
Sounds kinda specific but here's my reasoning
The thing that sets the Voltaic apart is it's electric effect, which has a chance to trigger every time it hits an enemy. And some of the later upgrades give it an effect that can apply to other bugs around it. +however much penetration is that many more chances to trigger that effect, which could be very effective and interesting.
Also, it can be really nice for a non-electric Voltaic build as well. The Voltaic, like any engi weapon, kinda eats it's ammo stupidly fast, and blowthrough rounds would give a way to increase ammo efficiency without just straight up giving more max ammo.
Could be a really fun upgrade for a gun that can feel kind of bland at times, but IDK.
Dwarves should react with disgust upon consuming a leaf lovers special, rather than the generic beer drinking response.
I'd love to see cosmetics themed around traditional fantasy/rustic looks, especially for weapons! Bring the dwarves back to their roots!

What about decorations? Our Dwarves talk about lava lamps or wanting to bring back a small plant to the base, so why not have something small in the room? It can be like 3 or 4 small areas, little specific things. A wall item, like a poster or something, an item on the desk, one by the bed, and one by the shelves. Something small, even like a plush lootbug or something.
Would love a mission type called Nitra Express that is like a morkite mission but it's just more Nitra and the swarm is constant. Kill 700 or something bugs in a rain of hellfire and go home. Love the shooting, would love to do even more of it. Just something unrealistically wacky to blast Dance of the Dreadnought to.
Add a voiceline, either after killing the glyphid menace or at the abyss bar:
"I'm a menace... to sobriety!"
add a chance on any mission for a drop pod to arrive broken, and you need to call for repair drone to fix it, like the hacker bot, you need to protect him from glyphids and wait till he repairs drop pod.
Crossplatform gameplay please
Time limit mission - The dwarfs are sent to a mysterious area to gather some intel. Due to the area being unknown, headquarters only allowed them 10 mins (Can be change) to discover and mine any/all resources available. (Mobs spawns are greatly increase and the number rises the lower the countdown).

For the love of the asskissers mothers , please remove all invincibility mechanics from bosses, its not balancing them , just making their fights more tedious , instead of invincibility give them armor/dug in mechanic/ dodge or whatever . i love the bosses , but AI needs some serious rework.

The process of forging could stand to be made more satisfying i think, just as a QoL change
it's a dwarf with a hammer smacking away at some stuff, that's a really good launching point for a very satisfying-looking crafting experience, but as it currently stands forging just feels a bit clunky whenever the dwarves do it
imagine if you will the dwarf brings their hammer down twice, raising a great ring from the anvil every time as sparks fly, filling that forge bar like a quarter of the way up in total, and then with a mighty roar (basically just a roar they make when performing a power attack) they bring the hammer down over their head and make a great crashing sound as it smashes against the anvil, bringing the forge bar all the way up to full
T3 upgrade for a pickaxe that gives its some form of a ranged attack
option A) every power attack also sends an additional projectile/hitscan bullet that deals X damage
option B) dedicated button for dat additional projectile/hitscan bullet
the projectile/hitscan bullet has a comparably high damage (say 115% of the power attack damage + scaling to 150% the farther target is) but is limited and can not be refilled.

Name: Forge Ignition
Goal: Refine “mineral name tbd”
Summary: Age old forges of the past abandoned by past management have been uncovered by the current administration. It is told these forges were used to refine an extremely rare and sought-after mineral found deep within the caves of Hoxxes IV. Because of the risky and unstable refining process has on this mineral, they must be processed planet-side to avoid unintended disaster.
Part 1/Approach the forge: interact to scan for ignition cores(like missing legs) required to fire up the forge later on.
Part 1/ Retrieve 3 ignition cores(more than 3 on map, more on that later): Ignition cores are large brightly blue-lit objects that were “relocated” my local fauna. They must be retrieved and attached into the forge(like batteries on lost cargo).
Part 2/Now the forge’s basic controls are online, the team can retrieve the ancient locator(pickup like a litho-foamer) used to scan for the mysterious ore. This will be found in the form of an abandoned mine cart on a few pieces of rail track. The mineral is too heavy to carry and requires building a connecting rail to the forge for processing.(like pipe building only it’s a rail for a minecart). Once built it must be pushed manually(interact) while a constant wave is triggered until it reaches its destination.
Part 3/ Once mine cart with mysterious ore enters the forge it can then be activated/ignited, drawing attention of enemies(time based progression to complete refining process). Occasionally the ignition cores will lose their light(die out), pausing progress, and auto eject requiring a new one to be attached for progress to continue.
Part 4/ Once complete, doors open, mysterious ore rolls out, very shiny. Deposited on molly like the heartstone, extract.

Beserker Perk Buff Suggestion:
Berserker is handy if you're prone to running out of ammo, but falls flat compared to the utility of dash, Steeve, or hover boots.
To remedy this, what if players received 20HP (30 with Vampire) per bug they smash during their Berserk rampage?

Active Perk Suggestion:
"Case-Melter" Firing Mode:
Press the tab key while firing to temporarily double the fire/charge rate of your weapon for 5 seconds. During this period all ammunition used is pulled directly from your reserves, so you aren't interrupted by reloads. If used on a semiautomatic weapon, it will temporarily become automatic. Takes 180 seconds to recharge.
The intention is for this to function as a "panic button" alternative to dash, but for those who prefer fight over flight. It would be a very fun addition to the game, although it'd probably also be a nightmare to code.
Add a unique voiceline for pinging Bloopy Fruits
It would be nice if mission ending drop pods made the same 'about to leave' warning sounds as the one on the spacerig, when they're timing out.

Please allow us to rejoin industrial sabotage if we were disconnected from the match which we were already in (occurs when the caretaker fight has started, or maybe after all hacking stations are destroyed). Its not fun losing all that progress just because of issues we cant always control (ex. Host internet connection, game crashes, etc.)
I remember this used to be an issue with Refinery (during liquid refining) missions and Salvage Operation (all mules built), which has since been fixed (at least I believe it has been).
||This may also be a deep dive thing, though Ive been disconnected on the third stage before and not had issues rejoining until today.||
Environmental Suggestion:
Allow players a way to get rid of Sticky Goo off the ground. Some missions, especially the harder ranked ones with more stars, are covered in this and it can really be obnoxious to deal with. Unlike most other obstacles there is currently no way to remove this impediment.
My suggestion is to allow weapons like the Flamethrower to burn it away or the Cryothrower/Cryo Grenades to be able to freeze it and then mine it/drill it/blow it up to break it and destroy it. Similar to how Black Ice can be destroyed it would be great if options were added to allow the Sticky Goo to be destroyed. In general I think Flame based weapons should have the ability to burn it away while Cryo based weapons should have the ability to freeze it allowing players to then break the frozen goo.
Minor Suggestion from me, but please show currently selected and active perks in the perk tree menu. It can get annoying to have to run from my room to the weapon terminal just to see what my currently selected perks are. Thanks!

I don’t have many friends who play this game so my first many missions in this game were done completely solo, and over the hours I’ve spent underground, I’ve become quite attached to my little flying tin can. He’s saved my skin countless times, rezzed me when I fell and helped me mine that last little bit of Mork I can’t quite reach. He may be metal and oil instead of flesh and blood, but he is my brother all the same.
I do not care if it costs me extra to give him a tiny flagon of oil to sip, I want to drink with my partner after another successful mission. Bosco deserves a pint for his hard work, right?
Unpopular Opinion: I think Haunted Cave should have the other 5 disruptive enemies too, giving them some sort of digging attack as well (other than Menaces ofc). Each mission would randomly choose between one of the 6.
so i started a new account on steam moving over from pc right? and i realized how bad this game is to new players. like...really really bad and constantly running out of ammo way too often even with all if not most shots hitting my mark. sadly the game only gets fun when you hit its peak with proper gear as the progression is not so enjoyable

Pickaxe Throw, an alternative to Power Attack for the pickaxe. When activated, your dwarf will, as the name suggests, toss the pickaxe in an arc similar to a throwing axe, albeit straighter and farther reaching to allow longer range tosses. The damage of the thrown pickaxe will increase based on distance, and the cooldown will also be reduced by landing long range throws (akin to the Flying Guilotine from TF2). To balance it, you will be unable do any melee attacks while it is on cooldown, its AOE will be halved compared to a Power Attack, and it will do the same damage as a regular pickaxe swing in close quarters.

Not sure if I turned some graphic thingamagig off somewhere that disables it, or it wasn't ingame to begin with, but something something aftermath of a blast where soot/plasma/cryo residue of an explosive would be left behind on surfaces after detonation, a soft indicator of how far the blast's effects reached from the point of explosion?

My close friends and I have never played Deep Rock Galactic, but would like to enjoy it together. Problem is we are all on different devices (PC , Xbox and Playstation respectively).

A new rare enemy type, like bet-c, a dwarf with a randomized class, weaponry, upgrades, ect, who is an enemy thanks to parasitic mushrooms/aliens. Defeating them allows you to deposit the “parasite” in Molly for R&D to research, and give you a nice bonus
Another idea:
An “endless” mode in a combat training simulation. Kill waves of enemies for points and nitra, complete randomized tasks every few waves, and you leave by failing and then get xp based on how well you did, simulating combat and mission training, but not granting materials or money. And between waves you can change around your loadout to test your weapons and perks in combat, without having to start a mission for the sole purpose of finding out what weapon pairs best with your brand new overclock.
Cosmetic Idea: "Magma Core Tenant" (not sure with the name) - Suit, basically designed for high temperatures. Looks like firefighters suit but also comes with armour plates, hooks etc. that dwarfs need deep down at magma core.

Currently, during Salvage Operation's triangulation and refuelling stage, pressing C may sometimes play the "let's race Molly" and similar responses, which I assume is an oversight.
Because of that, I think it could be nice if both of these stages got not also shared, but exclusive voice lines such as
"Time to get home. Stay in place so that Mission Control can triandu-, trianjur-, ugh, find our location!"
"You heard the guy, stay in the damn bubble!"
"Let's refuel this drop pod!"

When the connection is lost, whether you're a host or a player, make the game switch to single player instead of failing the mission.

Ideas:
Queen Lootbug: Is three times the size of a regular lootbug and drops 3.25 times the regular loot. Has 20% chance to spawn. 3x the HP as well. Can spawn as a Platinum Variant that gives 3.25x the gold of a regular golden lootbug. This variant only has a 5% chance to spawn in a mission.
Ebonite/Mineralized/Crystaline Lootbug: Slightly larger than the golden lootbug, and is immune to gunfire. Must be killed with Pickaxes. 10% chance to spawn in any mission. Drops the local major and minor minerals instead of gold/nitra. In a 3:2 ratio, and drops Roughly 50%(Or less) as much as a Huli Hoarder.
Alchemical Detonator:
The larger, slower, more deadly cousin to the crassus Detonator .

Instead of pustules to pop, they are replaced with Mineral deposits based on the zone it's in. So for example Jadiz and Enor Perals. These cannot be shot and must be mined. They deal bonus damage similar to weakspots. This can be gunned down from long range but you lose the bonus minerals on its back.

It's AoE attack is a smaller radius, and slower, giving dwarves a chance to get in, smack the weak spots and get out before getting hit or getting smacked hard

Upon death it explodes in the same radius as the other Dets, but instead of a solid layer of gold/rock it leaves behind a crater with various veins of the regions minerals, in a 3:2 ratio of primary vs secondary. If you get a good sphere shape you get more mineral veins to mine, similar to a crassus det.

these Veins would have to spider and burrow a length into the ground instead of just a surface coating, while surrounded by useless slag.

I feel like it would be cool for a vs game mode where you and someone else are put into the same mission with the same map generation and whoever can complete that mission first wins and then you could put rewards at the end like a usual mission and maybe a seperate leveling system or somthing for that
I also think that it would be a cool idea for you to finish the area that's under construction but then make a new area like that so then you don't have to get rid of the voice lines and you could add more to the space rig like adding some stuff to the memorial hall to spice it up a little it would also be groovy if you added more alcohol to the bar

Glyphid Praetorians aren't super threatening (not counting the janky acid spray), to remedy this I propose an idea that could help spice up combat encounters.
When a Praetorian reaches around 60% health and has sustained moderate damage to it's armor, it has a chance to go berserk. When a Praetorian goes berserk it will let out a loud roar and will proceed to stampede towards the sound of gunfire, blindly thrashing at anything that gets in it's way.
Of course, this blind rage has the potential to cause your enemies to sustain substantial casualties from collateral damage, so there's a little bit of a silver lining there.

Possible to see previous mission stats, like a mission history/recap screen/terminal. Even if we could just view the end screen from past multiplayer/solo missions again. At a later stage to have more detailed stats would be really cool. Like kills per player over time. Damage dealt, damage received. Quantities of various minerals mined, objectives contribution, etc.

I don't know how often this has been suggested, but as someone with multiple monitors, it would be really nice to have a way to set a primary display for the game to launch on.
When standing inside the memorial hall, the dwarves' salutes should be more serious, quiet and somber. It certainly ruins the mood to salute a statue dedicated to your fallen comrades, only for your dwarf to blurt out "ROCK (URP) AND (URP) STONE!"
I want to be able to tell which class each of the downed dwarfs are, because it is really hard to know which one of your teammates you're reviving, so maybe change the downed dwarf icons according to the classes color schemes(i'm not talking about the ones in the left bottom corner, i'm talking about the ones that help you to find the teammates in the caves), because when im trying to pull of a clutch i would really prefer to revive gunner instead of scout, and i cant tell them apart without checking the nicknames which is kind of a hard thing to do in a heat of a battle.
Berserker buff idea:
A new passive effect.
While berserker active effect is very powerful, I wouldn't put it in the same category as Iron Will, where it doesn't need a passive.
So, I suggest the following:
Whenever you kill a medium or larger enemy with a pickaxe melee attack, gain a movement speed boost. (Enough to counter the normal reduction you would have)
The kill part should be emphasized, since just hitting an enemy should penalize you like normal, by slowing you down.
However, if you have enough situational awareness to notice low health enemies, you would be rewarded by saving ammo.
The medium enemies clause is so that your not completely able to invalidate shockers and swarmers just by this passive alone.
If you manage to properly judge the health of a larger target and get a pickaxe kill on them, I think you should be rewarded with a longer lasting speed boost.
Additional notes and ideas: I considered adding these buffs to the power attack as well-however, the power attack doesn't slow you, and is considerably easier to get a kill with. So it would only apply to the normal melee attack, and not the power attack, drills, or axes. (Though drills would be fun).
The goal of this buff is to provide a engaging and economical playstyle by encouraging players to use the melee attack at the right moment.
Medieval dwarven armor as a cosmetic DLC would be cool.
I had a fun creation for Christmas. It's the breakfast stew. This idea would most likely fit for a "beer" along with the idea of a abyss plated pyramid restaurant. A breakfast stew consisting of white country gravy with bits of cooked bacon, sausage, soft potatoes, eggs with melted cheese. For the "beer" version, it would have like 3 shots of whiskey. Description would be like, "A breakfast on the go, with some whiskey to make the job more fun. Not only that, it is the first, more permanent, choice meal in a mug to be served during the entire operation of Hoxxes IV. It is the drink that you chew as you drink. Enjoy." It would be a corporate-issue beer with regular potency, costing a hefty 225 credits per round.

A steel flak helmet would be a good headwear choice for those that like bombs and explosives a little too much.
give scout a pistol (i hate having to mod to use a pistol for the scout) and give the gunner an LMG (not like his minigun or his heavy cannon but something like a bigger deepcore gk2 or a bigger drak-25 i just want to use an lmg that is held like an ar) also armor and headgear that matches the weapons of the dwarves (i like having a theme for my dwarves) and for my final idea other mining tools or at least different melee (i just think that the idea of using pickaxes as our soul melee is a bit less that desirable for some players me included and the thought of using a shovel or a drill to kill bugs and mine is really fun and i don't mean the reapers claw shovel i mean an actual full on shovel would be cool as hell to use and so would a drill) the different melee would be pulled up via pressing a button that would take out your knife/fist/sword/axe/blackjack/whatever-you-use-at-the-time and it would deal the same damage as your pickaxe but would go faster and would have the power attack from the pick and the pick would get power attack replaced with something to make mining take one or two less hits from the pick

A few new perk Idea's. Not gonna put in numbers cause I'm not very good at that.
Passive: Mechanic; Build and repair everything (except sentries) faster and gives Rival Patrol Bots a higher chance to not die and be hackable.
Passive: Scared of the Dark; Flares recharge a bit faster and are a bit brighter and last a little longer.
Passive: Ammo Hungry; You get an extra small amount of ammo from resupplies (this one is to incourage people to use more of their ammo before resupplying.)
plastkrete platforms should be able to connect to on-site refinery and point extraction's platforms, in the case of it spawning somewhere where you cant reach it
i wanna see a costume like the "Big Daddy" from Bioshock. it would be a great set for the DRILLER
perhaps being able to pull teammates and heaver objects towards you? carrying heavy objects vertically is hell, and being able to pull teammates would give the scout at least some ability to help the team, as in being able to pull people up walls and stuff

It would be cool if when the dwarves make random comments during a mission, if there was another dwarf in the mission, they had some dialogue/banter that reacted to what the other commented.
Such as the one comment where a dwarf was thinking whether it was really such a good way to make a living mining rock and stone.
It would be nice if they added more loadout icons. Medic icon for a Bosco built for max revives, biohazard icon for a driller equipped with the corrosive sludge pump, spread icon for an engineer equipped with the shotgun, etc.

I know this is hard to add, but how about adding "variants" to weapon skins? To be able to remove redundant elements. For example, this rifle skin would be just great if not for these fucking sticks!
An achievement for putting the barrels in the drop pod seats, and then insuring no dwarves are inside after the drop pod has successfully launched would be cool and funny.
to make sabotage less awful, i think a good idea would be to make the power stations optional, basically completing them will weaken the caretaker
starting the fight with no stations hacked: caretaker is super strong, needs a really coordinated team or hazard 2 to be possible
hacking 1 station: caretaker is somewhat stronger than as-is
hacking both stations: caretaker is a bit weaker than currently
this would make the fun part of the mission (the boss) be the main focus. it also pleases experienced players because they can challenge themselves and get the mission done fast
btw what i mean by a stronger caretaker is just everything; spawns more minions, more health, eye switches around more often stuff like that, maybe even more attacks

A nice QOL change could be making the use button (e on computer) toggleable
specific voice lines for telling bosco to mine dirt and omeron beamers instead of the mineral voice lines
some like "mine it" still work but others mention minerals specifically which doesn't make sense

Prevent meteors from dropping in after you have started any countdowns "of no return" (point extraction launch or mule button for example). It sucks to have 3 minutes to extract and suddenly the meteor decides to fall down after the whole length of the mission, and you havent got time to do it. Id prefer they cannot spawn at all in these cases

Alternative salvage missions that Don't involve repairing mules and drop pods, such as recovering lost cargo or gear, could be even random events like a satellite thats on a collision course with hoxxes, where you must obtain its data core but the distress becon is too noisy which attracts all the bugs, and the rival bots also detect the signal and are determined to steal your data core
-when you max out the game, you can go to a special location with the drop pod, like an abyss bar...just bigger, maybe some new mission types there

I'm a gunner main who's played a lot with the lead storm, and I'm kind of bummed out there's no overclock that gives higher spindown time. currently the mod that affects that stat seems nearly unnoticeable, and I think it'd be interesting to see what a maxed spindown time would look like, similar to the way you can practically eliminate spinup time using little more oomph/spinup mod.
My current (too specific) idea for the overclock would be "heavy barrel" or "anti-aircraft barrel" with sluggish spinup and slower cooling rate for increased accuracy and slower spindown. slower cooling implies that the barrels have more thickness and therefore take longer for the heat to completely dissipate. Heating up faster does not make sense and is not a downside on most lead storm hot bullets/aggressive venting builds. it would increase the value of cooling mods.

additionally, voicelines for traversal/support tools running out of ammo. running out of ammo on them drowns out lines regarding the tools themselves, so you won't say lines about placing a shield, or an explosive, or a platform. having lines that just get across both ("I'm out of shields"/"that's my last platform"/"flare gun's dry") would be very appreciated
Make it so the Huuli Hoarders time to flee or health scales with number of dwarves on the mission. I play solo mostly and killing this thing is almost impossible by yourself as it burrows away so quickly. Whats worse is half the time the thing gets hit by the environment before I am even aware it is there so it ends up leaving almost the second I become aware of it. They also seem to affect the mineral spawn rates of the caves they spawn in. Maybe it is just me but whenever they spawn I find maybe a 3rd the number of minerals I normally do.
Small suggestion here, a random cave pocket which can spawn which contains several different types of minerals in a concentrated area.

Farfetched but, miner's guild faction loot, cosmetics and skins. Never mind faction-locking and whatnot, you earn them as you do things for the faction, unlocking the opportunity to purchase them, gives miners more things to buy, and even an incentive to change faction chapters to unlock more stuff.
i would like a sticky satchel charge shaped like those spiky chestnuts( like the sticky grenades in HALO). or a stick grenade shaped satchel charge that can be thrown farther so i don't blow up myself or the team.

Call me dumb but maybe adding a few matrix cores to the performance pass ( blank, weapon, and cosmetic). An issue I run into somewhat is that I mainly just don’t have enough time to get any cores in between holiday assignments, daily challenges, and promotions. It would be a good way to at least give matrix cores to those who don’t have enough time to do deep dives or core hunts
New effect type for use in weapons/equipment/overclocks: draw/taunt
Inverse of fear, in the sense that it gives a percent chance to draw enemies within range towards a specific point (and would be resisted by fear resist).
Could be added to the L.U.R.E to make it more likely to draw attention (rather than just another potential target), and could help draw bugs away from downed allies, etc.
It would be particularly good for setting up combo moves with AOE weapons, especially on lower hazards, where the bugs aren't that thick to begin with.
"Damage Dealt to Boss" as an extra statistic on mission completion screen for extermination/sabotage missions

OK, we all have times in game where we have to wait for the mule to come across the map so we can deposit, and those times when teammates fight you over who gets the mule first, so i had the idea of a red perk called MINI MULE, we have already seen them being used in the deep rock universe, now they make sense. there can be 3 levels to the perk, each one increases the storage of the mini mule (I thought having limited storage was a good way to balance this perk more) and slightly makes the mini mule faster compared to the base mule, and since this mini mule needs a name, MILLY seems fitting as its a MINI MOLLY, also, to be more clear, she's YOUR personal mule that only follows you, (i had the idea that you could assign her to a teammate but that seems kind of overpowered), let me know if this idea is any good at all, thx
A new Modifier, known as Megaflora Invasion, where the biomes deadly plant growths show up in absurd numbers and are harder to destroy, with wider open caverns

HOWEVER the BIGGEST change to the room would be a Collectibles shelf, Add like 40 extremely rare Collectibles to the game with achievements tied to them. as you carry them back to the drop pod youll see the collectible appear on your shelf. it would be cool when a new miner joins your station and everyone runs into his room to see how hes decorated and how many collectibles hes managed to find

melee weapons for the different classes like gunner could have a combat knife. driller could have extra mods for the drills (can be anything from more damage or anything) engi could have a sword or something made out of rivel tech robot parts and scout would have knife or a sword
“Bulked” versions of every glyphid, like how exploders have bulk detonators, a glyphid slasher could have something called a “Blade Cluster” or something
If another region of Hoxxes 4 ever gets added, an area that spawns different creature as a glyphid alternative base enemy
a Boomerang type gadget or ability for the Pickaxe to reach those VERY HARD to reach red sugar and other ores in difficult spots. also in a pinch the pickaxe/boomerang would work as a emergency weapon when out of bullets but you can't reach the target normally.
so, this has probably been mentioned a lot of times, but its one that I really would like to see, as it would add a bit more customization and personality to each person - flares
currently the flares are already an 'equipment' option in the equipment terminal, and having some form of upgrades on them would be nice (hell, even an overclock. will get to that soon)
my main idea would be the following:
each person would be able to modify their flares in one of four specific ways
1: brighter light. obvious what it does
2: shorter cooldown. again, obvious what it does. cooldown could be cut by 25%, 50%, whatever
3: higher maximum. allows you to carry more flares total. say 2-3 more
4: longer burn. each thrown flare burns for a longer time. say 10 or 15 seconds more
I feel having these as options would make each person a bit more unique. each class could benefit from each type. scout having a shorter cooldown could mean they could explore faster. gunner having a brighter light being able to see further. engineer having a longer burn allowing them to sit in one spot with their sentries without throwing as many flares, and driller having a higher maximum to allow them to make more complex tunnels
as for those overclocks I mentioned. I haven't thought of any for clean/balanced, though more purely focused on unstable overclocks for them
1: micro flares - flares emit much less light, but are faster to charge, and you carry more
2: mega flare - one big, bulky flare. has a much longer recharge time, and cant be thrown far at all, but has some bright light, and lasts a decent amount of time
3: cluster flares - less total flares, and a longer recharge, though throwing one flare pops into multiple miniflares, similar to the cluster bomb
4: clip on hook - completely removes the ability to throw flares. however, you are given a 'clip on hook', and your dwarf glows. effect is only 75% as effective as the high intensity flare
I have other ideas for other things, such as the ability to see others loadouts, and firing range/horde mode things, but, that could be another time

This sounds like it may not make any sense, it would allow for multiple consistency errors to be fixed.
Azure Weald is stated to be adjacent to magma core on the map, but in the load screen the drop pod goes to the small chunk that floats off of Hoxxes while Magma Core is below.
This would also fix how despite the fact that all of the zones are simply stated to only take up a small portion of the map they actually cover the entire surface.
Cryocannon should cool down magma and hot rock so you can walk on it. Similar to the flamethrower melting snow and ice.

unsure if it has been said but just in case: keep the random promotions sure they're great but at least make them similar to teh weeklies(as in whatever mission it is its shared between everybody for a day/week) so that they're the same and people can group up
rare enemies made of or encrusted with various minerals that we can get after we kill them. they would be almost like a golem but made of bismore or other types of minerals.
a mission type where all resources are mined from lootbugs. it could be a lootbug infestation mission. to control an expolsive outbreak of the lootbug population. also add more variety to the contents of a lootbug.
Molly should have multiple drop pod buttons. Kinda like on machine events with the implication that each member should press one before the drop pod comes. Would mostly help with console games where we can't use chat quickly to ask if everyone is ready.

perhaps some "end-game" use for phazyonite and blank cores to make cosmetic cores. the bare bones idea being ~100 phazyonite + blank core = cosmetic core (and only cosmetic cores).

How about letting us "wipe out" glypid swarmer tunnels (just stopping them from spawning from those)? To do that you need 1 out of 4 grenades: neurotoxin (driller), plasma (engineer), incendiary (gunner) or the cryo ones (scout). Toss a grenade into or near the tunnels and no swarmers will spawn there anymore

Currently, On-site Refining is a fun mission but I feel like it is a lot shorter than most other missions.
The Morkite Wells will be placed much further from the Refinery and from each other, and they can be spread around the Refinery instead of being placed close, but not next to each other.

I have a suggestion for a Multiplayer function. A Multiplayer pause that takes effect when everyone is in the Escape Menu during a mission. I play with my family in DRG, and we have days when Reality just demands attention that needs tending. We would like to pause whenever such incursions rise, rather than having to risk losing the mission just to tend real life.
When playing a refinery mission, I’ve noticed a bug where if you complete the lithophage breakout before starting up the refinery. After you finish the refinery, MC will mention how you just need to finish the cleanup of lithopage and you’re done. Instead of correcting it, would it be possible to change the line to him recognizing he messed up his checklist. Maybe a few different types of lines where he acknowledges that’s it’s already done. Like how with quests he has a chance to congratulate you early for finishing all missions.

If volatile bullets is ever nerfed. I have a proposal that would keep balance AND not upset VB users. Instead of reducing the bonus damage, reduce the base damage. The penalty of damage is increased from -10 to -15 or -20. This would partially solve the up front problem of extreme damage, but more importantly solves the “hidden” problem that isn’t why people use VB: taking 1 damage mod on VB negates the downside, while still having good ammo. VB is not enough of a commitment when you take it. What we are doing here is the same thing that was done to bullets of mercy. The only difference is, we aren’t increasing the upside, because the upside is already very extreme.
If this penalty is increased, VB will need to take both damage mods in order to have 60 base damage (which is needed if you want to use the bulldog “normally”).
As for 40 base damage being too low for the 4x multiplier to compete with elephant rounds/homebrew powder: it’s not too low. 40*4 = 160, and for ER to rival that, it would need both damage mods, so no ammo.
tl;dr: reducing the base damage of VB would balance it out while not angering volatile bullets fans
can we give the ENGINEER the ability to scavenge/recover any missplaced platforms to save on ammo. i think this would be a huge help. i see many missfired platforms in videos and much regret when they then need those later.

i think a harpoon gun would be an awesome addition to the weapon selection, being a weapon for hunting the biggest Earth animals ever i think it would be right at home on Hoxxes. It would work similar to the boltshark, but less focused on utility and far more so on huge single-target damage. the drawbacks would be zero AoE/crowd control (without using unstable overclocks, I assume), firing a possibly slow projectile and being single-shot. it MUST also be able to pin bugs (dead or alive, whatever balance requires) to surfaces. i'm not sure what class would have it (maybe an engi secondary, since he seems to get the big secondaries). It does fill a similar role to hyper-propellant PGL, but this hasn't been an issue in the past (minigun and diffractor also share similar roles) and the rule of cool applies imo.
Biome-specific voice lines, like the one for the current elite deep dive: "While I love the feeling of sand between my toes, the boots stay on because I love having toes"
Please update the screenshots on the steam store page for the supporter upgrade. I'm happy to support the devs, but am pretty disappointed that the armor is not as depicted in those screenshots. The one line of text stating "This is now a Paintjob and can be applied to all armors" and the showcase far into the video are the only notices of the change.
Before having looked into it and learning that they were updated, I was under the impression that you'd get the (old) new sets of armor since they clearly look quite different if you've been playing already. The scout's especially really caught my eye in the screenshots but it looks completely different in-game with the blue undersuit. And the Gunner's plates are different, with lots of green bits added.

A mission type or warning: escalated plague
mission control: "we have news that meteors have struck the rivals, good news that they're destroyed, bad news is that the plague has taken advantage of their empty metal shells turning them into plague spreading zombie robots"
-infected rivals are tougher, have weak spots, flying enemies are slower, and make distorted sounds
-infected basic turrets fire plague bullets that deal less damage and are less accurate
-repulsion turrets lob small plague projectiles and only shoot shields on a single side instead of multiple
-sniper turrets fire slower bullets and less damaging plague bullets
-infected prospector lobs plague projectiles, calls infected glyphids and infected patrol bots
-infected patrol bots can't fly high off the ground, fire inaccurate plague bullets and missiles, and cannot be hacked
-nemesis can't fly high off the ground, cannot use repulsion shields, it's breakable armor blocks it's weak spots, still grabs close dwarves
-nemesis calls for help in a distorted voice instead of making intimidating voice lines like "nemesis seeks maintenance" and "I am error error error"
For the kursite event, it is very noticeable for the acid spitter version that the enemies just don’t seem to spawn fast enough.
Maybe lowering the amount of kursite required for the acid spitter version by about 15-20% would make this version of the even much fairer
New machine event
A new weekly item shop has been requested before. Here is my take: Once every Dwarf has been promoted once a new section in the existing item shop will open. This shop updates weekly with a small selection of core and lost pack cosmetics. This had also the added effect of giving the shop a reason to visit once all normal cosmetics have been purchased.
you can get taken away by the drop pod and still fail the mission.
if the drop pod timer runs out, and the pod starts launching, you can still jump on it and climb inside before the door closes, and get carried up by it.
but the mission is still a failure. i can see why mechanically this is the case, the cutoff is when the timer reaches zero.
however from a gameplay perspective being able to get on the escape shuttle but not have the mission a success feels very off.
maybe a second check once the doors close for dwarfs in the shuttle would make the game feel just a little better in this specific edge case.
I've playing haz 5 for a while and more things to kill feels great but all that extra meat to grind could have even more spice into it.
I suggest more CC and DoT to the bugs, especially those who spit long ranged things, to give support to the hordes. Leave that web spitter to the green beards and brew some alt variants that spit acid (that would do lots DoT if shield is down), pheromone that would make the insects go berserk (move faster, attack faster) and sticky goo to slow the movement and perhaps jam weapons or crippling the fire rate, reload timing etc.
A bit of a maybe redundant suggestion, but I love the pheromone items that scout has, and I feel like it'd be nice to know what bugs are affected by it. Not those under the effects of the status effect, but the ones attracted to the pheromone-covered bugs.
Maybe give them a little glow like steve but red when targeting a 'friendly' bug, because sometimes it takes the bugs a bit to turn around and you might not get the full benefits of the grenade/bolt. Probably a trivial suggestion but would be nice quality of life, I guess.
Suggestion to add buttons to copy Loadouts and specific appearance of a loadout so you don't have to do things from scratch when making new one.

Hmm maybe make the minigun eat more ammo per shot but also fire at 11 rpm and fire 4 pellets a shot with more armour breaking to compensate for the weaker pellets
so from 2 ammo 1 pellet 10 damage to 4 ammo 4 pellets 2.5 damage per pellet
Add more ways to get OC's and lower the amount of OC's
Problems:
• There is a big time hard cap for new players to get all OC's. You can't play more in a short amount of time to get more OC's, which is frustrating for those that already move onto higher difficulties but still don't have an OC for every weapon that they use. I believe the number was ~21 weeks to get all weapon OC's and that will only increase in the future.
• There are 101 cosmetic overclocks, but that's for each class, which increases that number to 404... I don't think it's rewarding to unlock a cool cosmetic but only be able to use it for one class. That only increases the time needed to unlock everything for the sake of increasing said time.
Possible fixes:
• Add more assignments after reaching certain player levels that reward you with a few OC's
• Reward the player with one OC for every promotion (1st star is blank, 2nd is weapon & 3rd is cosmetic), that adds a small optional reward for promoting past the first promotion!
• Combine the same cosmetic overclocks into one (from 404 to 101), unlocking a cosmetic OC should unlock it for all classes. Let us use the drip as we want to! 👀
Make it so you can befriend lootbugs either a perk or by feeding them and if you feed them/befriend them enough they will sniff out gold and nitra for the player to get, but you have to feed them a little every time or they leave
Morkite mining missions are fantastic as they are, just a simple goal and a simple way to reach it. However, I often find that these missions lack substantial amounts of morkite sometimes and I'm left to be scrounging around for any tiny bits of morkite I can find. My account is currently level 70, and I still have trouble finding all of the morkite for these missions. All I'm asking is for, in the final room of these missions, to have a couple more veins of morkite there. 3 or 4 times now these missions have lasted upwards of 35 minutes for me.
perhaps improve the DRG server (connection server, not discord). I find that i'm constantly being disconnected from games (and no its not my wifi, i've already checked that dozens of times). I have no clue why this issue occurs so often, but its just a quality of life thing that would be nice to be improved upon. Even adding an easy reconnect button if you disconnect from a game would be amazing! (yes i know there's one for game crashes, but its not the same thing)

New enemy: The R.A.T.S (Rotary Array Terrain System) [Name Pending]
- This is a new set of malfunctioning equipment that was rushed out of R&D before they found out that it does in fact attack dwarves as well as glyphids.
- It takes the appearance of a vast array of small burrowing turrets that will hide in any surface along the walls, ceiling, or floor.
- They are designed to fire at anything that strays too close to them for too long, blinking a warning light for two seconds before opening fire unless the target backs away, where they are now vulnerable.
- It is unadvised to do so however as the destruction of one will alert all other turrets in the nearby area to rise to their defense, with a longer warning mode of 5 seconds before being shredded into hamburger.
- It is best to avoid them rather than attempt to destroy them. - A R.A.T.S system can be easily spotted by the slight ticking noise that each turret makes, the studs peppering the surrounding caves that are the hiding holes for each turret, and the cave walls being splattered by the blood of unfortunate glyphids from prior engagements.
- In the center of the hive is the initial deployment pod and the central computer of the R.A.T.S system and it can be dealt with by walking your short stubby asses towards the box and simply interacting with it. This will bring out a hacking minigame where you will install a hotfix to the software, fixing the bug that makes it fire at dwarves and permanently turning the area into a save zone for miners and a hell for the rest of Hoxes.
i want to see an alternative to the HOVERBOOTS. i am thinking PLATFORMSHOES. these will have a cool down but will allow any player equiped with them to place a platform once in a set amount of time. the recharge for the shoes would be about 2-4 flares time between uses but you would need to be by a wall or something to use it or else the platform has nothing to attach to. this will also help if you have no engineer on the team.
Make Karl the 5th class in DRG lore
Suit and tie armors and a proper top hat with a eye monocle (not all patched up) and maybe even a victory pose with a dapper cane

I like the current amount of voicelines in-game when petting Steeve, but they get repetitive after a while, and I wanted to suggest a couple ideas I came up with for new ones:

(Ive dubbed Extermination)
goal: clear the cave of an extensive bug infestation
do the regular gathering of resources but then call down a "bug beacon" which will summon a large swarm of enemies which will last a decent amount of time. Once the swarm is over the beacon will return to the space rig, then go to another part of the cave and do it again but this swarm will be much bigger with more tankier bugs (like bulks, oppressors, brundles, praetorians)
repeat like, 2-4 times with maybe the final 1-2 beacons summoning a dreadnought?
maybe make it so larger glyphids drop some nitra so the players don't easily run out or make the caves generate with more nitra and less gold.
Give cryo cannon a better “Inspect” animation
Right now the animation is just lifting it up a few inches then returning to normal. Very underwhelming for its design

We should be able to pet Bosco. We can pet Breathers, Doretta, Lootbugs etc. but not Bosco? I was surprised to notice this.
i would love to see some different shapes for minerals like gold, nitra and dystrum

i have some quality of life mods installed, and honestly the necessity for me to have them really makes me question the reason why i need to install them in the first place.
HAND/WRIST HEALTH
- Why is there a sprint button with infinite sprint that has no purpose other than making the player move faster? Just remove sprint and make the sprint speed the default walk speed. I don't want to have to hold shift for 90% of the mission, that makes my pinky sore.
- Similarly, having to spam jump in a game that encourages lots and lots of jumping can also hurt my thumb. Auto-bhop should be a thing.
INFORMATION & READABILITY
- I think it's a crime that you can overpromote from Legend 3 and not receive any extra bling or clout
- Default weapon viewmodels take up far too much screen real estate for me and it's frustrating to not have a default viewmodel minmode option. I still like looking at them, of course, but I don't want them right next to my face.
- The platform placement preview mod has literally changed my engineer experience entirely for the positive and should become base game
- Blast radius is in a similar spot. The pulsing effect is cool but not entirely accurate to the true blast radius.
- Having to do mental math in my head to figure out if I'm below 50% ammo for a resupply is a bit dumb... other games tell you when your ammo is low, why not DRG?
- Mission control making everything else quieter is unnecessary as his voice is distinct enough from the sounds of normal gameplay to be able to understand, especially when you mute him
- Having to divert my eyes to the corner of the screen in order to check overheating can be fatal in high-intensity situations and there should be an indicator on the crosshair.
ACCESSIBILITY & MOTION SICKNESS
- Turret spotlights should be disabled with photosensitivity mode on
- Downed spectating can be nauseating since your view while spectating other players is locked to their facing angle. Spectating should be improved.
I was thinking about a few new traversal weapons.
jetpack, x amount of fuel use by holding jump
terrain gun, sucks up terrain and shoots out to build off the ground/walls.
The jackhammer, a gun that shoots a drill head for x distance. Drilling an 1 player wide hole.
Cybernetic Limb Implant for Massive Bouldering. (C.L.I.M.B.). Cybernetic limbs that allows you to climb/stand on walls for x duration
back blades that you unlock after promoting a class for the first time for instance the scout would get a grappling hook back blade the driller would get a drill back blade the gunner would get a magazine back blade and the engie would get a sentry back blade (listen i'm tryin i don't know what they should be i'm just spit ballin here i just think they should be centered around the class that was promoted) this would get more choices for fashion in game and more people would play to get their characters promoted faster

Blasphemy is what this is, but I'd like to suggest for the Hiveguard boss to be shortened somewhat, as I felt that Hiveguards take an unusually longer amount of time to take down compared with twins and the classic dreadnought.
Maybe make it that the Hiveguard's front weakpoints are exposed when the rear weakpoint is closed, but give the sentinels the ability to buff the hiveguard's damage resistance against incoming gunfire when they are near her, sort of like how the queen's guardians would defend her against intruders, and the dwarves can choose to either kill the sentinels first, or just go straight for the Hiveguard.
Can the volume of the Coffee Stain splash screen be reduced, or the Master sound level be applied before the sound is played?
It blasts my ears every time I start the game, and my Master volume is set to 10 %, because DRG is just so damn loud
I slowly start to feel like I'm going deaf here 
When an enemy affected by chem bolt explodes, it should pass on the status to nearby enemies hit by the aoe...
Or something more exciting, like constantly explode while it's still alive.
add new drinks like the "Rootbeer Float" it gives you a slow-fall or moon-jump effect during your next mission.

Secondary weapon idea for the Driller;
the "Marauder" Combat Shotgun
"Against the larger threats that dwell within Hoxxes, handguns and flamethrowers may prove to be ineffective. The Marauder, however, packs enough punch to destroy just about anything you point it at, along with your wrists."
The Marauder is a deadly pump-action shotgun that specializes in taking down large targets, it lacks the ability to perform quick follow-up shots, so avoid using it on cannon fodder and make each shot count.
- Massive 8 gauge shells deal respectable damage with a relatively tight spread.
- Additional damage is dealt to a target if all pellets hit an enemy's weakpoint.
- Due to the pistol grip and shortened barrel it's equipped with, the Marauder has high recoil and a dramatic increase in spread with each shot.
If overclocks are ever add for utility, I want one for gunners shield that changes it into a deployable cover like the amped wall from titanfall. Lasts a super long time and covers you front, but leaves you exposed in the back and top. Still fears bugs that get close, but they can go around behind you
Capitalizing on this:
-one for scout’s grappling hook that increases range but also the cooldown time
-One for the zipline gun, “Elevator”, that offers unlimited angle but can either be knocked off easily or can’t use the “go faster” feature when descending
-“Trampoline” overclock for engineer’s platform gun which makes them bouncy (makes cartoon “boi-oi-oi-yoing” sound bc funny)
-Flare gun overclock that doubles duration but halves ammo
-Another that adds a fear factor so bugs stay away from lit flares
-Overclock for Sentries that gives them infinite ammo but now finite health
bet-c's step dirt effects should be white instead of brown in glacial strata
When you are solo and complete the mission you get the bosco at the end screen with you (perhaps doing some emote like your dwarf does) maybe the same would apply to steve if you extract with him alive

A brewery assignment like to get brewing ingredients from doing missions, I'm not getting any new assignments lately and I'm joining just to Hoard Yeast Cones, I know it's not a necessary thing, and it'll probably be not even worth the effort but like I hate having to rely on rng to get my favourite brew

if we abort a single player mission, the mission end credits should be able to be played back faster. we know that we ended our mission, and we aren't very impressed with how many kills we got when we were trying to test a grenade trick

I just played a game with 3 Greenbeards and we had a meteor fall, multiple smaller meteors fall and a random Dreadnaught spawn. No idea if this has been suggested before but how about some sort of shooting-range room on the space rig where you can try out your new guns, mods and overclocks etc.? Either with target dummies (tranquilzed Glyphids?) or without would be fine. Just so we don't have to load into a new mission just to try out a tweak on our loadouts. It's not a big problem, but occasionally dwarves join my games just to test for a few mins then they leave again. Leaf Lovers I tell ya!

HE-grenades remain one of the least popular Driller grenades, while the ability to cook the grenades was a step in the right direction. The problem remains however is that they still don't do anything that the other Driller weapons already do, which is grunt crowd control
What I suggest to make it more unique and more Driller like is to rename it to "Concentrated-Acid Grenade" which now deals part explosive damage but also corrosive damage, on top of dispersing into a few puddles of acid sludge in all directions on exploding.
It dealing corrosive damage makes it very efficient at taking out groups of Mactera in a quick burst with the right cook duration, which would be an attractive choice as normally Macteras are a tough enemy to take out for Drillers, and giving a new way to create sludge would synergize with flamethrower builds to light goo on fire

Should scale perfectly with Phosphorus Bullets and work well with armor break and blowthrough.
Less direct damage and an immense heat bonus.
Players Can Suggest Missions
Literally what it sounds like. Since the host is the only one who can select a mission, it would be nice if other players could "suggest" a mission in hopes that the host would pick it.
Maybe with a little pop-up tab or a marker on the mission that was suggested?
While a good host would typically do other people's assignments, some lobbies might not be doing assignments and someone might find a mission in a specific biome with minerals they may need/fun and useful mutators
This isn't really game changing but I think it would be handy for servers with 4 people just vibing and doing whatever sounds fun

You should have a leaning technique or scope on sum guns. And to make things even more fun there should be a sliding technique

new type of mission: lonely wolf
The last miner died on a mission to extract data from competitors. However, our radars picked up strange movements in those caves - probably a bosco, in whose memory there is data on the place of death of a dwarf who stole data on competitors. The purpose of the mission is to find the bosco hiding in fear in the depths of the caves, give him a new supply, find the data following the bosco, and pet the bosco, he tried very hard.

Buffs to some of the non meta perks like Berserker and especially Beast Master. Everyone and their mom runs Iron Will and Dash and they're incredibly impactful. With lesser impact perks like these I feel like at the very LEAST we could reduce the cooldown a bit. 5 minutes per steeve is insane....or let us have up to 3 steeves/heal them when the cooldown comes off.

The idea of a new Overclocks came to my drunken head.
The first of them is the OC "Slug rounds". This is the OC for the shotgun(s), for example, now we have less spread and 1 pellet, but this is the damage scale of the number of pellets without OC. For example, with any upgrade we get 10 units of damage and 6 pellets, then e with OC will deal 60 units of damage in total. Also, if you improve the number of pellets, the damage will increase.
The second is "explosive bullets" also for shotgun. I see 2 types of this.
- Like minelayer OC's which all knows.
- Like drak-25 T4 upgrade which convert direct damage into AoE.
Think this will be cool and fun.

I wish for improved Deck support. I the game doesn't like mixed inputs. Its a little random but it would add to the atmosphere of the caves. It would get all over the dwarves and bugs alike for the real spelunking feel. Maybe you could even cover yourself with it and bugs can’t see you like in predator but you can’t move or shoot at all to balance it.
Edit: I just now realized that the bugs don’t have thermal vision or even eyes for that matter so maybe the mud muffles the dwarves sounds and makes them not be able to be smelled idk 🤷♂️
Maybe in the future if water is added it could mix with dirt to make mud too

Situation-dependent revive barks. Imo this can really spice up the feeling of reward for clutch revives during swarms or those during escapes. Example 1 during swarm: "Stop lying around and aim that gun at that sea of teeth!" Example 2 during escape countdown: "Those mugs over at the bar ain't gonna drink itself, get up!"

Some of the existing neutral-color hats, like the derby hat or the 16-tons grey flatcap, would look rad in Uniform color palettes. A uniform-color cowboy hat variant as well. There's a lot of good hat models that don't quite blend with a lot of outfit colors and making Uniform variants would help that a lot.

during the mission you encounter giant worms that dig through the earth and basically block of an area for a short period of time.
before they arrive they always give an aoe warning like meteors. the worm will leave a ball of compacted dirt which could hold resources.
if a dwarf cannot clear the area and gets eaten by the worm he will be grabbed and cannot be freed untill the worm leaves and then must be mined out of the ball of compacted dirt to be freed.

for future events, please don't have a constantly playing music in the space rig like in yuletide, or at least please give us the option to disable it without muting music entirely. it can become annoying quite quickly.

please have the time required for server timeout be significantly longer, or let us rejoin the host if we get disconnected. it's infuriating to see all of your mission progress gone with you getting absolutely nothing in return.
For the record, I'm aware a lot of people don't like my suggestions, because they are with intent of making the game harder, one of my suggestions is giving the bulk detonator a ranged attack, it's too easy to kill them with a decent group. I would prefer if it could become a lot harder by giving it an advantage such as range.
Legacy deep dives basically the old ones that you can no longer play
if you make a 5th class can it be a trap master/hunter who can both lay traps/bait and tame more that 1 beast. it would make a bit more of a crowd control type class by i see great potential for it. mostly in swarmageddon type situations and such. this class is more of a bodyguard i guess. but if paired with any other it is very obvious how helpful it would be.

The ability to "open" a solo game to the public while the game is in progress could be a nice addition. This would allow a player that changed their minds to play with others without losing the progress they've already made on a level.
we always get meteorites landing in our caves and i think its weird that they always land and never pass us
so i would like to suggest that they should pass us and if that were to be done, other things like drop pods or supply pods could pass us as well as mini event/world building
there is of course the problem that they would leave a hole
i think that problem could be solved by making a dust cloud around it once it reaches the ground and rubble being left behind after the dust settles so that there is no hole

New overclock idea for smart rifle: turret processer relay
After an incident involving a misplaced pair of spectacles, r&d has come up with a new way of improving your turret using the processing power from the LOK
gain the ability to lock onto turrets with the smart rifle, with each lock level increasing its targeting speed, damage, and fire rate

the ability to carry downed teammates out of dangerous areas like a enor pearl. sometimes we revive and then die again because its got lava ground we are surrounded by thorns. if we can just yeet a downed player towards a teammate who can safely revive them or just yeet them into the pod it will be cool.

if a player leaves mid match and does not return does their minerals they carry disappear with them? if so please make a penalty for those who show up and then "steal" from those who choose to stay, if the people do not return after a small amount of time or if they join another match. failing objectives because of thieves just sucks. so if they do that return the minerals in the form of a "special lootbug" so we can get the minerals and plants and stuff they took back.
