Anybody noticing Doretta's screams when you throw her head having attentuation issues? That is, they are barely audible as soon as her head leaves your immediate presence. I'm noticing this right now as I am testing a Doretta SFX mod I'm updating, but it applies to files I have yet to modify and I need to confirm it's not something I did accidentally.

I am 98% certain it is an actual game bug and not a modding error on my part.

My guess is that the new separate attenuations that were made for her severed head that limits how far away they can be heard to being the carrier are the issue, and the problem is her screams disappear immediately when she moves more than 1/3 meter away from you. If you throw her, no sound, but if you pick her up fast enough you can hear the tail end of her scream suddenly cut in.

What i've noticed recently, especially when playing scout, is, if there's a lot of bugs chasing in a large open area(spawned from a swarm), big part of them will not follow you, instead they will remain stationary at various positions, making them placed out pretty much anywhere you'd grapple to. Then they aggro when you get close. This doesn't happen in small areas/low bug count, but it's really unfair

Subscribing to the mods is the same as installing them. You can then choose to turn them on or not.

I have recently had 2-player escort missions (haz 4) where swarm sizes and floating rock spawn were at a 4-player level (so far too many rocks to take out, 7/8 at a time). I've tried purchasing accessories with Phazyonite (Specifically hair colors), and while it takes the currency, levels up my cosmetic mastery level, and adds them to my wardrobe, when I close the game, and reopen it later, the hair colors are gone from my wardrobe, and back into the store with my phazyonite gone, and my cosmetic level still up. I've done so a few times now, chalking it up to misremembering or the transaction having failed to go through, but after a few attempts, I can definitely say it's done so every time, no matter what hair color I try buying. I'm uh, starting to run real low on Phazyonite, I've lost a good 250~300 to this bug now, and I don't know what to do from there.

So, both instances I was solo haz4 driller with Cryo Cannon and EPC:
In the Radiation Zone, I was doing the Kursite Machine Event w/ it spawning Mactera. At the last one I needed (5/6) it stopped spawning the Mactera and I couldn't complete it. I was looking all around and I couldn't find any nor see any dropped kursite.

The other I found amusing. I was taking cryo damage in the Magma Core I'm blown up areas (I believe it was salvage ops?)

Got an interesting one yesterday, and how to fix it incase anyone else sees it

If you're riding a Mobula Cave Angel and get snatched by a Mactera Grabber, when you get dropped, you lose access to your weapons. You'll have the reticle for whatever you had out when you started riding the angel, and nothing else.

Fix is going down and getting res'd.

Presumably, you can also fix it by getting grabbed again, or maybe riding a cave angel again.

You can't swap weapons, attack at all, or even use your pick during the bug. You can still call out and salute. When I recovered, it fired all my weapons once, simultaneously. Including support tools!

This could be why sometimes Taser Bolt's arc damage won't register at all on enemies. Disconnection from the main bolt itself seem to somehow nullify the arc damage.

I've got Molly stuck at start of the 3rd stage of solo Deep Dive. I think the problem is in the invisible ground generated in resulf of Molly's drop animation. It cant just despawn properly and Molly gets stuck.

hello yall, I've been having problems recently where I join a game, everything is fine for a while, but eventually, everything starts to freeze. I can move around and shoot my guns (sometimes) but I can't throw flares, damage enemies, type in chat, or pretty much anything else. Dwarves and bugs freeze, and after a minute or so I lose connection. Sometimes if I'm lucky, the game unfreezes and all of my attempted chat messages get through. Usually though, it just sends me back to the space rig. I have the brighter objects mod installed, which makes things like fossils, ebonuts, and booloo caps more visible. It's a verified mod, but I don't think that is the issue because I never crash playing solo, and disabling the mod doesn't seem to do anything. I've verified game files, but nothing seems to work. Anybody else experiencing this?

I don't know what I can tell you, it's an error I've seen several times with people using lower GPU models than the required models. They are often able to play for a little while but it ends up crashing with that error after some time :/

every couple of multiplayer games I join, I crash from the server and lose connection but the game doesn't crash. I downloaded a program that monitors my internet and it wasn't going down during these crashes but idk if it was a true test.

I think alt tabbing is causing my game to crash

I have been consistently crashing about once every 5 games or so for the past 3 months and this has never happened in my like 300 hours of play time

But I've noticed if I alt tab my game will start getting weird audio peaks and lag spikes until I close and re open the game

The only other issue ive had with DRG that I think could be related is I used to have a weird thing where if I hit push to talk my game drop to like 5 fps until I let go, but that stopped about a year ago

For those who are having trouble with Xbox status and failing friend invites, I have a solution.

Create a public server that is password protected, and give said friend the password.

For some reason the game keeps refusing to use my dedicated graphics card to run. Sometimes it'll do so for a few hours, but then a little bit later my game lags out and I check my task manager to see that my weak intel card is struggling to render the game while my nvidia card is barely doing anything, despite using nvidia control panel to guarantee that the game is supposed to run on the dedicated nvidia card. I checked online but couldn't find any answers that worked for me. Already tried updating drivers, windows, restarting computer, etc. I'm running the game on low visual settings without dx12 and unlimited frame rate and vsync but that doesn't seem to have an effect. I am playing on my laptop with Intel integrated HD graphics, i always check drivers for new versions, and those crashes started to appear only after Season 2 update. And as i know, this is also an engine update.
And the funny thing is...
Sea of Thieves, another game on UE4, has no problems like that. I can play the whole day without any crash of lags.

I have encountered a problem recently, that I have a hard time joining lobbies (friends' or through server list) without using a VPN. 99% of times I get a message "Multiplayer session ended" and I end up at the space rig, all alone :(. Is there a known fix for this? With VPN there are no issues, but my latency is pretty bad when I join other people and vice versa.

I hope I describe it clearly (it's no bug I guess): If you played in other player lobby and open a new own lobby and game, but your game crashes, you will get a reconnect option, but only for the previously lobby, not your own. So I guess, there should no option to connect to the lobby you leaved before.

Hello guys, I'm having huge latency issues since a few days I don't know what is happening. I'm jumping from 100ms to +999ms multiple times during a min, having rollbacks of stuff I was doing IG as well as cancelling many actions (jump, grappling hook, pipe riding, etc...).

You're using dx12 and your CPU is a bottleneck. Even if your other components were utilized further, with dx12 enabled and your specific hardware configuration, it would only generate excess heat.

okay, i've done more testing. it doesn't appear to be based on cave complexity or length; originally it was happening under max complexity and length caves, but it'll happen sometimes randomly in lobby too and require a restart. attached you can see my FPS, CPU and GPU usage statistics according to HWmonitor. for some reason HWmonitor says my GPU usage is constantly at 100 but i think that's just a bug, and probably will just trust task manager on this one

Hello! For some reason, my PC started to have rare crashes in DRG. It looks like this: usually near end of the level, when the drop pod closes

• Screen goes black
• I can hear game sound until it goes to lobby (which I drop from and don't receive rewards)
• I can hear people on discord / teamspeak etc. but I cannot respond
• Keyboard suddenly stop responding with mouse
• After 3-4 minutes discord/teamspeak/etc. also goes silent
• Have to manually restart PC

Did somebody encountered this particular crash before?

This wasn't always a thing, because I was able to play a few missions with the goo gun, but for months now if I or someone in my mission shoots a charged goo shot, it freezes my computer and I have to shut it down for it to function again. I am on steam, I have tried both directx12 and 11. I am on manjaro linux, and gpu driver updates should come through the package manager, which currently doesn't have any queued. I may have to go digging deeper in there though, might be that something isn't working in that process

It's not the audio drivers. Only DRG has the problem. All other media works and sounds fine.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled with absolutely no effect.

If I get a bunch of enemies on the screen and hold the trigger down, sometimes it chops so bad, I just lose audio completely until there's less enemies.

I know I can't be the only one who's dealt with this.

Hello and thanks for your time. Am new to the DRG channel. I uninstalled and reinstalled DRG (on my Windows version it seems to be the best way to update the game) because I thought that recent connection issues with my friends were update-related. When I reinstalled the game it showed the Windows Sync as usual, but when I booted it up it took me back to the tutorial and my two years of progress were gone. I have tried just about everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled, rolled my game back to a previous file, rolled my system back a month, and even gave myself ownership of all of my pc's files but nothing has worked. I really think it is a cloud problem. If there is any help you all could give or possibly even better, a email address to the devs so I could ask them directly it would be much appreciated Rock and Stone

PS also tried the in-game option of restoring saves but all it said was "Failed to retrieve cloud saves"

The bug for refined morkite missions only spawning in two wells has been closed because it could not be reproduced. I had this happen to me yesterday and I didnt take a screenshot of it. Please keep an eye out for it cause when you dont realise that its a bug you spend half an hour trying to find a well that is not there

Ah, thank you. We got into the save folder but the only save was from after the issue, even after restoring the system (windows) to before the problem. The other weird thing is that there are now two locations for it, one associated with the windows store and another associated to this Xbox app. Neither have a save file that gets his progress back.

I attempted deep dive 6 times.

I keep having issues while on 2nd or 3rd stage loading screen.

When hosting, my teammates get kicked out, and I find myself fighting solo.

When joining, i get the connection lost prompt and I get on the ship, without any loot or exp.

Tried looking online for solutions, only found out I'm one of maaaany who have encountered this issue, couple of them straight up quit drg and never came back.

Any suggestions?
Stuff I ccould try to fix it?

P.S. while in the loading screen, the game freezes for couple of seconds, and if I press shift tab, the Steam Overlay says "Disconnected".

If I dare to join missions that are far from me I lag a little in the middle of big swarms (once o twice), but I guess that's to be expected

• Make sure all parties have synced their system clock. Verify that you do not have Gamefirst VI, or similar software, installed on your system. This is malware installed without the users consent via an Asus Armoury Crate update.
• check if your firewall/antivirus allows DRG to use your connection
• disable your VPN if you're using one
• check the app authorisation
