Ed’s bug when we tried to lure boss away

I've noticed very consistently that aquarqs are way less frequent than they should be and there's barely enough if only just the exact amount you need on the map

Also, nemesis should not be able to insta-grab delete me if I'm late joining through gunner shield, it is infuriating

if u subscribed to any mods on drg.mod.io, it will auto download (but not install, that requires a reload)

I have seen multiple times the full-heat but not overheating (white fire indicator), on patrol bots, nemesis, repulsion turrets
Also, as client, I get phantom goo bomber audio playing (it sounds like it's moving around me as if there's a goo bomber still alive), but I don't see anything and if does exist it's not attacking anyone
i just got flanked by a crassus detonator AND regular bulk detonator, and i killed the normal one first
the crassus detonator's explosion didnt create ANY gold at all
Would I need to report an issue I experienced awhile back that caused my steam account to lose ALL progress I made in the game on the JIRA bug page? I literally uninstalled and refused to play when this happened because I thought it was gone forever. I'm hoping someone can assist with recovering it otherwise I refuse to re-grind it all again
I had to reload a save upon launching the game today
my wifi cutout last night, so I just went to bed
came back today and it tried to give me the tutorial, I reloaded a save from 2 days ago, but I lost all my progress from yesterday

I think theres some sort of steam desync on the saved progress. So I lost hours of progress all the back to nothing

if you're the client and using the crossbow (possibly with bodkin) sometimes when you should have hit a bug (and it makes the hit sound) it will still do no damage

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned, rubber banding is far worse since the engine update. I would suspect old net code not liking the new engine. Dunno if it's been reported

seriously what the fuck is happening to me today every time the drop pod is called my connection gets interrupted
Looking for some feedback, the Robot Rebellion Weapon skin is grey chipped metal for all classes, despite showing chipped metal in the respective class colour in the weapon skin select screen. My take on this is, that technically it should be the same chipped metal colour as the armor paintjob class respective.

So i got a odd issue, just updated the game to the new update and it refuses to go past the loading scene with the dwarf running until it simply goes to a black screen, have tried validating files and it was no help.

Uh, I own all loot from Lost Packs and have verified that. However, I click them anyways and this time, it said I have unlocked the Frigid Tiger armor paintjob with a Driller icon. Thought it was just a little bug until I learn that I can now equip it on my driller sets. I am only playing with verified mods, none of which give me different class paints. Big fan of this, but I know that DRG is a little scuffed atm
so I have had everything from lost packs for a while. It just gave me "splattered" for driller, which I have had for a very long time. When I got it from the pack it also did not display any icon, just the name of the skin. Now I somehow have two splattered skins for driller. one looks like it always has, and the one I got just now actually looks like the gunner's splattered skin. A friend of mine I was playing with also got it and could equip it. What?

If you pull out the lazer pointer or pickaxe it breaks the swap between your last 2 weapons (q on pc)

As for the faze, if you haven’t already, I say an easy fix would be to use leave team, as it warps you back to your quarters. As for the bug itself if you reported it already then I think things should be good, neat glitch tho

I say refer to this and see how it works as well as documenting anything you could before the bug and bring it to the reports,
from what me and my friend have seen, only I can do it (we suspect it's some ping related issue or desync)
and you really need to be searching for it to find it
I did it by spam running and jumping into a pole which eventually I phased into quickly, and then to the right, which was OOB

we phase into the pipe, which then attempts to spit us out, but accidently ends up sending us to the wrong side, which results in us going OOB
Much more likely, since the idea is to prevent players from pushing their way out
because I can phase into other walls with enough momentum
but it'll just push me back out again

Ok we found another way to do something similar that both of us can replicate

we simply shove ourselves in a small space, and when it expires you get stuck/phase through the map depending on where you are

It seems Nemesis doesn’t only impersonate dwarves, it impersonates Combat Tips too, hahaaaaaaaaaa….. I’ll be heading off now
why can't I buy some upgrades?

after yesterday's patch I thought there might be some slight improvement to hollow bough cavegen, but I was wrong. here are more instances of terrible caves
an egg hunt where the main room is just a pit of vines and branches.
an escort where the boolo caps were nowhere to be found and the exit drop pod spawned at the top of a vertical room. bonus: a crassus right in the path of doretta.
a point extract where the minehead somehow spawned 20m below ground in its own room. had to abort this one of course.
General HB feedback: please reduce the amount of bloated vines and large wooden pillars. There is nothing fun about being unable to see where you are going cos 5 overlapping vines just happened to block the exit to a room.
I'm also having much higher than normal ping after the update, and it seems like we aren't the only ones either.
Normal ping was about 45 before the update, now it's consistently over 110 with me and anyone else I play with. I hate to say it, but I think this one might actually be on the devs end. Not sure what the heck could be the cause though....

For the Wave Cooker, the more and more I test T4C (Power Supply Overdrive), the more and more I am sure it may not work, or the RoF increase is very little.
If you try to tap the gun for X seconds, very similar amounts of ammo get consumed (it's a hard test to do without mods).
Or at minimum, the RoF increase is almost insignificant.
Some data miners said it was supposed to increase RoF by x2.5 (which it definitely does not do).
is the shard diffractor deleting ammo when the burst fire is cancelled an intentional feature or a bug
also there's a bug caused by having low enough framerate where any screenshake effect doesn't correctly decay but instead gets stacked ontop of each other instance of screenshake until your camera flies outside the map. as a side effect of this bug your "hands" holding the gun also fly off into the sunset. this was been in the game before the season 2 update but since then the performance has dipped enough for it to be more common. here's a few screenshot examples of the camera clipping outside the map:

Since season 2’s update was released, I’ve experienced some form of “sound cut” doing swarms or fighting a decent amount of enemies on screen. Including a bit of lag.
Those sound cuts and lag get more frequent when I’m tabbing out of the game to check other programs.
Normally this would be indicating that my graphic settings are too high or something , however my pc runs just fine on higher settings. I tried reduce the graphics to medium and see if it helped, and it was only by a little bit.
I dunno if others has experience this. I noticed in recent patch for the game that there was a patch for fixing CPU usage for enemy animation, but I still experience the music cuts and a bit of lag when fighting large horde of bugs.
Is there a certain setting I need to change to fix it, or has this been addressed and a patch is being worked on?
Nemesis is not Bulk Detonator level enemy? cuz during EDD i just got with my friends both Nemesis and Detonator at once...

Yeah cooker audio is still bugged for other teammates

Go to steam - then go to settings > In-game - on that page in the bottom there's the Steam Networking setting. If it is set to default, it uses a steam relay in order to not send your IP directly when playing p2p games (like drg) - but this can cause higher ping, depending on where you are in relation to the relay. So setting it to "always" can help on connection issues.
Ah I see, sorry I should have been more concise with the problem. My framerate is much worse, not connection. It used to be locked at 144fps and at worst drop to maybe 70-80. Now in the lobby it will crank down to 80 depending on where i look, and in a 4 player server with a large horde it can reach around 45-50.

I tried the new DLSS option, it wasn't that efficient and the artifacting was a bit too much for me.
Can you send a screenshot of your ingame graphics settings? - should be noted in general, that if you are playing with friends - the one with the best PC should host, as a bad host can make frames drop for all clients.
Funny bug, probably not worth hunting: I got out of a game and immediately went to join another one via the map console. Instead of the usual character selection screen, it showed me the Forge instead:

I worked with someone last week who reported the HG bug, got their exact map seed, popped it into a mod that lets you replay a map of a given seed, went to the exact same egg and opened it in the exact same way...didn't glitch for me as host or client. I did get it to "pause" and do nothing for several seconds but it always resolved
so guys i play the season 2 for 6 hours in G force now i get every new weapow, now G force now its not working with deep rock and if i play in steam my game beguins without weapows, exp, nothing i need help

not sure how Geforce Now cloud gaming works, I thought you just logged in with your Steam creds and played
in which case it should've cloud sync'd to Steam, and you should be able to sync that to any PC / cloud service where you can log in to same Steam account
i keep finding this pipe building tool floating mid air next to morkite wells on liquid morkite extraction missions
for anyone experiencing the bug with matrix core terminals that don't fold out after completing an event, from what I can tell and have seen the terminals themselves are not on the actual matrix core center, as I have found the terminal detached and hidden away in a separate part of the cave.
seems to be a very common bug, but thats all i can assume from what ive seen is that the terminal exists, you just may have to find it

Anyone else experiencing a bug where after calling the drop pod on an elimination mission, the sound gets muffled/quiet? This is on the xbox console edition.
I have just bought the game today. When I tried launching it, it plays on as normal until after the initial loading screen with the screen going all dark and I couldn't see my cursor. I tried multiple things, verifying the game files, trying to play on windowed-mode (it is stuck on fullscreen), ect..
One thing I found out that if I have another app at the forefront, my cursor becomes visible.

Then it's possible that either you were lagging, or the host's pc was behind on some element processing. The latter can happen, I sometimes have solo games where I mine the nitra and the vein doesn't get mined until some time later because of my cpu's maximum processing frequency being reached

It's possible that doretta still had a lot of fuel to spend before reaching the heartstone, so it made some bullshit pathing to spending it fully. That's my theory

My DRG game consistently crashes on start up every single time since the update, and I have to verify the integrity of my game files for the game to run every single time. It's never been this bad prior to season 2

In the server menu hovering over which classes are in game empty spots seem to be drillers that dont exist

The new cave generation really doesn't feel right when you can't move through one cave area without running into extra large crystals like this and have to either find a way through or dig through most of it just to find anything.

On a separate note it seems Rich Atmosphere and heavy object carrying is bugged, After testing it on a mission after you pick up a heavy object like a Jadiz and drop it. You return to your normal speed not the Rich Atmosphere speed. If you have the Dash perk you can revert to the Rich Atmosphere speed once activated.
Hello everyone, im struggling really hard to get this game going. I've tested everything possible on the reddit, tried to reinstall the game twice, checked files integrity, downloaded DX11 again, cleared Local Files, went through the GameUserSettings.uni and changed the fullscreen mode to windowed and I keep getting a Black Screen by the start or ending of the Loading Screen
Fixed it with a simple "-disablemodding" on launch options. Thank you very much for your help!

When the patch for class paintjovs rolled around, I lost my Muddy Path skin (it was given to the gunner instead of the driller). Is there a way I can petition for it back, as it left my inv after the patch
what the hell is going on w the game? Joining someone and playing w/them is near impossible. Every 3 minutes I get ''lost connection to server'' now I rejoined for the third time, fell thru the map and idk if am even alive or dead or wth.. Anyone else? does anyone else have an issue with sharpening not working with FSR enabled after update 02.01?
There are a lot of bugs currently left in the game. From the new seaon:
- Forge progress sound playing out of sync and multiple times during forging
- New secondary weapons suddenly have no "stock" color for each framework to select, this occured during customization directly after unlocking it at the equipment terminal. Restarting the game fixes it.
PRIOR TO THE NEW SEASON AND STILL IN IT:
- Latejoining an escort duty will result in an vanishing progress/boss health bar of the heartstone for the client. Point of joining is irrelevant, doesn't matter if you join before the first stop or at the heartstone battle. At the start the bar will be where it should be (and act like it), but during phase one/ after some time it will go completely away.
- Floating Laser Pointer around pipes/pumpjacks (the whole tool) when joining on-site refining missions. These stay as 3D objects in an fixed position in the air around pipes/pumpjacks and don't vanish, no matter which dwarf uses his pointer again.
- Endless sound of sentry or Bet-C shooting, or of the drilling personal droppod of yourself when latejoining. These sounds stay with their source near the point of dropping down when joining, and are extremely loud. Going far away doesn't help much, for example that jackhammer from the droppod is still going BRRRRRRRR inside your head the whole time till you finish the mission.
- Big FPS drops during hacking from Hack-C (probably from the green data streams, since this happens especially with a lot of nodes active), Drillers sludge pump when he is shooting more of that stuff, and looking through or in the general direction (somwhat closer) of the smoke of the oil refninig platform and Dorettas exhausts. My rig is advised to set everything on ultra and still these items cut the (set to 60) framerate down to 25-30. I have no issues with other similar or more demanding games.
-Don't get me started on the mesh and anti-aliasing, i gave up on that and learned to live with it.
Nemesis are still spawning in pairs.
I've been having issues with gold rush on singleplayer, this is the second mission ive done with gold rush in solo, and none of the veins are big at all

Yeah none of the gold veins in this missions are big. I have 4 other examples as well.
First time I've fought Dreadnoughts in the new season (but maybe related to recent patches) - I'm stuck because this Hiveguard won't summon his guys. He just stands there doing nothing. Previous fight with the twins, one of them was also not responsive for a minutes but eventually snapped out of it.

Tried disabling all mods and restarting, disabling anti aliasing, driver update, clearing shader cache and pre-cache.
Late reply, but if it happens again, push it with a shield. Seems to be the only thing that fixes this new variation on hiveguard problems in S2
It’s a common problem with DX12. Try launching through Steam and selecting DX11 and see if that helps.

I'm going to just drop this off here. It's a continuation of the armor break document I posted back in season 1. More stuff has been discovered since then, but despite appearances the number of armor bugs has gone down significantly moving into Season 2.

Weird, worked fine until the last 2-4 weeks.
Wonder if it's my new CPU, a friend who also has this issue uses a Zen 3 CPU same as me.
Have had this error for a few days, I know that others have also had it so I tried some methods for resolving it to no avail. This occurs consistently with DX12 and far less so with DX11

OS: Win 10 build 10.0.19044
GPU: 6900xt driver set 22.3.1, same issue on driver set 22.4.2 as well
CPU: 5900X
attempted resolutions
- uninstall and reinstall
- delete any saves
- add tdrdelay in regedit and tdrddidelay
- reinstall DX12
- remove any overlay programs
- reinstall C++ libs
- no mods are installed as I only have 2 hour playtime

so this game that i played last night before i slept went pretty buggily. As seen here the engineer (named disgust) who was host was "removed" from the game (they said that they were in some sort of void and from then on had no participation in the game other than host stuff and chatting. everything seemed fine until we called the drop pod and the timer didnt start. molly didnt go into escape mod, and the drop pod didn't properly "land". The drop pod was embedded into the terrain at the top of the map, unreachable without digging. I, as a scout with special powder, special powdered up there and dug a tunnel to the pod. then died. The other scout spent the rest of the long game trying to get up there with no special powder and it ultimately ended in defeat. the entire time, molly could be called and deposited into and the timer never started.

Been having a crash where the game will freeze for 30 seconds before closing with no crash report. Its happened 3 times now since yesterday and theyve happened near the end of missions (two times during the getaway period, so it's been very frustrating.) Any known fix for this?

Does anyone else's game randomly glitch out when trying to open the forge menu, and instead of opening the forge menu it just removes your GUI and freezes you in place?
This is caused by using the wrong version of Direct X if you don't have the appropriate graphics card for it. Try switching it and see if that helps.

When trying to launch the game via Steam, I get though the Coffee Stain and Ghost ship games logos, then the screen turns black and becomes unresponsive, tried validating the Steam files and tried launching with DirectX 11 and 12 but It had made the problem happen faster, any ideas?

Has anyone else noticed that the crystal generation in the crystal caverns seems to be off? I've had multiple missions now where the crystals were so incredibly dense that I could hardly move, and in one, I couldn't even approach the drop pod and lost because of them.

my mods are all fucked up
when i enable the mod "buyable missions", it makes me go into sandbox, yet the mod is not registered as a sandbox mod, and i have no other sandbox mods enabled
Just had a bug where a Dreadnaught Hiveguard was completely non-combative once it came out of the egg. It just sat there going through an idle animation loop. My teammate and I even dug out under it and it reoriented itself without becoming hostile.
So I started playing DRG on a new machine. To be exact, I'm on a M1 MacOS Monterey playing DRG via a VM (Parallels Desktop) running on Windows 11. When I started playing, my account got wiped to fresh (level 1, etc...) Ok, no problem. Game still runs fine, I play on a few missions with the fresh account. Keep in mind that I have restarted the game multiple times with no problem at all, no crashing even with mods enabled.
So now a few days later, I wanted my old save back so I go and "Restore Save" to my main account that was saved to the cloud ("Backup 0"). As soon as I restored save, game crashes. Now everytime I try to run the game, game instantly crashes with the following log:
The system failed to capture the callstack for this crash.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have also tried verifying the game's files.
is this supposed to happen?

It was another classes color that was mistakenly made available. It was removed intentionally in the hotfix

Where destroying their Goo Sacks doesn't really matter because they just die almost like normal anyways. Well, I say "like normal," their bodies and noises persist and you can still ping them like a dead Dreadnought.
It's consistent, too. They technically do perform the Post-Mortem bombardment, but they just ragdoll straight down and don't despawn properly.
the post-mortem bombardment only happen if they die with one goo sack left
so that death animation you've witnessed is not a bug. At worst, I'd say the corpse is staying a bit too long.
Destroying the Goo Sack as the last attack also triggers the Post-Mortem (Something you can see often if you love the Focus Shot on the M1k), as you can hear from the Goo Bomber death screaming. They die silently if you destroy their sacks and then kill them, not all at the same time.
Either way, then this is a bug that happens like 100% of the time whenever I see a Goo Bomber.
They always bombard, but never post-mortem. I can get more clips if you'd like, run some Mactera Plagues, get the footage I need...

Was starting a Solo Refinery mission with Rival Presence and an absolutely brutal spawn, killed a Nemesis at point blank range but then went down after (I don't know how or why it was like 0.5 secs after killing it). My downed body got launched into the void making it impossible for bosco to revive me, forcing me to abort the mission with a mission time of 2:45.
Best bet is either a nemesis attack or hitbox was still active after it died and flung me at supersonic speeds through a wall.
Got so far into the void the camera must of glitched because after a few seconds I couldn't see the downed model of my dwarf
I heard talk of glitches if you walk into nemesis's dead body, might be what happened

You were getting scout's painjob on the driller. That wasn't intended, it got reverted back so you could earn the paintjob properly.

You got to keep the ones that were for the right classes. It wasn't your fault - there were a bug that gave wrong class paintjobs to wrong classes. We hotfixed it yesterday.

Agreed, which is also why we hotfixed it in instead of waiting till next patch to fix it. So people wouldn't waste too much time getting loot that would go poof instead of loot they could keep.

Earlier today i was playing an egg mission and i killed a nemesis. A few seconds later (before bombs appeared) i was flung out of the map and into the void with my dwarf screaming in terror lol. Later i couldnt do anything and i just was stuck looking at the drop pod marker that was on molly at the time

If rounds up differently for weapons because they have a magazine, and the magazine kinda is another ammo pool on it's own
(that's why magazine size effectively give you more ammo rather than just more mag size)

I only picked up the game on Sunday, but is Bosco dropping Aquarqs out of the map if you're too far away from him when he digs them out a known bug? I had to abort a Point Extraction last night after that happened.
bosco used to have a bugs where he would make eggs disappear. Looks like it's the same bug happening but with aquarqs too now. Feel free to submit a bug report for it.

I've found only 9 of the desired 10, and the map really is just one big room. No hidden tunnels or the like.
Yep, ran around the entire map for at least half an hour checking the scanner for it. I also had a large mostly-one-room map too so if it had been dropped in the room I would have been able to see it without the scanner

Hmm - just checked the lvl it has 10 Arquaqs - And everytime I made the arquarqs go outside the map either by bosco or with just flying out and dropping it, it popped back up. Sometimes it was a bit hard to see/had to move the map around to find it.

If you press the terrain scanner while on a mobula cave angel you enter FPS mode, which allows you to do extreme turning speeds with the mouse, completely negating the normal controls.
How do I overwrite the main save?
Go to ESC menu > Options > Save menu - click "Restore Save" choose a save from the list to overwrite the one you are currently on.

The player save you are using - the one at player rank 25, why are you using it? - I think the pop op might be checking your main save, where there is less progress.
If you are playing with progress in mind, you should really be playing on the main save - as it is better protected by the game than the other ones.
So I should lose all my progress?

ran into a bug last night in edd where breaking the secondary mission hive guard cocoon caused up to six hiveguard health bars to show up for dwarves who were not the host (i was host and the number of hp bars varied from person to person). there was still only one dread though and was unbugged besides the first stage aoe rock bombs being invisible. each dwarf had a different number of hp bars on their screen but me (the host) had one like normal. anyone else encounter this?
Is the scale brigade armor bugged for me? I can't seem to keep it equipped, it defaults back to the mk1 suit.

Anybody had performance issues since this patch. I run 1440 at 120 frames and my frame rate climbs up and down. Didnt have this problem prepatch. I run an rtx 3070.
I figured it was particle effects so i brought it to high settings and nothing changed. Mostly the chugging happens in heavy combat.

When you play with others, do you know them/their setup or do you play with randoms? Could be that you are playing with bad hosts - drg is p2p - if the host is playing on a toaster, then that toaster is the server. Will make the game run weird for everyone involved.

I'm not exactly sure, but when I started hosting a couple matches today public/no mods it seems like the enemy spawns are just ridiculous to the point of failing haz2 with randoms on missions with no modifiers, this amount of bugs is definitely overboard for haz2 right?
I found a cosmetic bug, it does not really affect the game, but if you are a fan of pressing rock and stone, then it hurts your eyes

one of our guys died today fairly near us but then glitched and kept "falling" to somewhere or other. In the end he ended up 10km away. He was the host and a good guy and waited for us to complete the mission. Sort it out NAOIWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Push it with a gunner shield. Repeatedly meleeing in the face has also been suggested by GSG QA.
I checked before and after to make sure for no mods and definitely not, think it would also say (modded) on my name in that footage too. It also happened when I played solo too

(EDIT - didn’t realize you were hosting) Definitely feels like it was modded, intentionally or not. I had a friend in Discord have a similar problem once where he had some mod that increased enemy spawn that got stuck “enabled” despite no mods showing active.
That could be a problem though because if I could have mods like that enabled and randoms join me expecting unmodded idk what could happen etc.

Ages ago I tried the Bug Planet mod however I haven't used that for ages but maybe that? only thing I could think of that touches spawn rates
Unfortunately games can also be modded outside the official mod channels so it’s tough to pin down.
One way to be absolutely sure is to uninstall the game, delete the install folder (which will remove any remaining cruft), then reinstall (and launch with -disablemodding for good measure). Kind of a nuclear option but would be definitive. Game is pretty small (as modern games go) so it’s an easy fix
Isn't happening any more after restarting the game, but I might try test something with the mods to see if I can make it happen again
So I restarted the game (all mods off), enabled the mod I assumed could be causing it (specifically bug planet), and did a solo game and it was normal like it was unmodded. exiting the game and opening it then playing a match had the upped spawn rates/different enemies/stats etc. disabling the mod and then starting another match still seemed to have the same spawn rate change for grunts/mactera etc.
So not really a bug with the actual game which is a good.

With Xbox controller on PC, pressing X does a lot of different things, including picking up secondary objectives (e.g. boolo cap). X is also the button to swap ammo types with the Boltshark.
When pressing X in the context of any of these other actions, the ammo type will also switch on the Boltshark.
(To reproduce: Use controller, equip boltshark, walk up to a secondary that you press X to pick up, and notice how you pick up the item and your ammo type also switches)
Probably going to be a problem on console as well when we get there.
In the latest update I’ve experienced a variety of issues regarding weapon sounds. For example, the Stubby SMG’s firing sound is shifted to the left along with the reload sound. This also occurs with modded sound replacements. The issues don’t happen when I use normal stereo sound so my theory is that the weapon sound cue system might not be compatible with 7.1/5.1 surround. Is there anything I can do to fix this besides using stereo? I bought my headset with the intention of it having 7.1 support and I don’t want to give that up.

I have had some trouble with the online portion every once in a while. I would try to join a server only to have it fail with the message "unknown" half way cut off on the most right side of the pop up box. As soon as this occurs then every attempt after to join another player will fail in the same way.
This happened before the newest update too but I had a particularly bad one recently where I couldn't play online even after I restarted my computer.

The sound when forging is really jacked up now
Well, there was such a situation that after killing the first Glyphid, the second one simply disappeared (Well, we almost found him later) Because of this, we could not finish the match and had to disconnect, and I also have a video that shows that the boss has despawned (But apparently appeared behind the map). Maybe something is not clear because I used a translator.

gun sling animation with the hurricane builders choice frame work is kinda iffy, as there is a pipe in the way on the skin, so it sorta just clips in
When using the Shock Trooper helmet, the Dwarfs nape has texture/clipping issues where the dwarfs skin comes through the Neck Guard part that is underneath the Shock Trooper Helmet. You can clearly see the texture/clipping issues when you view the Character from the Equipment Terminal. EDIT: This issue also affects the Strike Team Alpha and the Balaclava.

Just had a game with a 10 Aquarq PE. Couldn't find the last Aquarq (10th one) after 30+ minutes of searching.
Checked every nook and cranny, there is no tunnel or hole leading to any other side cave.
Even checked under the minehead itself.
Looking back, the minehead did destroy a large pillar in the middle of the room. If that has any relevancy.
There have been more questions like this than usual of hard to find / missing aquarqs in PE. If you can capture a screenshot of the Esc screen while in a troublesome level and paste it here that will help.

I've been noticing the wave cooker sound effect continuously playing from drillers when they switch off the weapon when im hosting
I don't think this is a bug, paintjobs aren't saved to frameworks. When you have the rival framework/megacorp paintjob and switch to megacorp framework, the megacorp framework is the "default" as it doesnt exist as a separate paintjob for that framework. Then when you switch back to rival tech framework it's still selected as "default" which is the rival tech paintjob

A Hiveguard stop moving after pop, we try bomb, fire, dig everything under, place platform but even when he moved a little bit nothing. Fun but frustrating

Just installed Season 2 update on PS4 and there is a bug where my soldier has the "Industrial Facemask" equipped but it isnt showing, i think there are some items missing from the "owned" section
The scout flare disappears when hitting the drop pod. PC.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the primary fire button? Often it doesn't respond at all, or my primary attack will cut out by itself. This led to me buying a new mouse since I thought my old one was dying, but I'm still having the same issue. No issues with other games. This started on the day of the update.

Tried to use the atlassian bug reporter for the first time in a year, when logging in again it says "Looks like your administrator has marked your account as inactive. Contact your administrator to solve this issue."

Anyone else getting this error launching the game on steam? My internet connection is fine, I'm connected to the steam friends network and everything. It says it's "ready to launch" but refuses to launch without installing some 6 mb update that it refuses to download.

Hey lads, I'm currently launching to a black screen. Won't even show the title splash. I have to force quit to get out. Is this a bug? Escort mission, Fungus Bogs, some of those yellow mushrooms that emit toxic gas when you're near them spawned under the Heartstone arena, did a bit of digging to see if I could find them but realized I'd probably be there for awhile hunting for them and just jumped over them (low gravity mission), but like...that doesn't feel like it should have happened.
Thankfully it was Haz2 so it's not like it was a major danger, but that would have been real irritating if I was playing on a higher difficulty >_>
has anyone encountered an issue with the new event (the wire hack bomb diffuse event) that the node you need to hack isn't shown by the wires? Like there's supposed to be a wire that lights up and blinks and youd follow it to the node to hack, but when we were on the last one, none of the wires were lit so we ran around in circles for a bit before i randomly found a hackable node
no actually, i rewatched my own footage, and what actually happened was that the last 2 active nodes lit up at the same time. Someone else successfully hacked the 4th node, i was on the last one but the timer ran out and the node electrocuted me, so i was supposed to restart the wire hack. But i didnt realise i should try again on the same node, so i walked away, which resulted in us getting confused with which node should be hacked. So is this intentional or should i put this in suggestions (for the active node to stay lit even after a hack on it has been initiated)?
cuz ive had 1 other previous wire hack event, that i had to find another active node to hack if the timer on the current node ran out

Because they are not fully covering each other, you could've dug the resupply down to reveal the cable.

feels like there's a prioritization issue when someone goes down near a hackable station - i've tried to revive teammates under duress multiple times and each time it flips back and forth between hack and revive without me releasing the button

I'm having a few bugs I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I have no mods active. On multiplayer when I'm not hosting engineer cant place his turrets and driller only receives 1 c4 from the resupply when I have both ammo mods on. Also scouts overclocks on his crossbow aren't decreasing damage on the stat page for cryo bolt and trifork volley.
is there a way to get hiveguard moving again when its bugged?
Have you meleed it in the mouth or thrown a shield at it?
The update resets all the settings on Playstation which is suuuuper painful

Not a bug, more like the host is hacking where no damage is taken from any enemy. You can only die from fall damage and getting a revive immediately puts them up to 100% hp

Not hacking, it's modding in the host's machine. Also, there's no report system
beards still static for me. checked options, verified the game files, still nothing. i've seen other people mention it while other people complain of "jittery" beards. been like this since Season 2 went live
while using the speed boost perk on the grapple on scout, when the buff is active, using the dash perk will just consume dash, but not correctly gaining the speed boost

I managed to overcome the Hiveguard not responding bug without use of the gunner shield. I popped the cocoon and ran to another room. After killing the initial wave of sentinels it stopped moving, but while it was standing still I heard the sounds of digging, turns out another lone sentinel was coming over from far away. After killing that one, the fight progressed as per normal.
That can happen but in my case he had not even begun spawning sentinels he just popped out of the egg.
Did you try running to another room to make the hiveguard chase you? I think the AI resets when it has to chase or dig towards you. I have to wonder if the people facing the bug were all fighting/waiting in the HG in the room with the cocoon itself.
I found a bug on ps4 there is a buged material it says "err://23□y%/" it might just be a shiny matrix for but I do not know

I got that bug twice the first time we left the mission, and the second time it was on the last part of the EDD so we found the method of using the shield.
Hoping someone has run into this problem before and is able to tell me the solution is simple: When I hold E, it doesn't hold anymore. It rapid fires. I have tried restarting my game and it persists. Any ideas?

this issue currently happens because of recent interaction changes to make the system easier to patch
in exchange the current system is quite finicky and annoying. I take it over the coming week or so it will be worked on, but I cant be sure myself. They've acknowledged the switch has had some unintended side effects
my primary "solution" as of now is to try readjusting my position a little bit before trying the interaction again
it seems to recalibrate in a sense
not any less annoying, of course, but it works well enough in lower-pressure situations

Hey guys does anyone else get a flashing screen when doing a Tritilyte Crystal machine event? The issue only occurs when looking at the model of the crystal and disappears when you complete the event. I can try and get a recording of the issue next time I come across it.

I got the supporter pack a little bit ago but now that the game updated the little badge and drink at the bar are gone how do I fix it?
For future reference you can dig down any object that size- black boxes, hacking pods, cargo crates, probably others I'm forgetting.
You can't dig down mineheads, refineries or drop pods though they'll just float in midair
The biggest use for this obviously is moving a point defense from a perilous ledge to a more defensible spot but also if the cargo crate is really high up it's occasionally easier to bring it down than to carry the batteries to it
i cant get a proper video because my laptop cant record and play at the same time but i hope this bolt floating in mid air is proof enough of the bug so it can be investigated more
for some reason sometimes when i hit an enemy with the crossbow the hit somehow counts as terrain and the enemy takes no damage

I've had that problem in the past even back in S1, but it was always transient, like some nights just couldn't join any games, waited a while and it resolved itself. sounds like this is more persistent

I cannot join or invite players from steam friendlist to lobby. I tried restarting the game, relogging the steam, restarting router and PC, fixing some DLL's thay may be working wrong, checked steam file integrity, and checked if I don't maybe have some drivers that don't go with game and it doesn't change anything. Friends can play together but I can not

I figured out my issue with the primary fire (left click mouse) issue--if you have sprint on hold instead of toggle, and you're holding sprint when you try to fire, the sprint overrides the primary fire button. I swapped it back to toggle sprint and have had no issues since. Guess we can't run and shoot at the same time.

its not a bug per se, but in deep dives, during loading screens the meter indicator decreases instead of increasing. not sure if necessary but its as if the drop-pod is going up instead of down?

The join issue was resolved for me by re-selecting DRG in steam, that triggered the update to appear

yeah, 70773 is patch1+HF1. if you're still on 70773 you need today's update, should take you to 70906 (patch2)
I think DRG does not support version mismatches but also doesn't give you a version mismatch error, just a "failed" error
so on patch days you get a lot of mismatch / join errors

Hi, can someone help me? I’m having major problems on PS4. A lot of my trophies aren’t popping (Expert Miner, Without A Paddle, Mutated Scavenger etc.) and I’m worried the game is broken in tracking my progress. My graphical settings also fail to save and revert back to the default settings after each session.
I have tried deleting my saves, Re downloading from the PS4 cloud, restoring my in game saves etc. and nothing has seemingly changed

Hi don’t know if it happing to other people but about half way through a mission on ps4 (usually when carrying something big) game just stopes working and freezes
So, funny story... just watching a friend running a coop mission. They filled out the primary and secondary objectives, the button on Molly was visible for a while and then... disappeared.
They can't push the button, they went digging for the Return Pod and found it hanging way above the cavern it drops into... and it's just hovering.
They dug underneath it to try to unstick it, it's hovering. They called a Resupply to go through the Pod and try to trigger the collision, nothing - other than the resupply boring a... resupply-sized vertical shaft.
I purchased deep rock galactic and I played 4 hours then I closed game. Then I wanna play yesterday and game stuck in black screen and it not open. I don't know what I must to do. Can you help me?
Does the shard diffractor currently have all the previous frameworks? Only the default and megacorp ones show up for me.

On PS4, when wearing headphones, firing your gun seems to make everything else sound muffled, like it’s under a pillow
This does not happen when not using headphones
looks like the same bug that affected disintegrating terrain in escort in the experimental but with the supply pod instead 🤔

So, I just had the most batshit crazy bug happen
I was doing a solo mission mini mule
After I connected the fuel line, I realized there was a Nemesis near the drop pod
After I ignited it with my flamethrower... It kind of didn't die. And then things went crazy when it grabbed me
I apparently clipped into the drop pod as it grabbed me or something, and I got carried upwards out of the map
Then I got the mission failed screen, but my dwarf acted like it was a success
I'm unsure if I died / ran out of lives in the process of being grabbed but there was deffo some fuckery with the drop-pod flying upwards before the mission was done, with my body inside of it

Did it advance a task set if you had one active?
I was in the 'repair the fuel pod' part of the mission when I got grabbed by the nemesis very close to the drop pod
so reproduction I guess is 'let a nemesis grab you near the drop-pod / clip you into it'
My guess is I got clipped into the drop pod before it was open and that triggered a 'mission complete' trigger
So I got the mission success animation, but the mission failed cause I didn't complete the objective
So yeah if peeps wanna test it - you'll know you've done it when you are apparently 'under' the drop pod as it moves upwards (you see the drill)

Sticky flames on a turret don't cause it to die from igniting if you're not looking at it / leave it alone for a moment
resulting in a turret that is fully ignited but won't die
same with nemesis I think

Yes, getting inside the drop pod almost always triggers a mission completion, the only thing really standing in the way is the door in most missions
I use it all the time to finish missions early :)
