best guess is the rad crystals rad dot is staying stuck to doretta. Temporary fix is to mine them away before they damage dorry.

Did they fix the bug where sometimes solid objects like the deposit in aquarq missions or the drill dozer would become immaterial, not allowing you to stand on them or use them, I.e. repair or deposit, it’s lost me more than a few missions getting that glitch

This week's EDD. Doretta got hit by a supply drop then freaked out and slowly drove back to the entry point and stopped. The Doretta status UI stopped indicating damage to everyone but the host at this point too.

Bug: In the middle of a random cave, Dorreta did a 180 and drilled a 600+ meter straight line to first drop pod landing, where she then did a 180 facing toward the hearthsone.

If you mean the first tunnel I drilled: About 5 minutes in.
If you mean the first tunnel connecting the actual hearthstone: Probably around 40.

On stage 2 of the EDD, there are 2 common bugs that I have seen.

molly gets stuck when many exploding plant craters are super close to each other. One of the large rooms dotty drills into has a huge amount of exploding plants. super easy to get molly stuck.

when traveling a large distance away from the drilldozer, all ui for her stops working. This easily happens in stage 2 of the EDD when you notice molly (not dotty) is broken, you go to fix the pathing, then u see that the info on dotty is frozen in place. It never updates after that.

I can't use outgoing voice chat at all. Game is set up to use proper mic, so that isn't the problem. I've tried doing a few things I found on google but can't figure it out

I am in a mission right now that I am going to have to abort because in point extraction, the mine head and all the enemies are no longer able to be interacted with, I was on 6/7 aquarqs and as I am about to grab the last the game lags and I can no longer interact, I cannot pick up the aquarq though bosco is able to pick it up just fine, I can no longer damage enemies directly, the only thing I can hurt them with is the aoe from power attacking with pick, while they can still hurt me, and I cannot deposit because I fall through the minehead which is no longer physically in the game with me, grapple still sees it and works but I cannot stand on it to deposit, if indeed that is possible given the opportunity to stand at all, I can stream or screenshot but I don't know how to take video, mission is currently tabbed out and paused

I'd suggest messing with your default recording devices on windows. My intended mic only worked when I disabled and removed everything else.

I figured out a stopgap fix to my own glitch, if I stay inside one of the objects that doesn’t exist for me long enough, in this case about 40 seconds in the mine head drill trip, it will eject me from it and once again treat me like I’m an object, allowing me to deposit the aquarq and end the mission, despite that, once I got on the escape pod and made it back, no progress was made on my assignment for some reason

It was always mid mission, and never too long into it, it happened in the quartz biome and ive been trying to complete the same mission, i do have a dual monitor setup, and my specs are a 1660ti ryzen 5 2600 32gb ram win10,

Yes, it's likely because it came into contact with the radiation effect of a rad crystal. In the future, until it's fixed, try to destroy them before they damage doretta.

Alright just so anyone who does a search can find this: there seems to be a bug with the gunner shield right now. If you move at all, it will cancel the shield regen buff. meaning if you enter a shield that's already placed you won't get the buff since you're moving. The only way to get and keep the buff is to be already inside the shield when placed, then stand completely still
Edit: Ok Just kidding. just played a multiplayer game where the shield worked as expected. maybe it's a hosting issue?

Tonight myself and 2 friends went to do an escort mission. It was in Sandblasted Corridors. The caves were very large but the Drilldozer coming through the wall towards the heartstone did not drill down. Instead it stayed straight in the air - flying - did a 180 about face and drove all the way back to the drop pod.

I got a new nano 85 TV and "the instant game response is launched" happens when i open up menus in the ship triggering a black screen for a few seconds every time i swap characters. I can fix the problem by turning off the HDR colors menu i guess but I assume the TV is detecting the menus as not game mode

I reinstalled the game and verified the files integrity, when I load up the game and enter the bay, my computer nolonger makes sound. This toggles when I load into a new area (joining a mission). I'm not sure what details are needed to help fix it.

@mossy breach There's two speaking symbols, the orange you normally and only see during the mission, and a purple-blue circle symbol when you have the esc menu open, where the player's names are.
Not sure if they added a option on Xbox side to toggle it. Wouldnt hurt to check in the UI or Audio settings.

I already checked everything, cant find any Strange new Things in the Options. When im in start menu and i speak, i See the blue/purple Symbol (circle). But when im in Game Theres Always was this little yellow/White speaker Symbol next to the other Players picture, it Just appeared when Someone was speaking, so you could See who is talking right now. @hidden ocean Theyre working on a build to fix those problems and get it certified through Microsoft, hopefully soon enough.
What you could try for now is check graphics card is up to date, run it as admin, also check Windows 10 is up to date, or finally troubleshoot it through Windows 10.

I know my drivers are up to date. I usually update them or check for updates weekly. Running as admin doesn't seem to work. W10 updated the day after DRG. So how do I troubleshoot it through W10?

I think troubleshoot should be located in settings/ update & security tab. (Read a forum, that you could download the troubleshooter, but I think its the same thing). After that, best to restart your "device", im guessing your pc, and check again for any updates available.

Not sure if these bugs have already been reported, but there a couple during the refining mission that I experience every time I play (nothing game breaking, but bugs nonetheless)
- Numbers on refiner pipes flash because the animation covers the number when the pipes are actively pumping morkite.
- When dumping resources into the refiner, the sound effect cuts out after starting the dump animation
I DID experience an annoying bug during the escort mission as well. Something caused the dozer to take constant damage (1hp every 5 seconds) even though nothing was attacking. It was during a low oxygen mission

Heyo, trying to setup voice chat for DRG but I can't even press the button apparently(?) I set it up just right, it's enabled, I reassigned the key to 3 different ones, and it's also the only input device on my computer( searching this server only yielded me with that as a "first solution"). Any ideas?

@gloomy spoke I was having the same problem so I turned off push to talk. That worked right away. Then I got annoyed with my dogs barking and decided to turn it back on a few games later. It's worked ever since for me. I'm a total newbie so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Hey yall,
I'm having an issue with not being able to hear music in game.
This is happening with both myself and my friend. We can hear all audio except for music. We can hear the jukebox music, but not any music from beer buffs or any music in game.
This happened a couple months ago, I believe.
It's kind of a bummer since I really like the music and it makes swarms more fun.
I have tried:
-Verifying steam files
-Uninstalling/Re-installing
-Updating audio drivers
I'm running out of options.
Running PC, Windows 10, through Steam.
Operating System Version: Windows 10 (64 bit)

@frosty iris @lunar edge Verify that you're using dx11 by going into the ingame options > graphics > and verifying that "use dx12 (experimental" is unchecked. Close the game. Right click it on steam > properties > set launch options > place -dx11 there and hit ok.

Activating the dash perk has no effect if the speed bonus granted from the "Momentum" modification from the scout's grappling hook is active.
Speed bonus from dash perk is faster, so it should take priority over the slower speed bonus of the "Momentum" mod, but upon activation, the dash perk is wasted and put on cooldown.

Yesterday It was me with a random person playing gunner. Molly didn't follow like 80m behind where we were. I went back and apparently Molly wasn't able to path forward past a hole that was created from a random Dreadnought hole that was created. It wasn't a Dreadnought hunting mission - it was a random event that created a hole (from the ball it fired) and for some reason Molly found difficulty pathing around it at all. It was fixed when I set a satchel charge in the small hole and blew it up. I believe the mission was a Morkite mission, but this was over a day ago.

Ok so I thought it was only for me but it just happened to a dev during the stream : sometimes there is a "ghost collision" against swarmers and terrain in general. Sometimes a swing from the pickaxe will have no effect an dmake the same noise when you hit bosco/mollya turret etc. This bug also prevents impact axe from landing

@scenic jacinth I'd recommend not doing that. However, there was an update today regarding dorettas pathfinding. I've yet to test and see if it resolved the pathing issues that can result from digging ahead.

Okay so the Drilldozer decided to stop really far from the Ommoran to start the extraction, it's really wierd

Okay so we hit the button, and she starts drilling where she was, and when we hit the second phase, she suddenly moves at full speed to the Ommoran with noclip (without drilling)

The continuous damage is likely the result of doretta coming into contact with the radiation field of a rad crystal. The dot gets stuck on doretta. I'd recommend destroying them along her path before she comes into contact with them.

Our Doretta seems to have lost an entire 100% side plate upon coming into contact with an umanite crystal, there were no very heavy enemies around to cause a 100 to 0 blow, as well as the same issue of constant 1% damage taken by an unknown source after the incident with the plate loss

It happens when you obstruct it's path with something (a supply pod). They actually have two safe nets here: it recalculates its path after a short moment of panic (like on the picture), and then it teleports to the droppod, as @graceful yarrow has mentioned

Reproduction rate: approx 1 in 10.
Steps to reproduce:
- Die in some manner, doesn't appear to be any particular method that is the key trigger.
Expected Results:
You die and simply lie on the ground.
Actual results:
On occasion your corpse will glitch through the bottom of the terrain and fall for awhile into the blackness (approx few hundred metres). The you will glitch back up to the cave but will be re-positioned in a localised low point.

Had a bug yesterday on edd, when we were protecting the drilldozer and bulk detonator appeared. Bulk then died in about 1 sec (I wasn't looking at him so no idea how), destroyed one of the drilldozer parts, and we all started to receive spamming mission info lines like ("drilldozer is loaded and ready to go", etc.) which were repeated constantly.

Had a bug where we were drilling for liquid mortkite, got stuck on of the pump jacks and couldnt move at all. Like running on the spot, my mate said he saw moving but teleporting back to same position. Couldn't escape and enemies would come to me but not attack. He ended up killing me to see if that would work and all i did was fall like 2000+ meters down.

What you're experiencing isn't a player cheating or anything malicious. XP was distributed differently when the game initially released and changed sometime after which results in the large jump you experienced. Now I think that's the largest jump I've seen so you could revert your save to eliminate any possibility of a malicious actor. However, if one wasn't present then your rank will skyrocket again.
Saves are local and devs don't usually get involved in editing them.

Yeah, that is normal for old players to experience. There is essentially overleveled experience that was racked up when you reached level 20, The more you played the more saved XP, so as soon as the promotions came out, people sky-rocketed in blue level and prestige. It's a one time event per class if you played before "retirement".

@real coral Two things, the first is he should be the one in here explaining his issue since it's tedious to talk through someone else. Second what are his system specs? That's a graphics driver issue so a reinstall may be in order. I'd also double check and make sure that drg is set to use dedicated graphics rather than integrated, that'll be done through your graphics driver control panel.

So I was permanently stuck on the MK2 armour for gunner
Turns out on skin colour it read 'mk 2 gunner suit'
Once I changed that to a normal colour the bug was fixed

Someone told me today the EM Turret Discharge kills do not count as your own. I have not verified this but if so sad. What I have verified is that EM Turret Discharge still damages your LUREs. I believe that that both of these issues have the same origin which is that it is not counting as your damage but some sort of environmental damage. I love me some EM Turret Discharge but this goes beyond quality of life and needs fixing.

i just found a very interesting bug that for some reason just does not allow any collision for the drop pod to work and i just kept falling through the pod and was not able to complete my mission, this happened on a salvage operation while i was play as the driller in a solo game

I had a bug in an escort duty mission after the first fuel stop me and my friend put both canisters back in and mission control just kept saying the voice line for the canisters being fueled over and over even after we started up the drilldozer again

so... a friend of mine died on a zipline and while the game said he was dead, he was visably still alive, he was just stuck in place on the zipline, he could shoot his autocannon with no issues, he just couldn't move or do anything else other then shoot, i have no idea how the glitch is reproduced.

I'm assuming that the voiceline cooldown prevents him from using one of the call bosco voicelines.
this appears to only affect the calling bosco to your side function, and not the ctrl+click commands for him.

I can't tell if this is a problem with my mouse, or an issue with the game. While out in missions, mouse1 & 2 sometimes don't respond at all. That'll last anywhere from 1 click to ~10 clicks. I have to scroll to other items and back again for things to finally respond.
I haven't noticed this issue with games prior to picking up DRG again.

Had a bug during Escort duty where a Beamer laser remained permanently after the actual crystal had been destroyed with no way to stop it, and it only stopped when the Omorran event was concluded. I grappled to it as Scout and power attacked the tip of the crystal, but the beam continued firing despite the tip being gone and the rest of the crystal stayed lit up. I destroyed the rest of the crystal by carving out the base with my pick, but the beam still continued to attack the drilldozer. Attempting to shoot the origin of the beam with the Deepcore had no effect. I was host of a public game, but no other players had joined at the time.

During an escort mission, one fuel canister disappeared at the refuel phase.
Checked with the laser tool and it said it was all the way back at spawn. Run over and that ghost canister was floating directly in the spawn dropship tunnel. No real canister, just a ghost that could be seen and pinged with the laser spotter.
No choice but to restart the mission

Has anybody else had issues joining a friend's game on the Windows 10 version? My friend and I recently started playing via Game Pass, and when we try to use the in-game invite system, it never works. The notification to accept the invite comes through the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows, but if we choose to accept it launches the game again in a new window, and never successfully joins.
We've had to resort to creating a password protected server and manually joining via server browser

Odd issue. Playing thru the Xbox App for Windows, anytime i move my mouse in game, it fully freezes the game, dropping FPS to 0 for the duration of my mouse movement. When my mouse stops, everything goes back to normal. Downloaded a different game in the Xbox App, no issue. Also used a controller in DRG, no issue but anytime i move the mouse in game, full freeze.

@ripe ember There's a few solutions that may/may not help, if you check pinned messages here under my name.
Other things to try is, swap to a different keybind for "push to talk", or try if open mic works better, make sure steam voice settings is correct, or pressing windows key + g for Windows 10 version.
I've also been trying to get my mic working too, ironically 😅 DRG has issues with this for a while.

I was just playing on Xbox, and attempting to load into a mission, and it would not load the last bit of the bar, and while in the loading UI, i could change what class i was and pressing any button would add another copy of the team to the bar, to the point they extended offscreen and the UI became a stretched mess before my game crashed. On a short length, low complexity Mini Mule rescue and drop pod thing both mini mules were in the first cave and the remaining larger cave with the drop pod in it was separated by a dirt wall. Upon activating Molly to get her to go to the drop pod she and the mini Mules both just... walked through the wall since there was no path.

"Deep for Speed Achievement is bugged on Steam" Only 1 of my team members got it,. 1 person already had it, 2 did not receive it, but the last player did unlock it.
My theory on the bug is that the player who unlocked the achievement accepted the steam invite to play, while the 2 of us who did not get the achievement right clicked and joined our friend on steam

Hey everyone, I have a trouble with my DRG... I got it on the Microsoft store by the game pass so i download it and at the moment I try to launch nothing happened. I try to upate my windows, fix my drivers, fix my direct X, fix microsoft visual c++ redistributable, I try to launch DRG by the Xbox application and nothing happened too, so i try to launch DRG with steam and it work perfectly. I didn't have any error code and at the moment I launch it DRG appear a few second when I spam the play button (like 5 or 6 times) and diseappear instantly in the task manager without any blackscreen (I stay all the time on my desktop nothing is launching). I also close all the software of my mouse, keyboard and headset (like Razer synaspse, Logitech G-Hub....). So does anyone knows why DRG don't wanna launch in MicrosoftStore but it's ok with Steam ?

hey i don't know if its relocatable but one of my teammates was spamming e on the drill dozer to get the oil canister and he was able to put it back into the dill dose without getting oil shale.

@mossy breach If you or your friend run into thay bug again, clipping through the floor, esc menu and hover near your character icon, a respawn button will appear. Just a tip for future reference.
The barrel physics causes that and devs tend to keep it that way.

Medium Length Medium Complexity Refinery Mission
Found 2/3 geysers just fine but the third was nowhere to be found after maybe 20 minutes of searching including drilling exploratory tunnels and blowing walls open with C4. I can only conclude there was a glitch in the geyser spawning/map generation. We eventually just aborted mission.

Occasionally you can do a boosted jump by moving forward under a ledge, holding the space bar, while on top of a moving entity (dwarf, mule, bugs ect) and then making a quick step backwards while pressing jump. My friend and i are testing this bug when we play but it can be pretty useful for getting up really high or escaping a detonator

i have had a pretty major bug, this is the fifth time it's happened to me. On refinery, one of the morkite wells just doesn't spawn. I don't know if it is destroyed or something, but it simply does not appear. This has only happened on short missions

So I was chilling doing a liquid morkite extraction mission and then I realized that I was not taking any damage, minigun was one shoting literally everything including praetorians, and I had infinite shield gens. Just going to repost this since the Devs are now online, especially as I feel these are significant issues: Major bug I've been experiencing in play lately and with several different people. Has been quite prolific over this last update, was honestly expecting a fix.
Reproduction rate: approx 1 in 10.
Steps to reproduce:
- Die in some manner, doesn't appear to be any particular method that is the key trigger.
Expected Results:
You die and simply lie on the ground.
Actual results:
On occasion your corpse will glitch through the bottom of the terrain and fall for awhile into the blackness (approx few hundred metres). The you will glitch back up to the cave but will be re-positioned in a localised low point.
PC Specifications: Happening with multiple friends across varying pc setups.

Another major bug I've been experiencing since as long as I can remember here as well:
Reproduction rate: 10 in 10.
Steps to reproduce: - Play a Deep Dive or Elite Deep Dive as an engineer.
Expected Results:
When you transition between levels, your ammo should be preserved exactly.
Actual results:
When you transition between levels, your sentry ammo is always refilled to 100%, all other ammo stays at current level.

And this one too: Final bug. This one has been present for a very long time now and occurs whenever you die on anything but flat terrain.
Reproduction rate: varies due to location greatly
Steps to reproduce:
- Die in some manner, doesn't appear to be any particular method that is the key trigger.
Expected Results:
You die and simply lie on the ground.
Actual results:
Your corpse glitches up and down where you have died, approx 0.5m up and down. It is both a visually irritating glitch and can sometimes cancel a res on your team mate.

I've had this issue for the last 2 refinery missions I've done; so I've completed the main part of the mission, and then I'll call the drop pod and it gives me a bridge that is floating off the ground. I play as a driller so I cannot get to it...
It's a bit annoying to say the least since I've done the main mission and then I can't actually complete it. (And sorry if this doesn't count as a bug)

Hey rock and stoners, i've got a problem with DRG... i play the game via Gamepass on the microsoft store with my brother and it was so much fun... until we played with 3 people (me and my 2 brothers), since then i have every 10-15min a crash with no error (the window just closes)... but there was never an update and i tried to reinstall the game and some other things i read on the internet but the "crash" is still happening and its frustrating. :(
Is there anyone who knows a solution?

Encountered a bug with MC voice lines during an escort mission.
Doretta was standing fully refueled and waiting for me, I was collecting nitra. A wave happened, I came to the rescue, and as soon as the wave ended, MC started repeating lines about Dotty being ready to move.
I started the dozer, but MC kept reading lines from that pool until he finally said "The drilldozer is en route to the Hearthstone", after which his behavior resumed as normal.
Later in that mission, next to the Ommoran, Dotty was being constantly attacked by Deepthora bees, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out where they're coming from. I suspect the hive was under the Ommoran bed, because the bees stopped as soon as I lobbed a grenade at Doretta.

I dc'd during an on-site refinery mission as (maybe because?) I was calling down a pumpjack. Upon reconnecting the team and I discovered that the pumpjack was not called and furthermore, could not be called down by anyone. I can't remember if we just had the option but the 'bar' that pops up when you're calling just didn't go up or if we didn't have the option at all but we had to eventually just quit out of that mission.

Yeah I am logged in . I even tried logging out and a prompt comes up asking me to login. Additionally, it has my windows store name on the top right.
However, after googling and seeing a lot of people having the same issue and the only solution that worked for me was to reinstall windows 😛 Luckily, I only use windows for gaming.

This is an issue I have been dealing with since the last major update (Roughnecks), and not before. None of the hotfixes since then have had any impact. What happens is my monitor refreshes the DPI input every time I alt tab to or from the game when it is in fullscreen. It effectively takes 10 times as long to switch windows specifically for DRG and not for any other application on my system. Also, adjusting the settings to Fullscreen, Windowed Fullscreen, or Windowed are completely indistinguishable from eachother and have no impact on this behavior.
EDIT: I mostly resolved this issue by toggling on and off GSYNC
