Anything interactable will block revives from what I've seen
thats why you put sentries ontop of dead allies you hate
no real way to do it, nothing much can be done about it. Best to avoid'em

Hey, not sure if this is the right channel, but my friends and I can't get a group up. The invite button doesn't work no matter how we do it. We started to have this issue a few days ago, but got it to work then...any suggestions?

Yup. The invites go through, but then no one loads into another game. Just stays in their own lobby

So a friend just found a major bug... If you are in the upgrades menu and try to unlock something you cannot afford, press tab once then press enter and it will give it to you anyway

Confirmed I got an upgrade that I did not have resources for. And my friend did it aswell

I was able to reproduce it too. Also, if you have any of the required crafting minerals, they'll still be deducted even if you didn't have enough.

also im playing on radioactive zone, hazard 2, and the cave leech picked me up. gunner shot him and instead of placing me down like it normally does, it hurled me across the room and i died

Seems like there's some sort of "de-sync" bug currently, happens semi-frequently.
Everyone else's mineral locations differ from the host's. They're all in the same locations for the 3 non-hosts though.
It doesn't affect any of the embedded minerals or collectable items (e.g. boolo caps).
Persists even after a reconnect
The "ghost" minerals can't be mined at all.

perks shouldnt be empty, there are 3 traps to check
only one Perk slot is open for me, and the perk i can choose to slot is just black with no name or anything else

Depends. Maybe drago is looking at the Perks tab in the upgrade section
which will be empty if you have not unlocked any, at the Perks terminal in your room
yup you unlock them at that terminal then pick which ones to unlock and equip them in the other terminal

@cunning jacinth the panel is the one in the spawn rooms that has all the fancy stats on it, opposite the class selector and quick play, enter that and there should be different tabs, one is stats one is milestones which give perk points and the last one is the perk tab itself... level 1 perks cost 3 perk points and in the level 2 perk bar there is a 10 perk point cost upgrade that unlocks the second perk slot.

Three times on one mission, I've been grabbed by a leech and Bosco has started firing at a ridiculous angle.
In the first screenshot there were some bugs around, but it wasn't even firing remotely in their direction and it was an open cavern that gave an easy clear shot on the leech.
In the second screenshot there's nothing but the leech in a tight enclosed area, and Bosco is firing into the wall beside itself.
i spawned under the drop pod
when you switch class in the upgrade menu all the weapon icons shift and primary gets duplicated (beta branch)

You can give it a try, but you'll want to have copies of the others elsewhere just in case you have something go weird
Not that it'll help much by having them since they're wiped files, but it doesn't hurt to be safe
I had a similar problem with the MULE getting stuck when going back to the drop pod, but that happened on the stable branch
apparently the MULE couldn't go through the pile of compacted dirt
2nd time ive seen the drop pod gangplank missing
Had an issue in crystaline caverns where I would randomly lose my shields as a gunner. None of my teammates had the same issue. I didn't take any HP damage. This would occur at least once every minute.

when you choose a mission pay attention to the big red hazard signs next to them.
Found a bug with the vanity shop.
If you hover over a cosmetic and exit out of the menu by pressing the exit button on the keyboard, then it'll stay that way when you view the upgrade shop.
(I don't own Rockabilly for Scout.)

In experimental with the milestones I've noticed that as you complete them that the title for the milestone doesn't change. It stays as "complete 2 missions in ________", even though you need to do 5 or so. Would it be easier to just change the title for the mile stones to "Complete missions in ______" or however it would need to be applied?
Playing on xbone, when my controller battery dies and the game auto pauses it will freeze when I re connect with a different controller. Haven’t tried swapping the battery instead yet. It also froze on me when I tried to call up the menu to adjust audio settings during mission launch sequence.
a friend has just restarted the game with a new computer (but with the same steam account) and he lost his progress. Is this normal?
Was a steam syncing thing
I know steam will overwrite data if the same account is used on mutliple computers and one is offline if the option is selected
Hello everyone, me and my wife are having an issue with DRG. It has been working wonderfully and we've loved it but suddenly today it has started to physically disconnect her wireless. It's only happening with Deep Rock, we've tested it with other games and no issues have happened with the other games. It only happens when I attempt to send her an invite to my game, it will either drop her internet right then or let her connect for a very limited time and then knock her internet off. If I connect to HER game, then it works fine. Problem is her current connection is not strong enough to host (she's currently away at the moment).
I've remoted into her computer to check it, everything is working perfectly fine and Teamviewer never disconnected. We tested it with Astronner as well, it never disconnected. Speedtests all come back proper. Connection to her router is good. It has ONLY happened when she attempts to join my game...and only in DRG and it only started happening about 2.5 hours ago.
Playing on xbone when a controller battery dies and you switch controllers mid game it will freeze, tried swapping batteries instead of switching controllers and it did not crash. Seems like the game takes issue with assigning a new controller mid game.
Playing on PC Experimental Branch:
- when grabbed by a Grabber Bosco will struggle quite heavily at keeping up with the grabber that just grabbed the player, in a lot of cases he will just straight up not attack the Grabber at all which will result with the player being dragged for 30+ seconds by said creature and eventually dropped from a high point and die.
nothing major but it would be nice of Bosco could actually try to kill the bug more effectively, because when you get grabbed by these buggers repetitively it can get really frustrating
imo there shouldn't be any grabbers/leeches in solo until someone joins
Grabbers as they are? Yeah they're a bit extreme. Leeches? If they keep getting nerfed they may as well get removed from the game entirely.
What we need is a training room where people can practice hunting leeches.
An entire mission in detail all about learning how to look up. Then people might finally adapt!

if there is a scout, then yeah he SHOULD check, if there is no scout, all the more reason to keep eyes peeled
I can see why it is annoying on solo, on multiplayer fine
i usually look for leeches for my team, and when i see one i highlight it so everyone can see what they look like in the dark. People still get grabbed by them AFTER they've been highlighted. Some people get less awareness than the leeches.
Gunner's pistol to the rescue when someone gets grabbed across the map.
multiplayer completely fine just incourages to stick together
but in solo there's almost no point, at the very least no point for the grabbers
not me, i still go ahead because can kill'em 😛 the game has other mechanics that better encourage sticking together but since death has no penalty there is no reason to be afraid of being killed anyways.
Thats why i want a Cave Leech Hunt mission type
if you go on a mission all about hunting them you will learn how to deal with them, they're just a cool enemy and it'd be a shame to lose them
cave leech hunting would make sense for the lore too

^Grabbers are bullshit. They're hard to hear if anything is going on and had so much hp you could focus them with a minigun and still be grabbed. But they did just nerf their hp 20%
so a gunner should be able to down one in 3 Revolver shots on haz4

I agree with @magic tide there, we should be able to struggle free from the grabber by mashing "Q" and "E" repetitively or any buttons that is, I can understand for the leech since they got you by the neck but the grabbers ? we should be able to hit it with our pickaxe

i'd like it to be an ammo check, the ability to kite ad infinum with 0 ammo is a bit strong and usually delays the inevitable. Besides, the thing grabs you by the shoulders. One time it grabbed me w/ a detpack in my hand and i was really hoping i could blow it mid air...

Bosco seems to be even more dumb than before, I've been grabbed by leeches 4 times and Bosco wasn't even trying to get to me, he was just standing still and looking at the endless depth of Hoxxes while my HP was being drained by these leeches
May have something to do with the recent addition of the Mactera Grabber(s). Perhaps some code needs to be adjusted. Again.
yep... I don't really mind since this is experimental and shits like that can and will happens, I just hope they will fix this before they release the update to the live branch

They are often mistaken for pickaxes
For anyone interested: mattocks have the horizontal adz blade. Pickaxes have a pick and axe (hence the name). Now you know the difference between all three of history’s most ubiquitous mining tools (excluding the shovel)

Gonna be brutally honest? I personally don't care. I prefer just pickaxes. Adding mattocks wouldn't add anything except for maybe a vanity item? But besides that what's the point? How many people would use a mattock over a pickaxe? How many would even care?
Naw, I was thinking pickaxes would have bonus strikes vs hard derbies and sand, dirt, etc would be more easily cleared with a mattock

You could choose based on what environment you’re entering, but you’d be trading that out for the alternative utility

Fighting alone, Driller is one of the most useful characters.

There is a reason these tools were developed. It would be easy to implement and diversify customization.

Because if you tend to have a 2 player team involving a Scout, it's normally Scout and Engie, and the Engineer is now put at a massive disadvantage when he could be playing Gunner or Driller to get around.
No, it would supplant the engineer, remove driller utility, and allow the scout to escape to any wall

Would like to see a 2h pickaxe or 1h mattocks. Different dig sizes, attack speeds, and damage vs glyphids. Maybe we'd see a big 2h mattock that can open a tunnel as tall as a dwarf in one break

Got stuck here by jumping on top of a barrel that was where I am currently standing.
Not my lucky day, then the team died as soon as we got out the pod to a wave of exploders, when the mining pad landed on top of them it piled them up together, I couldn't revive them, would animation cancel me.
and now my game froze on the load in screen

Hi. Using stable branch. The issue is that my engineer stucks at the paths, where driller is digging with the pickaxe. Is my engineer just fat in comparison with the driller or it's just a bug with the increased model engineer?
if he is digging the path adn you are trying to follow its because when digging at angles you can kind of clip through with the dig animation
so you can make a path for yourself that others wont be able to fit in
Scout has had this long-standing bug where he'll say "Out of grenades" or some variation therof
except after literally every single grenade, regardless of how many he has left
happens on th engue to when needing to reload say out of ammo and sounding like the scout

Happens because his grenades got changed from frags to slow grenades; so now when he throws a grenade he thinks he is out of "frag" grenades

I found a bug with leeches.
If two grab you at the same time, you'll get dragged into the one that grabbed you first but the second one will stay attached.
After Bosco shot the first one, I was dragged toward the second momentarily before dropping straight down and taking the full fall damage of the fall.
The second one was not dead yet when this happened.
Bosco did start shooting the second one right after I dropped though, so he recognized that the second one grabbed me, seemingly.
I also had the bug where taking fall damage after being dropped by the leech, except it was only one single leech. I don't know what provokes that bug, maybe is some kind of glitch with the falling distance, or how the leeches were coded previously were yo could take fall damage.

You are only protected up to the distance you were grabbed at. So if you're grabbed midair, or off a ledge, you are safe up to the height you were grabbed from. Any further down you're just falling
That would explain a few things.
It counted the second leech as grabbing me from the point that the first leech was killed.

It kind of sucks thinking you're safe after being freed from a leech and watching it lower you halfway and drop your ass the rest lol

I have not had an issue with this matter yet. i feel as though the mactera have become better then before by a long shot though.

Hey, I just downloaded the trial onto my desktop via the Microsoft Store, and the game freezes after pressing Continue on the screen with the changelog after the title screen. I can hear audio, but the screen is black.

@restive ridge hey James, the only I can suggest is the Intel driver update. Sometimes even new drivers can break something. At the my old laptop once updated driver failed YT vids in full HD, but previous pack was okay, so I rolled back. Also can you check how much video memory allocated to your Intel card? In some BIOSes it's configurable parameter so you can increase the video memory at the expense of your RAM
I recall that I set the video mem allocated to my card to Unlimited in the BIOS a while back when trying to mess around with something else (the only options were "128M", "256M", and "Unlimited").
I'll go try updating my drivers, though; it's been a while since the last time I did that lol

They were however quite hilarious to me and my friends. (NOT EXPERIMENTAL MODE) 2:48, 4:22, 6:00, and 8:47

Are you able to play other Games made in Unreal Engine ? Like Fortnite or PUBG ?
My entire PC just crashed the hell out trying to load a game with someone.
It stuttered as it was trying to load us for a while before freezing entirely. I had to force my PC to shut down via the power button after waiting ten minutes.
Playing on PC Experimental:
When the player is downed the camera will bug out and feel extremely weird, and upon revive the camera will no longer have the "lock" that prevent the camera from getting upside down when moving it up and down
oh... never mind that, a patch just got released that fixed that camera bug, talk about timing xD
i was reviving a player when i died from a leech and now i have the revive animation over ever weapon and item

Updating my graphics drivers seems to have worked like @trail anvil suggested. Not sure why I didn't think of that myself, d'oh.

It's not as easy as that, unfortunately. Different users have different hardware and software configurations - so it may take some time to sort out. Try submitting crash reports, when they happen. It may help pinpoint the problem(s).
hey guys i need a bit of help with the game i used to be able to play it fien but i reasently factory reset my computer and now it crashes everytime i try launch it i dont know where to find the crash logs since the crash report thing i cant see if my computer specs help any here is what they are

Steam or Microsoft Store version?
Option A: If on Steam, go to Steam Library, right click DRG, click "Properties", go to "Local Files" tab, and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files".
Option B: Double check to make sure you're using the Nvidia GPU and not the onboard Intel GPU. Check the Nvidia control panel, not sure how that all works.
Option C: Update GPU drivers, or find ones for your laptop specifically from the laptop manufacturer.

Hey devs, I'm suffering because of too loud intro sound at the game start. My system volume is on 90, because of browser videos (they're not as loud as the game) and so on. I've set near 10% ingame master volume , but this settings is not affecting to the intro video. Can you please do something with that so I couldn't be shocked each time entering the game?

ive had no issues with intro
I just had the pod drop on a flat piece of ground in the Magma area, but the entry to the pod was facing the wrong way in the singlemost awkward position possible.
I physically could not get up to this normally without using several engi platforms, drilling up and around, or Scout's grapple (obviously), and as Gunner I had to fund a very specific bit of ground to make a zipline up, and then another zipline from there to get to the pod entry.
The way the pod was facing made it so that the only way onto it was the way I'm facing. The way to my left is a sheer cliff.
The space in front of me is deeper than it looks.

I don't know if I reported it, but there's been glitches at times where someone is holding a crystal in their hands but I can't see it. Just them waddling with their arms out.
I've also bugged out where I've been holding a crystal and it's disappeared from my hands. I can still use my guns (which hover hilariously in the middle of the screen while my arms are still out like I'm holding them with The Force) and do most things normally, but I still hobble around very slowly, can't drop off minerals, or use resupplies.

they have projectiles with movespeed so they can miss a moving target, if you're shooting while strafing you arnt going fast enough, usually i set them on fire and then start sprinting
It seems almost random to me that they'll miss because I get hit even when grappling.
It's only when I grapple a specific direction diagonally and upwards relevant to them that they seem to miss.
Else if I hide behind Molly, because hiding behind terrain doesn't work due to the fact they can for some reason shoot through walls. -_-

I have a weird bug in my current mission. Since I sprinted up to Molly to put minerals in her at one point, I've been randomly getting stuck in this running animation and unable to interact with her. It's fixed when I shoot my grapple, but nothing I can do will fix it.
It's not consistent, but it seems to happen whenever I do the usual thing of sprinting to Molly to place minerals in her.
I don't have to fully grapple to fix it, only tap the button.
can we fix the framerate messing up the scout grapple and minigun? Because all other weapons work fine
also if you start the game with steam menue opened, as I mostly do to pass time, it starts with the cursor on screen with therefore no way of looking around

Well how to start explaining this one, first thing was that me and a friend were messing around with the new update and trying to mess around with the new enemy type that was added (a lot of fun do have to say :D) so we played on extermination mode. it was going well until we got attacked by some of the new flying creatures that grabbed me and my friend and where he was just damaged a bit i was moved closer to a wall then last thing i knew i was free from the creature as....well i'm not to sure what happened as my friend didn't kill it but it was gone and then my friend said that i was only looking down and unlike on my screen this was not the case but i couldn't look below the middle of the screen nor could i walk forward without it being incredibly slow yet waling sideways was at normal speed, i could still use all of my tools as well as jump but then when i looked up i expected to get stopped at the normal looking limitation but then it carried on going until i could end up looking like it is shown in the image attached. we did die on this mission however and then it was back to normal but i'm pretty sure that this wasn't intended to happen.

ok this has gotten to the point i cant play anymore. When in a game i find sometimes i just cant shoot or right click. sometimes if i mash the button really fast it seems to help. i have tried two separate mice and on a different computer as well. ill click and nothing will happen. ill right click and nothing will happen. it has been getting worse as more patches come out.
i have tried this on both normal and experimental
my mouse works fine in all menus and outside of the game. never missing a click or not responding. this has persisted over multiple reboots, versions and reinstalls.
was doing a mission in Sandblasted Corridors and found this. the surrounding area was shiny jagged rocks that shined in the dark and the ore looked like a square alien cube 🤔

not sure if this has been mentioned, but last night my brother and I tried the new Salvage mode. We couldn't complete it because the mini mule that we had to attach the legs to was floating in the air, out of reach. Also only I (the host) could see the legs, he couldn't. He could pick them up if I sat the leg in front of him as the prompt came up, but he just couldn't see anything. We had to leave the mission 😦 this was on patch day for the live version btw

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug but, Does anyone else have trouble alt+tabbing in the game?
I tried Fullscreen and Windowed and it seems like once I Alt+Tab Out, I have huge troubles getting the game to come up again
It either stalls, or takes a really like time, like 40 seconds of it seeming like it crashed - but it sometimes doesn't and it lags hard as I re-enter from alt-tab
I've had it happen a few times where I had to just End Task on the game due to it just not coming back up

Looks like there are more perfomance issues in lately patched game then before: previously every fight with full dwarf team I had stable 60 fps but now it usually drops below 40 and thats frustrating. 8 gb ram, gtx 960, i5 3450, high quality ingame settings.

The loading screen got stuck at 33% for an entire squad and will not move forward

its a known bug, some thoughts are that it is related to tabbing out but not sure
since it is so random

just started playing again after a bunch of updates and lost the upgrades i had put onto my gunner. only classi have played and upgrades. and dont have the extra creds or anything that would let me re do any of the upgrades
which one? only his +2dmg upgrade is the one thats been added/changed
cosmetics got removed/refunded
it was ether flare or damage. there was way a way to get extra creds early on and i used those and now the upgrades are gone
the frienmd i play with also had his flare upgrades on the scout taken away
@junior monolith regarding tabbing out causing freeze, yes. It's likely known, happens to me all the time. While I sincerely hope GSG fixes these issues, until they do I reccomend just killing the process when it won't tab back in.
you can do that by going to start>run>cmd and typing "taskkill /im FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe /f"
I've also made a batch file to simplify this for myself. You can do the same by opening notepad and typing the following:

taskkill /im FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe /f
quit
you can then save to system32 folder in windows as a .bat file. I named mine drg.bat so that when it freezes on tab-out i can simply just windowskey+r and type drg then hit enter.
Also for any devs reading, Aegis is on windows 10, I'm using windows 7 64-bit with all of the latest updates for windows and drivers on a fresh install of windows, and have the same problem. Obviously this problem exists across OS versions. I'm not sure about hardware. Would be happy to provide specs if you think it'll help narrow down a cause.
@runic barn Thank you for that response. Interesting to know that it isn't just my Windows 10. It's a fairly fresh install stall and I don't have much of anything else on this machine.

@potent nymph single monitor on this machine. Asus VW246h 60hz@1920x1080, both fullscreen and borderless tried to no avail using latest nvidia drivers and an nvidia gtx 1060 over HDMI
Hm that didnt help me much in my theories :S If you have the time, could you write the problem your having specifically? and we can try and see if we can figure something out
specifically tabbing out will often(but strangely not always) cause the application to hang. When it does other processes will not respond normally and the application cannot be exited through normal means. bringing up task manager is problematic (hence the use of taskkill), other programs can be launched but it's as if focus shifting doesn't work properly and they become unresponsive as soon as focus is lost. tabbing back in will not work properly either until FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe is terminated by image name or Process ID(or the machine is restarted).
I should note also that my CPU is an AMD FX series model(FX8350) though I've got a friend with an old intel CPU that has had the same issue. I know there have been stability issues with deeprock on this particular line of CPUs though for some reason I don't think this is related to that.
Being in mission or in the hangar also notably seems to have no bearing on this happening or not.
Not sure if it changed in the latest update, but I found that in singleplayer, being in a menu greatly reduces the chance of the game freezing when alt-tabbing.
Doesn't affect multiplayer games
As a client at any rate, haven't tested as a host

Using steam client. This occurs in fullscreen and borderless mode at 1920x1080 and I've previously tried at 1280x720 as well. I have not tried windowed mode or other resolutions.

I don't have this issue on any other UE 3, UE 3.5 or UE4 engine games. If you have an in-house tool of preference for memdumps (EG AutoDump Plus, or the like.) I'd be happy to install, replicate the issue, and provide a memdump on hang.
If you hold S while in the corner of the elevator the elevator will continue up and you'll remain floating in the middle of it until it comes back down

The ingame mic is a bit glitchy. It was on by default when I started up just now despite it checked off. I had to check it on then off again for it to turn off.
I've seen other people mentioning similar issues and weirdness.
Not sure why, but on point extraction missions the camera slowly starts to rotate. I havnt had this bug on any other mode. Even when standing completly still its noticable
I was never downed. Seems like the camera was jolted, and is trying to compensate.

@gray hound no go, just tried steam launch options to force it into fullscreen at the start to see if window borderless was causing issues. RN my game is stuck in 2002 and loves 240p
@potent nymph An HP 2709m. 1920x1080. r9 290 gfx card. Windows 10 Pro. Nothing particularly fancy. It happens when running borderless, windowed and fullscreen.

@potent nymph So I did some testing. When I'm in the main hub in-game I seem to alt+tab fine. But when I'm in a cave... Just tried it right now in Window mode - It took about 6 seconds of what looks like the game being frozen - then It finally worked
I alt+tabbed again to test, and it seemed to be frozen for about 20 seconds before it finally popped back up. I'm going to test this again while in full-screen
Trying it a few more times in Full-Screen. Seems to be working normally
Same with windowed mode. Working just fine for now.
My maxed gunner armor isn't giving me any explosive resistance does anyone else have this problem?
Anyone else still having trouble with the scout's grapple gun? In about 20 minutes of playtime I've gotten it to successfully hook onto a wall 12 times and out of those it dropped me halfway during 9 of them

Gunner's final armor upgrade is currently broken; both Gunner and Scout's final upgrade got broken at the start of testing for this update, but Scout's was fixed just before launch. Hopefully Gunner's will get a fix soon.
The only thing I've noticed with the Scout's Grappling Hook is that if you jump, fire, and then touch the ground again before it fully engages and starts reeling you in, it cancels the grapple and you have to wait through the timer. Could this be your issue, or is it something else? (other than the obvious letting go of the button mid grapple)
I've used several different mice to make sure it wasn't me letting go of the button mid-grapple. I've tried it standing still, falling, jumping, sprinting, and walking, and it just doesn't grapple at all
It's been annoying before with maybe one of every three attempts to grapple not working, but this is getting to the point of "I spent three full minutes trying to grapple to the top of this cave doing everything imaginable and the grapple gun just kept instantly reloading"
60fps average, nothing usually drops it lower than that. I'll see if I can record a video - it seems to work (mostly) fine in solo play, also
How to fix frequent Crashing/Freezing randomly and on tab-out
There's an issue with Realtek Audio Chipsets and/or some AMD CPUs that can cause stability problems in DRG.
Thanks to a recent update you can now fix this by disabling Master EQ through an in-game options setting. If you're crashing often or freezing on tab-out try disabling Master EQ under the Escape> Options> Audio menu.
Huh, doing a quick serach on that setting it seems like it was a problem for players of Conan Exiles in 2017 too.

I've been getting this bug for about 2 months now, somehow kept forgetting to report it, prob already has been. But occasionally when I start the game, it will be apparently fps locked to like 25 or something,(I play in windowed borderless, freesync) I can however quick fix it by changing screen to fullscreen, then back to windowed borderless.
Easily fixable for me but has been annoying to do frequently
you are able to have a resupply pod inside a fuel pod by calling both at same location and it will then be harder to access the fuel pod
from what i have had you can then only repair the fuel pod at the corners of the resupply pod

You can overflow the value of minerals in the buy trade menu, which brings the 2.141billiion cost of minerals into an overflown number
Now to figure out if you can actually get the 'buy' button to work. usually it's greyed out when you get too many minerals on the table, but once the number is overflown it lights up, but gives an error sound if you try to press it
Not saying I'd exploit a glitch but I'd totally exploit a glitch for what is effectively limitless resources.
So this happened, I was reviving someone but I didn't noticed there was a cave leech on the ceiling
I got downed and when I got revived, I had this animation loop, couldn't make it stop without going leaving the team and re joining
another grabber bug, was shooting at it, dealt a lot of dmg to it with gunners minigun, dealtmore than enough dmg needed to scare it off and as it turned away it grabbed me and carried me off centre as seen in the image, so could see through walls as we passed by.
And then your viewmodel screws up and becomes buggy

Happened to me today, when I was released by a cave leech I got stuck underground.

Also, while you're nearby: Is the issue with the Scout doing the gun flip animation, instead of reloading, when you hit reload on a partial full rifle a know issue, or should I dig into a more thorough report?
its intentional as far as i know, is there a problem with it?
Intentional if the gun's magazine is full, sure; this is when the gun is partially or completely empty and needs to be reloaded. The first attempted reload just flips the gun sometime, and you have to hit it again to actually reload.

its not a known issue, and i just tried for myself and didnt get the problem. I know that when playing with a controller, and picking up and item, it will reload aswell, since its the same button, but maybe its unrelated
I gotta run, but I'll work on a proper bug report when I'm free. My initial guess is something to do with quickly switching to the weapon and then trying to reload. Pretty sure it was, and still might be, a thing with Gunner's pistol as well, but I haven't noticed it lately.

Reproducing this was 'random', but without better tools I'd argue the randomness is likely just a very tiny window of time for this to occur.

Funny. That's exactly what I tried first - switching weapons or bringing up the Pointer.
Apparently I wasn't taking the idea far enough. (By timing it.)
It's a really small window if you're trying to do it. Happens enough under normal conditions to be annoying, without being obvious. Testing Gunner's pistol now.
Yup, Gunner's pistol does the same. Window seem like right when it unholsters and settles.
Sometimes the game also fails to select the next weapon slot, so it'll select an empty slot or what's in between them, during animations.
Perhaps this has something to do with that?
If you bring up the Laser Pointer and quickly holster it, just as the Drop Pod starts to rise up, on Mission start, for example.

Scout works this way. It really is an extremely small window.
Haven't tested Gunner, yet.
What's weird, is that if you mash the reload key too often, it doesn't work.
You have to press it a set amount of times and then stop, or the normal reload is played.

Go for it, and yes, double clicking reload has been my solution to keep it from happening in-game.
Think it's fairly consistent, as long as you get the timing right.
And I had better luck getting consistency out of the Gunner's Pistol, so pretty safe to say it's a timing thing.

So it's not a bug but I didn't know where else to post this so here goes. It is similar to the problem and picture posted just above me except one thing, its up a straight vertical hole with absolutely no chance of getting out. I understand with the way the game generates the level that this may happen time to time, it happens every time I play and is very frustrating. Spending thirty plus minutes on a mission, scoring a bunch of rare materials and you fail and lose most of it because the escape is 2 floors above your head with no way of getting there. I love the game but am considering walking away from it because of this frustrating escape pod placement. Not sure how to fix this but please fix it fast, Thanks.

Just finished a game and same thing, drilled straight up for the five mintue period and found no path and died

I do find it sometimes in tight areas, but I've never found it poking through a roof or at the top of a hole.

That's where a supply drop came down.
They tried to fix it so Molly doesn't use those holes to return to the drop pod, but it still happens from time to time.
Ok makes sense and I have found my way out one or two time but mostly it happens in parts of the cave with no paths up
If it's constantly happening, try calling Molly a ways away from where you've called in supply drops before hitting the button.

Yeah, the supply drop holes can get you killed, especially when you're running back up and find one in the middle of the tunnel from the drop sitting 30m down. :)

The 'normal' vertical cave shafts are 20-30m wide, and it would have been something you already had to traverse down to get hung up on those. Figured it was supply pod holes. Hopefully your next missions go a little smoother.

The tilting seems to have different causes or triggers, which is why it can happen on all classes, apparently.
I keep getting an error message, "Multiplayer session ended" whenever I try to join an online game, I'm on Xbox. Anyone know how to fix?

I can still move the cursor over to the close, and that works fine though
when you no clip with the grabber hahaha.
i was falling and got grabbed offsetting my position he had me in.
Being grabbed in the falling state can cause all sorts of weirdness.
(e.g. When you jump, just before it grabs you.)
Not sure if it's a small visual glitch or just intentional, but I just found a vein of ore with some smoothed out parts instead of the normal, chunky looking texture.

A grabber just grabbed me as it was fleeing away from my friend past me and the speed boost it gets as it flees made it too fast to stop, and then it dropped me through the world into the cave many meters below the drop pod tunnel.
I'm pretty sure they aren't meant to be able to grab while fleeing. I wasn't even directly in its path, I was running toward its side to shoot it with my Scout's shotty.
Guys, I recently had a bug in the desert biome. While carrying an egg I got pushed by a sand stream, and i couldn't run, mine, or interact with anthing else until entering the hub
Mh today i joined a game with people "cheating" i guess. The gamename said it already when ive read it again. Inside mule been already 300+ bismor which isnt possible in a single game i bet. Hostname was Matjoj or Matjoy. Dunno but mabye a report button would be awesome for such stuff.

I have been wondering if anyone also has had this problem with the recent xbox one/windows 10 update. So, I have been trying to join my friend's multiplayer session on xbox through my pc, but it keeps telling me that the multiplayer sessions has ended. This also occurs when he tries to join my session.

there was now update that fixed the issue that some for reason it didn't start up
On a salvage mission, grabber gets me and drops me into drop pod and I end up inside it. Team manages to repair pumps and the opening of the drop pod has a minute left on it when the other 3 party members die, lifting me off to safety, and a mission pass.
Not sure if this is known, or if it happens on other modes, but in a salvage mission there was a crystal clipping through the drop ship

Anyone else have serious freezing issues when alt+tabbing on pc with this game open?
I had a couple of elimination games were sometimes a Dreadnought, after breaking their armor and entering the enraged state, would endlessly chase me and never use their spit or AOE attacks.
I'm not 100% sure how to reproduce it, I just have the theory that it happens when another players joins the game.
To clarify, I was hosting public games and started the missions alone.

well, this should be extremely rare bug i guess, and fun, but i post anyway. we landed on the jellyfish and it went through the pod
on another occasion, there was a tunnel right behind the swarmer nest (front side is a normal room) no idea if it worked normally or not.
the game keep running after closing it but i cant find it in task manager (at least steam say it already running so i cant open it again) any ideas witout restarting my computer?
You could try to restart Steam

yes, its annoying. When you start a mission your light is off, it turns on automatically when you leave the dropship. Its got some kind of proximity thing to switch your light on. Switches it off sometimes ><

during extraction time the first 3 minutes of t was molly getting up not moving and sitting back down to let us load. then the drop pod spawned in an inaccessible area. the molly glitch then fixed itself at 3:30 mins in the extraction timer. then teleported to the drop pod via failsafe. so we couldn't find the way out even if there was one

thought id bring this one to your attention, the spot she was stuck in was also a bunch of slag and torn space. maybe the explosive slag and suicide residue kept Molly from moving but we werent sure

My game is freezing everytime I can't move or aim but I have 40 fps on low settings how can solve this problem ?

Hey guys ive just recently started playing again and im having an issue where my game freezes up briefly when playing, ive tried changing to high performance on cpu and gpu in settings, and ive added in that line of code into engine.ini as suggested in the pinned section on steam. nothing seems to be fixing it for me. hosting not hosting dosent matter.

try both restarting the game, and then only one of you needs to host a game, then send invite or join through steam
he can also try joining your game directly from your steam page

My game keeps crashing on a mission start up. It doesn't matter who is hosting me or other players my game just crashes as soon the mission starts. It runs perfectly fine in the HQ.

so it turns out you can get blasted out of the escape pod by sand corridor's wind tunnels, and it results in the mission failing because no dwarf was on the pod
a pretty lame way to fail the mission, but it was funny
A bug with the loadscreen when if it doesn't load at all and you keep trying to rejoin occurs. To my understanding, this has been a problem for some time now.

I reinstalled the game but it still crashes on mission start. It doesn't matter if I try solo or online it always crashes as soon as the countdown for the mission start ends.

Just a small Bug/Glitch one of my teammates got stuck and could not move from here. After multiple team kills to free him we had to abandon our brother and left him to the bugs this cost us a perfect team multiplier

I have had 2 games where i call her and she just paces back and forth and i have to run back and call her every two steps just to get her to move and if i do it farther distance she goes back to the same spot she was pacing and just paces back and forth

I was saying that she would basically be stuck pacing back and forth between on specific spot, if i ran through a tunnel and called her once she would not come like she was lost, the only way i could move her was if i called her 2 ft away so she waould move 2 ft deploy then i would move 2 more ft and repeat
@robust wing Depends if you're hosting. I cant play in others games because of lag issue, so I only host. Always when that bug happens, its because of other players. As soon as one of them leaves ( or sometimes all of them) it starts loading again normally)
I have worked on a fix for next patch, hope it works because its very hard to reproduce.

Deep Pockets sometimes do not work when you`re client and connecting to other host. Have Deep Pockets (+10) but still all mineral cap is 40. When i reequip perk in lobby afterwards - it works as intended (50 cap).

There's a bug where the scout slowing grenade sometimes flashes my screen with a white light rapidly, it's very painful to look at and I have to look away from the grenade

got an amazing drop pod spawn where i had to dig up and around to the top of the pod to get out because the ramp didn't deploy within traversable space

I’ve had spawns where I’m dropped out of the pod as it’s digging down and then I’m under it at the start of game

i actually found out the hard way that if i just screw around on the internet while sitting in the pod, it'll return with me in it and drop me down the access chute when it despawns on the map edge
neither of these things feel like bugs so much as they feel like unacknowledged joke mechanics

Found a glitch involving carry able items(eggs, pearls, etc). If you pick up the item and drop and then someone else picks it up quickly, if you have bad connection or are lagging the game will still think you are carrying the item. This leads to weird weapon view models, where you are holding the gun in the middle (looks like you are aiming down sights if you are using scout’s shotgun), and you run at the speed of which you normally go if you are holding the item. You can still shoot and deposit minerals, but you can’t resupply or pick up other items. Is this just a mishap on my end or do other people have this?
