Aaaaa I've had this exact problem since Monday 19 May! The last time I played was Saturday 17 May and everything worked fine, then when I logged in Monday, no servers, deep dive error. Tried everything stated and other things like deleting files and reinstall, different computers... I thought DRG servers were down but other friends can play it fine. It's been almost a week now and hasn't come back

I've bought many DLCs, have 500+ hours of multiplayer, and spent many days and evenings helping out greenbeards, but it seems management has terminated my crew mining contract. Now I'm out in the wild with only Bosco 😭

you can launch the game with dx11 and use performance enhancing mods (you can ask about them in #modded-drg-chat) but it's not a guarantee it will work

We go near the Data Rack and we find all the Core Spawns but we cant find a Single Core Stone in the Area
The Core Spawn Kept on Spawning out of nowhere and we couldnt find the Core Stone if it even Excisted

In Conclussion we might have started an Infinite Core Stone Event or a Core Stone got activated without us Knowing.

I think you'll be fine, I don't think there's any in-game moderation for hacking to get resources. If you're worried, you can start a new save from scratch, and only join lobbies you trust.

I am having massive graphical lag issues and I don't know why. It isn't a constant low framerate it is when I open the bar on the station and when enemies spawn at the start of a swarm and during a swarm as random points. The game will freeze for a few seconds (Uo to about 11 seconds) after which I am frequently dead. I have a computer plenty powerful enough in fact I just had it upgraded not even 2 weeks ago. Is there any news on Steamsocket disconnections (as client)? I still keep getting these daily, last 3 games. In the previous game I had it repeat 3 times, but on the third one I was too slow to end process and wasn't able to come back anymore...

user workaround: end process before seeing [Close] popup, starting the game again should let you reconnect, if you see the Close popup - you won't be able to reconnect because the game won't let you anymore at that point (for no good reason, drg pls!)

okay so i've been having this again intermittently (as in, it kept fixing itself and breaking again and again), and i narrowed it down to certificate issues
specifically, my event viewer is spammed with:

beyond that, i'm stumped in regards to how to definitively fix it

Error 0x80092013 appears to be related to an inability to reach CRL / OCSP servers. Those servers tell a client whether a given server certificate has been revoked.

As to why this is happening to you specifically...no real clue.

If you are familiar with Wireshark, you could grab a packet capture of when DRG is giving you an empty list of games to join / when you see that event. That would probably be the most effective next step.

Been troubleshooting this for 7 hours now. I had too stringent of a firewall ruleset - again, apparently... I reset my firewall policy, rebooted my PC, DRG worked.

Only "Made karl proud" and one that makes me see the duration of buffs and debuffs on my character. Aka texture mods/client side that I can join any server with.

I got it after finishing a core hunt + not picking a weapon skin after finishing an event in the mission so it would just decide for me.

If you ever used cheats, be aware those can break your save too.

I won't try to update the graphics card driver now, I'll do it in the future because of work. Although that resolution doesn't seem to make much sense for the problem I'm having. I could understand if it was a graphics or performance problem, but the internet doesn't seem to make sense. But I'll try that another time.
My current installation is also clean and done using the method you mentioned.

Regarding Antivirus, nothing in quarantine or related
Firewall is not the problem either.

However, the game says I'm online. Friends of mine can join my lobby and I can join their lobby. I was also able to download mods from the game itself. However, I don't have access to Deep Dives, weekly missions or other people's lobbies.
I have internet on my PC, steam and other games on steam. Only the game doesn't update the database. I'll try other things in the future.

I still dont have access to the weekly missions or deep dives.

After testing a few things, I think it's just that the game for some reason isn't connecting to the steam servers. It detects when I disconnect and connect the internet but it still doesn't update the game's stuff

I've also checked whether the problem is again with the firewall, my internet service or DNS, but the problem persists anyway. This is the only game I'm having problems with.

Depending on the context, it could be yes or no.

I'll continue looking for a solution when I can, I just came here to see if there was already a solution to this problem, but apparently it's not that common or there's no fixed solution. If I manage to fix it, I'll let you know.

Oh, and by the way, I don't want to contradict what @storm tendon said. From a different point of view, he's right, it's recommended to keep windows up to date, but only because of security updates. feature updates are relative, because there are lots of them that would rather not be needed.

I have a very long explanation for material/ore scattering

But before, i play with a low end laptop at 720p avg 45fps

I was testing my laptops capabilities with a mod called "spawn menu", and found out couple things

Ive equipped the bug thing perk and went on to a random single player game

The spawn menu mod has the capability to spawn any thing any where at any count

So i went on an spawned 25 lootbugs close to me

Upon each one of 25 lootbugs blowing off close to me at an open space the nitra and gold and other ores scatter around violently and it dropped me from my 45fps to 25fp but then came back once every single ore came down to ground

It wasnt a bad thing , but it was expected to drop fps

But then i tried to do the same thing in a closed space and my fps dropped to 10, and kept like it for 20 seconds even when it seem to that every single ore / mineral fell to ground

But then i went to test the other thing, i have spawned couple of golden detonators and killed them

Then spawned couple more boscos

And then added it up to be 7

And then made them mine the gold left by golden detonator

At first it was ok

Forgot to mention i had a "slightly better bosco" mod (it allows to pickup the minerals that are being mined)

But then after a minute or so the boscos kept mining the gold but visually the change was quite late and after the boscos mined all gold visually terrain changed after only like 10 or 12 seconds

AND then i went on testing another thing, i equipped the bug thing perk again

But this time i spawned 25 golden loot bugs

And kept on blowing them offf

So what's the bug? It sounds like you're experiencing performance loss from using mods to induce situations that would never occur vanilla.

Apart from the obvious frame drop the player started stuttering, and at 25k gold minerals lying in the ground player model glitched thru walls and kept going/falling into void with a very high velocity, and i couldnt open the menu or end abort the mission

From what i understand , each fallen mineral requieres individual gpu side render and depending on the users machine at some amount of minerals not picked up from the ground the framerate will start to drop, there is a video evidence on yt that when 1 drg youtuber tried to get 10k gold (and i bet they had a strong machine)

I still don't see what the bug is. Everything incurs a performance penalty. You can't have objects interacting with the environment for free. Playing the game well beyond its intended scope isn't a bug.

Guys, I have a problem. When I was playing drg one day, my pc suddenly shut down and I think my save files got completely corrupted. First of all, after that incident, whenever I open the game, there is a second app running in the background. It Has the same icon as main drg and It's called "Bootstrap packaged game".
So far I tried to restore saves from before the crush, manually delete save files from the folder, and I also veryfied game files on steam multiple times. I even uninstalled the game, and installed it again, but nothing is working. I still get the bootstrap game thingy, and my game still randomly crushes and shut downs my pc. Can anyone help me with this? What can I do?

That's not a bug. You're bypassing steam initialization.

System shutdowns are a hardware issue. Typically insufficient cooling or transient power spikes triggering some protection.

Confirmed my theory. Bosco will not come revive you if everyone else disconnects while you're downed and you do not have IW, even if Bosco appeared several times during your mission and even if Bosco has lives left. The game resorts to failing you, instead.

my guess might be you were super far away from the drillevator when it dropped and some client jank caused it to keep emitting the particles for landing

It bugged again, but this time I managed to record my gameplay and clip it (video 1).
Now I (we?) need to analyze the videos and try to reproduce whatever happened there.
Also there were moments where the bugged buzzing disappeared (2), then reappeared (3), then disappeared again (4).

Video 1: Sound got stuck only after the second salvo, when I used Jetty Boots (the sound stuck can be heard from the left side while I'm flying away);
Video 2: When I equip the Diffractor and swap back to the LOK-1, the lingering sound can be heard behind (just to note that the sound is still bugged). When I equip it again and fire, the bug goes away;
Video 3: First salvo doesn't retrigger the bug. Second salvo is bugged while I'm firing in the air with Jetty Boots;
Video 4. Bugged sound goes away again after firing while on the ground.

What I currently understand from my gameplay and off-camera testing:

1. Automated Beam Controller overclock is not the reason, as I had this bug long before I unlocked it (my old video that I answered to);
2. Quick tapping to trigger the pre-fire buzzing doesn't cause it to get stuck;
3. Interrupting the beam doesn't cause it either;
4. Some Jetty Boots sounds are awfully similar to the Shard Diffractor buzzing and on videos the sound bugs while I'm in the air maybe there is some connection

Don't know if this is a bug, but I'm playing with an EasySMX controller, and when moving the camera with the right stick, it seems to move left very slowly, to the point that I can barely track enemies moving in that direction. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

Also, it seems that when I tab out of the game to do something on my second monitor, my cursor drifts to the right. I suspect these may be related.

Seems that a very fun thing that has disappeared some time ago is that during mission loading video is missing a space littered with barrels with which everyone before departure could fill up the protective blue-colored floor where the docked drilling capsule stands. I try to throw barrels there every time before mission start but they do not apeear scattered in space during a mission start video. Can some developer reply if that feature somehow missed and could it be returned in memory of Karl and for the sake of all fallen dwarves?

There's this bug where if you use a keyboard and mouse on a PS4, you are unable to break free from ice and the other thing that captures you. Basically you can't swing the L3 button because there is no alternative on your keyboard or mouse. Only solution I've seen online is to connect a controller to break free.

hotloading in the spacerig led to issues, so preloading mods before loading seemed more stable. Then we also updated the Mod.IO API to get a bunch of updates and bugfixes. Their ingame browser isn't great though 😭

But you should still be able to use the website, subscribe to mods and then install them in the start menu, just doens't work in your case sadly

Has anyone else been having an issue joining missions? For a few weeks now ive been having this issue where ill go to join someone and get stuck "JOINING ..." for 2 whole minutes before failing. I cant cancel the joining. Its driving me crazy.

I leave my matrix cores in the infuser and when the mission is over it usually prompts me with one of the leftover options (all minerals in my case) but just now after letting the 2 minutes time out rather than alt f4 it gave me a mineral matrix core. Despite me loading into the game and choosing a mission to join. Very odd.

whats the mod that lets you have the old mod menu i neeed it so bad

i can no longer acces the new mod menu because when i press the button to send me to the screen that the mod menu is on it just sends me back to the space rig

where i would be if we NEVER HAD THE NEW MENU

my hatred for this new menu is boundless

i hate how i can no longer manage my mods from the space rig and now have to wait through another loading screen

sometimes when i launch the game it auto undownload all my mods and i have to find them all all over again and redownload them

why did the devs ever do this

I got pretty strange, yet common problem. While I’m playing with my friend I disconnect pretty often. Usually it starts with the inability to throw flames, dig terrain and every player will just go in the direction that they went at the moment when disconnect appears. After 15-60 seconds the game understands that I was disconnected and kick out off the lobby

There are no problems with internet connection on both sides

Is there anything I should try to fix this issue?

Again, I submit an issue and attempt to attach a video to the discussion that pops up like the message inside such shows, but it again says I don't have permission to send messages in the channel. I already have a role with Steam via the reaction, do I also have to do so with a class even though I play all of them fairly evenly, or is there another reason why I can't add a video to that channel?

i just saw deep rock got another modding update fix, is there any plans to fix the EPC audio bug or some of the other small audio bugs? they are really annoying and immersion breaking, the EPC one especially because its kind of REALLY LOUD and the only way to make it stop is to shoot again and waste a shot. If people dont know, if you shoot too fast with the EPC it starts making a loud searing noise and you must shoot slow to not cause it, even if you switch weapons it continues.

There seems to be an issue regarding pots o’ gold on Xbox 😰 when prepped for a mission, and after purchasing PoG and drinking it to get the buff, launching the mission instantly kicks you out of the game! That’s no fun

hi, i've been playing for a few months now and i've been having audio stuttering nonstop, i've tried most of what i could find online to no avail, it happens mostly during swarms (i think due to alot of stuff going on)

Try those in that order : update your GPU drivers/use dx11 launch option/make sure the game is using the right GPU/do a clean driver install using DDU/try to turn off 'core auto boost' or whatever is the equivalent of this in your BIOS/turn off your antivirus while playing (and check if no files from the game have been quarantined)
