Whenever I try to do season related events (specifically lithopage outbreak and core stone), I have a really intrusive visual glitch. I have tried tweaking my settings, lowering them, but to no avail. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?

Normally I just avoid doing core stone / lithopage but recently I have begun playing with my friends, who are new to the game and want to try these events. It only lasts for the mission, and persists even after the event is complete.

This is going to sound ridiculous. It's not a bug, but this gap between the laser and the weapon at fov above 100 gives me some agony (I like playing with high fov)

has anybody noticed the cluster charge overclock on the hurricane acting differently lately? A couple weeks back maybe a month or two at most I used it for quite a while and basically all the bomblets would stay inside of the radius shown on the ground letting me precisely hit a group of enemies at a distance but using it again today im noticing the bomblets shoot out of the radius on the ground even when in close proximity to the ground, best way I can describe it is like if the spread got increased on the bomblets. I am using verified mods only and the exact same ones I was using before, none of the mods impact gameplay much its mostly just UI changes such as heat indicator for guns that generated heat or damage text for enemies.

the game stopped working overnight, so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and I have the same error message in a loop that tells me "error writing to disk"

I just got this game on steam, and when I try to open it the two logos play with sounds and then nothing else, and it seems to be doing nothing when looking at task manager.

I've tried All DirectX settings twice, tried disable modding and tried windows 8 compatability mode but still nothing.

Any help would be really appreciated as i just got this game and I was really looking forward to joining this community.

I was fighting nemesis with three others in the latest deep dive stage one last night and I got grabbed while it was being destroyed. It proceeded to let me go but I was stuck in a fixed camera angle and I couldn’t get it fixed til I died.

Anyone already bring up the bug where in the main ship your character just looks up and starts spinning, hitting "enter" stops it while you type but you literally can't control your character at all. The only way I've seen to get it to stop is by disbanding the entire group which gets annoying if you're just about to go into a mission with 4 people

Took a few days but i figured out this bug.

  1. Go to the top left and click on Deep Rock Galactic.
  2. Click on privacy settings.
  3. Un-select Direct Messages and then re-select it.

I have an issue where in a salvage mission, the hole from the exit drop pod has no top so you can basically just go up infinitely. I can also encounter a bug with the voicelines with the core stone boss where when you first enter a level, a voiceline where the dwarves mention how the corespawn crawlers won't stop spawning unless you kill the core stone can play while you're still in the drop pod. these are very minor but I think I should still mention it

In my experience, those artifacts are coming from poorly/corrupted/outdated drivers, or from a GPU that doesn't support dx12.
Or because DRG suddenly decided to use the iGPU instead of the main GPU (no idea why the game does that though).

hey guys, ive noticed some dumb issue, i run the game at 120FPS and if i don't have mouse smoothing enabled, mouse movement refreshes every 2 frames only, i've verified with a video player using step functionality

this video is recorded in 120fps and watching it on anything below 120hz is futile but you can still verify with going frame by frame

the game shouldnt give you this error when you're re-connecting after a crash, the LAST thing the game should be making you do is forcing you to restart a mission from scratch after getting disconnected unexpectedly

my friend crash in the "press key to continue" screen the game just close instantly with no error sometimes he get past the screen but he crash instantly after he is on the gamepass version he reinstalled the game he repaired his files.

Stuck to a pipe in refinery. I lost count how many times this has happened where I solo a refinery mission, jump on the pipe or framework of it and I am stuck to it, unable to get off. This is not new, tricks people have come up with (goes to show how long this is been going on) is having a resupply land on you or C4 or once a teammate burrowed under you. And, very often NOTHING works, lost mission if you're SOLO.

Hey y'all, sorry this is kind of in the middle of a separate discussion, but a buddy of mine keeps getting a black screen when starting up the game. He hears the beer pouring noise, but then the game just black screens. It doesn't crash per se, but doesn't progress the start-up either. So I called Vectra, first lady told me that this is some issue since saturday affecting other providers and entire country in general, and that it affects also Telegram and Whatsapp (which I can confirm at least regarding Telegram). Then she redirected me to some dude, who had only one answer for me - to log traceroute of a connection to check where the packages got dropped. Im sincerely sorry for non-technical customers trying to address this issue.

I just had a mission with the jump boots and at some point I broke them so every time I would use them i would get slammed into the ground and take full damage. Even if I just lightly jumped like tapped button twice and started flying slam into the ground, and I go down.

So i was in a salvage mission, after doing the triangulation, the thing was underground, not my idea. I exited the hole, then 3 of the four in the mission died, i was being rezed and the mission failed, i was host, and i didn't end it. our only idea of what happened is that the fuel cells failed to spawn

Hello, my Dark Future DLC armor paintjob is only available for scout, the paintjob is missing in gunner, engineer, and driller. I already reinstalled the game and such however the armor paintjob only appears in the scout although the weapon paintjob is available on all characters

I have been unable to join the multiplayer lobby for while.
It was working fine at first and i had been playing multiplayer with my friends but recently whenever I accept an invite, it shows me a screen saying "Multiplayer session has ended".
I reported the issue as well but the suggestion in the reply didn't help. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but that hasn't helped either. Can someone help me with this problem?

While playing as scout and using the Deepcore GK2 as my primary, fairly often when I shoot it (using a PS5 controller on PC) the audio will get “stuck” wherever I was physically shooting and other players can hear it as well. It goes away eventually. It’s been happening for months now.

Oh no, that was brutal! Watching the way the Bah Barnacle took you out like that was almost poetic in how unexpected it was. It’s crazy how the game can throw such an innocuous-looking enemy at you, and then—BAM!—it’s all over. Those little critters are deceptively dangerous. You think you’re just minding your own business, scouting around the cave or setting up your next move, and then suddenly you’re being pulled into the depths.

I have a question to ask and I'm not sure if it's specifically for PlayStation. I was helping someone in a session when something odd happened. They disappeared, even though there name and health bar was still available. Tried looking for them using a device, forgot the name, they weren't showing up anywhere. Had it happen to a teammate once and took a long time to get them free. Just kept destroying terrain -> placing platforms under them -> destroying the platforms.. and eventually they escaped

Bug or intended feature? I was fighting the caretaker and went down, so I used Iron will (I had it equipped because I forgot to change from the loadout I use with friends). However, I didn't go back down, and it didn't use one of Bosco's revives.

recently i have been having a serious issue with the game consistently crashing on me and booting me out the day after i had bought and downloaded it. Encountered some weirdness trying to play the game for the first time in months. Takes me a few presses of the 'press any key' screen to actually load into the Rig, and if I press it multiple times, it just acts as though I were still in the intro screen and won't let me control my dwarf. It goes back to normal after I alt-tab.

If it helps, my GPU drivers are the latest Nvidia ones, on a GTX 1070ti, I'm on Windows 11 23H2, latest cumulative update installed.

I encountered what I would assume is a tiny problem, when interacting with the miner community board and accepting the invite to discord, the in game terminal doesn't update to let me select one of three factions, I got all the roles presented in the welcome tab and I wanted to join Dirt Digger and even thou I accepted the invite to discord and did the roles, the terminal on the ship still prompts me with joining discord, i restarted the game, i left and rejoined the server and still same issue, a few days ago i tried the terminal and was able to join and interact with the community board and select one of the 3 factions but now it seems to be stuck on "Join Discord" Sconk (i have a few screenshots if needed)*

Ran into an unusual issue in DRG: Survivor.

Freezing the charger Dreadnaught Twin mid-jump so they YEET themselves off the level and then hurting the remaining Twin so they hit the 'mutual heal' threshold will render them both invulnerable, keeping the charger alive - but the charger will be OOB and cannot return to the map to heal the spitter, softlocking the game.

Weird spawning bug - corestone activated on mission entry, wouldn't take damage either. I assume it spawned too close to the kursite thing and it broke it like part of the terrain. Felt like a sneak peak into rogue core! Hopefully those guys are the real special forces!

The core stone spawned without it's "obelisk" above the goo, it stayed dormant, had no collision nor could have been hit. Jumping in it's place resulted in getting pushed into the cave level below.

Has anyone reported a ue start-up crash on linux recently? I haven't played on this laptop in a few months so I don't know when it would have started. Just because it runs on proton does not mean it will continue to do so. GSG has no intention of deliberately breaking its operation via proton, however they lack the team size for dedicated support.

however this one mission i had here the normal caves that run along would every now and then have a stretch of the cave that was this tiny long hole that was supposed to be the cave. as can see in the image half the hight of a dwarf

these are only a few of the images i took. there were many more of these tiny holes that were supposed to be the normal spaghetti cave your supposed to run through to get to the next big area.

those aren't cut off section who didn't generate terrain (it's rare but it can happen), it's debris being placed in an annoying way within corridors.

Crystalline cavern is one of the few biomes who have that happen but it's also the most noticeable one on virtue of being the only one that happens in with a terrain being this slow to mine

#

it can happens in other biomes though, mainly Salt Pits (usually rare, because the debris generation isn't even close to being the same), Sandblasted Corridors (mostly from hard rock pillars) and Glacial Strata (a lot more noticeable because ton of debris there. You can even get hard pillars and smooth ice generating and completely blocking off the path).

I don't know if this is a "bug" per-se, but I'm trying to run the game on Ubuntu (which I havent had problems with before) and for whatever reason the game keeps freezing for a while on loading screens. For context I'm running this on an SSD so it should not be taking 2 - 3 minutes just to join a friend's lobby

Linux is not supported even with proton. Common troubleshooting steps (especially on Ubuntu with its auto updates) are to force an update and restart your system.

I recently got a new computer. I moved from a very old computer. I'm experiencing a new problem where, very rarely, the screen will go black for a couple seconds then it will return. Sometimes it seems like the game is alt-tab'ing because the context will change. Other times the focus stays on DRG. But in either case I get a black screen then the game returns after 1-3 seconds. Any ideas what this might be? I've played a few other games and there doesn't seem to be the same issue with other games.

I haven't tried any of the first step troubleshooting tips that are pinned. I am asking this initially because I'm curious if this a common issue that people know of already. Maybe its a newer hardware issue???

I've had this problem for a few days now. My player levels aren't "matching". After i complete a mission, it displays [first image], but when i spawn in the rig, it displays [second image]. I haven't tried uninstalling the game. It's also not just a visual bug, the shop doesn't treat me as a higher level.

I swear, the amount of times I've failed Kursite Infection because the last 1-3 enemies just refuse to spawn! I've just failed another one, 5/6 Mactera Spawn. Digging all over the place to nearby caves for a full minute (minute thirty remaining) trying to hopefully find it in a place it failed to path from, only to just fail because the game decided to stop spawning them.

Anyone else finding bugs have Ungodly levels of speed on solo? I run away from a swarm to get a little bit of breathing room, and then they just speed the @$#% up to warp speed when I start sprinting so I'm constantly getting bit on the ass every half second by a different bug despite being at a dead sprint ... like they lose their speed only long enough to pause and attack then they're right back up to warp speed and I can't ever get any breathing room

Hi, hope this is the right place to report a bug.
I was in a mission in glacial strata and my fps dipped down to 30, and even less. This stopped when I killed a septic spreader that was frozen in one of those cold stream vents that come out of a wall. No one else in the lobby mentioned this and I was the host.

I played an elite deep dive yesterday where we had to kill 3 dreadnoughts easy but the first cocoon had a hive guard in a small cavern that glitches probably and instead of targeting the dwarfs it started burrowing and eating the walls for about 2 minutes and since it was stuck we couldn't damage his weak point until our driller C4 his ass I had it happen again with only the hive guard dreadnought

CORRUPTED SAVEFILE - The game asked me to delete a savefile since I had "two main saves". I deleted one of them and something happened.

I've played 600+ hours and somehow my savefile got corrupted. Last time I booted up the game it sent me to the tutorial. And now I still have my loudouts but the weapons are NOT UNLOCKED. The game thinks I'm a new player even tho I'm at level 294 and have 2 million credits.

I don't know if this is the worst or best thing that has ever happened to me in DRG. Suddenly credits and minerals have meaning again! Guess I can just buy all the weapons again. But still weird!

Hello, I was using OBS to process my microphone and using an audio plugin called vb audio virtual cable to make an audio output, to remove echo noise among other things that may appear, normally there has never been any problem, not even on discord or other games, but in drg when I changed from the standard output to the virtual cable it worked normally, but from the virtual to the real audio output the microphone never worked again within the game, even pressing the speech button the symbol does not appear and in settings apparently the game recognizes that there is a microphone, I don't know if there is a solution or an error on my part, I tried repairing the files, restarting and so on, I haven't tried uninstalling and installing yet

Game refuses to launch after christmas event ended

No matter what I do it's constantly stuck on "launching", it doesn't even open. I've tried every single troubleshooting tactic, I've updated every driver and installed every redist. package. It just doesn't open. It says it's "launching" but it doesn't actually open the game window (or even start the task in task manager). I tried opening the game exe directly through folders. It starts, but it doesn't let me get past the main menu because then it can't connect to steam all of a sudden. I've tried every single launch option too, DX 11, 12, safe mode, nothing works. I reinstalled the game and even nuked the folder completely multiple times, I verified the files multiple times. Nothing works. The worst part is that it worked just fine before january 5th. Maybe removing the christmas update broke something on my side?

The way pheromoned enemies work is that the attract other enemies to them.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, pheromoned enemies aren't guaranteed to attract nearby bugs. Chances are very high but it's not a 100%.
So I think it was just old plain lack of luck rather than a bug.

Hello, player since season 1. I have 700+ hours and I finished all seasons except for season 2. When I was done wiht it long ago I end up with lvl 20 on battle pass and 3 missing bonus scrip to collect.

I did multiple times prospector, data deposit, caretaker and router already and none of those let me progress and claim last 3 bonus scrip.

Think it's hard to find anything valuable in the logs, since an overflow isn't really an error in the process' point of view but just the operating system terminating the program while doing normal stuff. So no reason to log stuff before the crash.
But you could try and turning some mods on and off to see if you can isolate which ones it isn't at least. And mods that changes gameplay is more likely than just assets

also when the game start running there's a NVIDIA icon pop up on top right, so I think the game is running on correct GPU

same issue, here is logs. i tried to reinstall the game, restart the pc, uninstall all mods, dx11,dx12, i also unpacking the FSD file and find it in there, nothing work, plz help me!!!!

I am missing skins I unlocked for classes via seasons (levels or scrips) for weapons I unlocked after I unlocked those skins (specifically the gen3 weapons)

for example, I own copper patinate on gunner but despite this don't have it on his coilgun

the only different is path, the log is Game/xxx, the file is FSD/xxx, but the FSD is right.
