I have no clue what happened, I can share a screenshot of my end screen but my game completely glitched out or something. I was in the drop pod as I finished so it should've given me a successful mission but it told me I failed? I have no clue what happened or caused it to do that as I was not downed nor using iron will. It happened in a solo mission and as the launch pod was heading up I noticed it seemed to zip me from inside the launch pod to in between the two sets of doors on the launch pod. Not sure if that's what caused it or not. I was playing as gunner as well if that helps any.

So I'll go ahead and ask about it here, a friend of mine has been having issues here and there where, while playing DRG, their mouse would randomly disconnect (but only during DRG) maybe once per mission. We tried to play together last night though, and the issue got much much worse: their mouse kept disconnecting every few seconds, rendering the game nigh unplayable for them

Two dwarfs accidentally tried to connect two pipes at the same pump at the same time.
The pipe that was connected slightly sooner worked as usual.
The other one became bugged and impossible to undo, because the last section of that pipe had no holder piece.
In the screenshots the pipes were also completed but deconstruction was impossible before completion too.
That's how i failed my first deep dive ever.

I haven't noticed a pattern with it but so far I've noticed this bug on one mission control text, one supply pod label, and the lithophage meteor health bar and the monster manual as I'm typing this

a notable exception is eclipse trooper which is titled in english but its description is not

map generation problems are only reproducible with map seed information. easiest way to get that information is to capture the entire screen when you hit Esc (the "pause" screen, though not really unless you're solo)

then, ideally, you'd get a bug filed on pleasefix.gg explaining the problem, and that bug would attract other folks with other map seeds with the same problem, so you can get it confirmed

We had in a haz 5 Aquarc Mission a crassus - after blowing him up he seems to bring alone some really disgusting fps drops with his gold.

All the players had it in the match - for me it dropped from constant locked 164 (165hz Monitor) to 30 or sometimes 17

Others had drops to 5 fps.

I can’t play drg on windows anymore. every time I try to load up drg, it goes into slideshow mode and makes the game unplayable and I’ve tried to get it to work but I’ve been unsuccessful lately. Help

One thing to try, if you can manage to slideshow your way to the in-game options menu - check the audio output device under the Audio tab, and make sure it’s set to system default, or some other valid audio output.

Hi - I know it’s frustrating to hear, but we get this a lot in here - your PC likely has stability problems, and it just so happens that DRG is triggering that instability. Common things to check are drivers (which it sounds like you’ve done) followed by stress testing of your PC’s CPU, GPU, RAM, and power supply. Tools like OCCT can help as a pointer to get started.

Strange, the game I recall last time I was playing was running smooth as butter, and I was suffering some serious latency issues that was causing some system-wide OS stuttering.
Since clearing that up, and coming back to DRG, I notice that the game is stuttering a lot in really strange and specific spaces, such as running from the spawn room, to the bar, and back, there are some extremely consistent frametime spikes, which are very much notable and similar to the in-cave drops experienced.
I'm not sure if my GPU running at only 50% is the cause of the issue or not. Does the GPU peg 100% utilization in this game ever?

As for the FPS issues, as I said, it can come from so many different places that it's really hard to pin down. Outside of basic stuff, there's not much I'm able to help with tbh.

For reference I'm running a 2950x Threadripper, 2080Ti, 32GB of DDR4 3600 clocked at 3200 (CPU limitation on the OC) and have very recently run memtest to be sure that the RAM is not the issue.
It's a playable experience, but the lag I'm seeing is giving me motion sickness at this point, where I don't recall having such a frustrating experience in the previous season.

I've tried to clear it up with DLSS, but there doesn't seem to be a significant change.

The answer is no. Some people experience FPS issues while others do not (personally, I do not while my system is actually inferior to yours). There's no common grounds between those experiences either, especially considering each system - and how they might interact with the game - are unique.

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG is a generic error that means "your GPU stopped responding". Usually this is due to a driver or hardware issue. Anecdotally, many people have found that improving GPU cooling, reducing GPU overclocks, or even limiting GPU power / underclocking GPU can improve stability.

Ultimately, though, it's an OS/driver/hardware issue, not a bug in DRG.

I also checked game files with steam feature and even uninstalled and installed the game back. It's really weird to get crushes after playing for such a long time.

• first crash was different. I went to a mission and the game crushed in a minute. I was able to restart the game and spawn in the Spase Rig and then it crashed again.
  Since then it crushes in "press any button" screen or when loading the Rig without spawning me in

As per missions completed, for me it says 128 and for him it says 124

So I think I encountered some kind of bug in the elite deep dive? I can't post it in the bug report channel.

There was just way too many enemies spawning at once, combine that with the difficulty of the third stage it was just impossible for me to do anything except sit on a zipline and watch as an entire resupply pod and my spawning ammo could never take out all the bugs

Not sure if this was because I just didn't kill the bugs fast enough, but I ended up with the entire room just filled with them, constantly. As they spawned periodically. Even if I never wipes out the last swarm another would spawn, along with the regularly timed spawns.

I managed to kill over 800 bugs in that dive, about 90% of them came from that last mission which I ended up lossing because I just did not have the resources.

I've played elite deep dives solo before, and have completed multiple solo as well. I have never seen this many enemies in an elite deep dive mission ever. It felt like the spawn rates were for a four man team but it was just me alone with BOSCO, and BOSCO while helpful just can't keep up with 80+ bugs in a single room spread out all over the place, especially with the amount of guards and slashers that spawn in haz 5.5

i enabled an exclusion through my firewall to at first but now i also turned off real time protection and made the game ask what mode i wanted to launch in what mode i chose dx12

After looking around in the paintjob's file, I am inclined to think that presence of those splotches is a small oversight. Driller's Monochromatic paintjob file is missing a vector parameter value, namely 'DIFF || TintPrimary - Suit1'. This governs half of the undersuit's colors and without its presence, results in the blue splotches on Driller's undersuit.

Okay help a brother out. I last played DRG sometime back in August/September last year with no issue. I've now got a new mobo and more ram but the same GPU I had then. Whenever I get into the game now in anywhere from 1 minute to 5 my entire PC crashes. No crash reports or anything, and event viewer has a very helpful "the previous shutdown was unexpected" so that's not great. I've tried running DRG in dx 11 and 12, and tried in Vulkan(extended the time before crash by a couple minutes). I've run it with borderless window, full screen, windowed, regened the inis, made sure my GPU driver was up to date, and verified my game files. Not really sure where to go from here and any advice/help would be appreciated.

Ah have also removed all old mods(I think? I removed them from the .io but not sure if that removes them from my files...)

Can someone help with this? My DLC is borked it seems. I was on gamepass and had two dlc packs. I wanted to switch to steam version and did so. I used a program to switch my save over (from github) and noticed that the DLC was there in Steam as well. Thats PART 1

PART 2 - I wanted to be a good dwarf and so bought a bundle with several of them including the two I had on gamepass.

I bought this on steam I mean. I wanted thetwo same I had from gamepass and three or four more.

So now, whatever I do with the steam version, the weapon frameworks from the new dlc i bought don't show up. The two that originally showed up when I switched my save over from gamepass and the only ones there

It seems like all the cosmetics other than that are there. It sucks because I was most excited about the new weapons., Tried restarting, reinstalling, deleting saves, deleting gamepass version, cleaning my registry etc. I do get the notification that I have the new content by the weapons? Nah

My feeling is that all my saves from steam were deleted (cloud, etc) and i reinstalled that it would probably work. I suspect that transferring the save over is the issue. Here I sit, a sad dwarf

The I don't think you are missing anything, DLC weapon framworks are only for 'Rival Tech', 'Megacorp' and 'GSG Guardian'(supporter II)

You should have weapon paintjobs for all dlc though 🙂

I was doing a mission yesterday as a driller and was turning on the batteries for the omen modular exterminator, but had to get on the platform as one was over the edge and I got stuck inside of the tower.

Update: doing a clean driver install did in fact work for anyone else having this problem

Welp I can add to this starting in safe mode, updated any drivers as well as windows, disabled realtek drivers, ran with a clean save, installed on 3 different drives, installed dx9 library to see if that helps, and it all still crashes my computer after some time. Interestingly I did not crash during the tutorial mission of a fresh save but did once I went back into the rig after a bit.

I've played 300+ hours with the same gpu with a worse cpu and ram so not sure why it's having an issue now

Odd occurence, one of the lasers won't pop up yet the event started just fine. Idk if it's supposed to happen.

Also had another bug today where upon spawning in I saw a lithophage infected area that had already been cleansed but still had boils, I could interact with them but there is no healthbar and the ground was gray

That's crazy that a simple graphics setting such as "Nvidia Reflex" (whatever that is) can have such a drastic affect on actual gameplay

Lately everytime I play the game gets sorta laggy. My mouse movement gets choppy. It ceases to function for half a second every 3-4 seconds. It gets worse the longer the game runs. Sometimes the keyboard also does it.

Doesn't happen on other games.

So far I've:

Changed the batteries in my mouse and keyboard (lol)
Reinstalled the game
Made sure my gpu drivers are updated
Launched with dx11
Uninstalled every mod

I have 1000 hours in this game and I play almost everyday and it's a recent thing (happened the last 4 times I played)

my pc has a
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz
i've put the game on low and limited my FPS to 80 but it keep pumping heat

my pc is powerful and i don't suffer performance issues
heat only appears while playing drg and no other games

i fear the game will simply burn my pc to the ground

if you wanna keep your guarantee, go to a repair shop (won't cost you a lot)

it's because it's CPU heavy

and that's where the thermal paste is

so when the paste needs to be replaced, the temp will start rising up

you're still far from the dangerous area, which is a bit over 90°C

I updated the gpu driver to the latest edition, (then unrelatedly installed a new ssd) and later launched the game. I got a crash right as the game was booting up, but I havent seen another since.

So I relaunched the game and it was suffering from lag. managed to do a mission but it sucked bad. I reverified the fame files, and there was nothing wrong. I switched to DX11 and the lag persisted. I checked task manager, and gpu usage looked fine, it was 50-60% which is how it normally is. also made sure I wasnt using the iGPU and it doesnt seem to be. I'm at a loss, idk whats up

I think I might have a faulty gpu? its not possible that the new ssd is using channels from the gpu tho, is it?
