You do sometimes get godlike expenite upgrades that save the whole run, but more commonly it's workbench upgrades in my experience

mostly general, some are more tied to the weapon

I think it's heavily subject to change right now, you can always expect guns to get stuff like magazine upgrades, weakpoint bonus or an elemental damage type added on, but sometimes they do have more individually unique ones

Last beta test they added class ability upgrades to the workbench

Would be interesting to see how something like the boltshark would be handled in this game

on average, yeah they are

it's usually around 30min to 1h (for the longest runs, with a team struggling)

extended more or less with player skills
