Of course it’s great to get feedback from people who know DRG really well, but it’s equally important to hear how the game is for people who are relatively inexperienced, or perhaps new to the franchise altogether. We’ve got to make sure the game is fun and interesting for greenbeards and graybeards alike.

linear, as there are strict endings, as in a mission complete, when in rogue core, you can just keep going, like an infinite deep dive, where you can keep continuing and not have a finite stopping point, and where you can keep getting stronger, instead of only having x amount of upgrades you spawn in with. thats why roguelikes are my favorite genere, when i was first introduced to DRG all my friends said that it was like a roguLITE, which i guess it is, to sum degree, but any game with metaprogression isnt a rogulite per say, as a rogulike and rogulite are different

It’s an undisclosed amount of time, though - I wouldn’t expect GSG to hold a strict schedule, especially not publicly until they figure out what the workflow is with this type of endeavour (i.e., closed testing with selected random people)

It's not wrong if the default option for female dwarves is beardless. That's what most people like. If you want a beard on the dwarfette you just pick it yourself while ingame. That might end up being the case.

Oh man, Rogue Core is waaaaay more hardcore than base DRG. Just played some with a friend. Only reason we completed facility one was I got lucky and got the shield generator as equipment
