They way their forearms and hind limbs look like a creatures which still retains some of its more primitive origins which have yet to adapt as much as the rest of the animal, additionally we’ve seen a 4 legged forme that walks upright, a sort of centaur, I’d like to believe that these are the remains of the first mining expeditions back before DRg monopolized everything or some similar scenario given we see mining bases built on world

Yeah, especially because it will feel significantly more "finished" than DRG was at this stage, because there's a lot here that is fully complete and just ported from DRG

I've already seen a couple comments complaining that the game isn't fully released yet because it looks done

And it's not just looking finished because of DRG assets: in the latest trailer there are a ton of assets made just for Rogue Core that are very much finished

driller and gunner don't have beards by default due to the fact that gunner is operating guns with lots of moving parts that you don't want a long beard tangled in, and driller either burned his off fiddling with his flamethrower, or he shaved it for the similar reason for dealing with his drills
