Question for developers. As a more competitive enjoyer of drg will there be difficult difficulties for skilled players? In normal drg there comes a point where only modded difficulties provide challenges for the 1%. Is that a concern for the team or something that's on the radar? Will there be different difficulties for a full experienced team with mics, upgrades, who enjoy "meta" to still enjoy a challenge? Also will this come to Xbox and or have cross play at some point?

Rogue Core is intended to be significantly more difficult than DRG, at least when starting out (meta upgrades will likely smooth things up later down the line)

so hard to say for now how it's gonna be difficulty wise in regard to the community

We are developing the game with players from a lot of skill levels in mind, though focused on an experience that is suited more towards players that like a challenge (in comparison to drg). I have a hard time imagining we don't give players that are playing on the modded difficulties in drg something to chew on in Rogue Core, though it's too early in development to know for sure

They'll likely split time schedule, going for one and then the other, at least until they grow the team to a bigger size that let them take on both at once. It's gonna take some time though.

I don't think the concept of preordering is bad at all, the product just needs to be in line with what people are expecting at a reasonable price for what people are getting. If you're preordering a game that's promised to be complete then it needs to actually be complete at release. If the game is a work in progress, then make it clear that's what people are buying in to and don't price it like a complete game

Preordering lets people show interest with their wallets, and play right at the time of launch which is important to some people (downloading before release is kind of nice if you're into that). It's not inherently a bad practice, it's just been misused by too many companies.

if you don't have the QNOGARKea HEAkEl, crspr breathing allows for a aoe fire tick so that's pretty swell
