I believe that is the process, but I have not been apart of it so I cannot 100% confirm.

If you want, you can try reaching out to a Community Manager to see if they can help. Normally they will ask you to do what I said to do, but they might have some kind of trick. If you are using the APP, you might want to try logging out of the app on PC and phone and logging back in too. some people are having luck with that when linking with AOC accounts.
