okay so im a little confused on something and had a few different answers with that artisan skills can i only max 2 of the same artisan skill or can i make 1 crafting and 1 gathering for example or do the ones i max both need to be crafting

Up till a couple months ago the plan was you could only max artisan classes within the same branch (gathering/processing/crafting), but now they've changed it so you can max different branches. So you can have a grandmaster artisan gathering and crafting for example if you wish

First question: Does being flagged for PvP affect the loot table of the bosses?

Second follow up question: if flagging does effect that table roll… in a raid, if we were to have only the loot master opted-in for PvP and everyone else non-flagged, would that roll have better odds or is it based off who made the killing blow or something like that?

I quite like the feel of WoW's demonology warlock, where your demons fo the work, but you're actively engaged, constantly summoning, milling out effects onto enemies, or buffing your summons with specific rotations of moves. I hope we get something similar, where you're constantly active and doing stuff, even if it is just commanding summons, buffing them, and activating their abilities.

The thing the worries me about this, what if Disconnections happen? What if internet goes out for a bit... It should be a group type of thing where it's connected to either 3-5 people which are the "Leaders" of the group. But then what happens if it's a server issue and everyone is logged out... is there a time limit set for these summons to stay up like an hour after the summer(s) log out or so. Many things need to be considered for this situation.

after seeing the ranger combat i think i might look into getting the alpha 2, considering it'll prob be up for a year or so but my question is do we know if there'll be servers for OCE testers or will we need to join NA or wherever they end up at. Being in Aus there ain't much option for MMOs so i'm hopeful this is decent but i just can't imagine 'playing' in a non aus server as the lag delays are really frustrating.

You would just resummon them? It's not like they're gonna give the classes main feature a massive cooldown that wpuld prevent you from just, bringing them back when you re-log on.

The summons are tied to the summoner. If they disconnect, the party no longer has summons, because the summoner is gone and there is no one to command them or use their abilities. The only time any summon would be tied to a group is the siege summon, and that winds up tied to the specific player controlling it.

I suppose for the siege summon they could make it swap to someone else if the controller disconnects, but in the case of a server issue that disconnects the whope party, you would've had to start over anyway, so it doesn't matter if it persists, since you're gonna have to redo what you just did anyway.

Confirming that from OCE side, when I played on A1, I didn't experience issues surprisingly.

I was able to kill off mobs, and explore. Never experienced any rubber-banding, nor any stutters.

I'll toss my coin into the hat on this one.

I believe it would be a fantastic addition to have the option to choose from any of the cosmetics offered in the $375 package. When we claim it, by providing us the freedom to select our preferred cosmetics, adds immense value. Personally, I invested $375 to not only to support the game but also to enjoy the adventures to be had with the cosmetics that resonate most with my personal taste. Unfortunately, as @wispy ruin pointed out, some of us joined the $375 tier later than others. Perhaps due to discovering the game belatedly or not keeping track of package changes.

I get that there are different factors to consider, but perhaps it's worth revisiting past discussions to enhance the value for everyone who contributed $375 to the pool. Regardless, the reason behind this idea is simple—whether someone grabbed the pack early and scored a fantastic cosmetic or someone who just discovered Ashes is joining the journey, by giving us the choice, it would enhance our satisfaction with such a substantial one-time investment. Just my two cents. Cheers!

Last information given is that each race has its own starting zone adjacent to the portals. Anyone can start at any of the portals, including the Tulnar, who have "attached camps" near each portal. For example, the dwarven portal will have dunir and nikua separate starting areas near it.

Once you have one of the cheaper packs, you can go into the shop and buy one of the higher tier packs. It will still show the full price, but once you go to checkout it should reduce the price. E.g. if you go to buy the $250 pack and you already have the $75 pack, it should show as $175 at checkout

I know full well what I'm getting into and that it's not the actual game but rather testing various parts of the final product. I had bought early access to Baldur's Gate 3 when it first came out despite knowing it wasn't gonna have everything and was gonna mainly be testing and fixes cause I wanted to help out with the development of and to support something I looked forward to in any way I could, both financially and by putting it through the wringer and reporting any bugs or issues I found.

There are "solo player" caravan called Personal Caravans.
But even this kind does have wagon since it is a caravan.

But if you want to do something more similar to Archeage or at least the very begining of archeage where players were doing stuff with mules then there is also this option.
They do transport cargo but in a smaller scale than caravan.

So the "correct" way of thinking would be the mule for solo player instead of the Personal Caravan.

Yes, there is a guild name reservation system planned. It was a reward from KS, and has been mentioned that there will be a way for you to reserve slots on a "live release" server for your guild.

If you upgrade your Pre-Order pack, you get everything that's the DIFFERENCE between the Pre-Order pack(s) you have, and what you upgrade to.

For example, if you didn't have access to Alpha Two, and you upgrade to a pack that has Alpha Two, you'll get access to Alpha Two. As for cosmetics, you only get the cosmetic item TYPES that you didn't previously have. If you upgrade, it will not give you the cosmetic items of the same type (Accessory, Pet, Mount, etc.) that came with the previous pack you purchased. Only the additional cosmetic items from the upgrade to The Unseen Order Pre-Order Pack will be granted.

Pre-Order packs are scheduled to end at <t:1705518000:F>. After they end, people who have Pre-Order packs will still be able to upgrade to higher-tier packages or purchase add-on cosmetics from The Unseen Order pack. This won't be available forever, but we don't currently have a date to share for when we'll end the ability to upgrade packs.

The footage from a couple months ago shows a channeling type of activity that you have to start and finish and you get the resources. There’s no “last chop” mechanic

So if you start the channel first and aren’t interrupted, you’ll get the resources

Incorrect. Whoever finishes first gets the resources. The whole point of people being able to chop faster than you due to upgrades and others.

Its been 4 years since Intrepid parted ways with my.com and announced EU players would get their account migrated, that they would be able to purchase already 'expired' cosmetics after migration etc. I asked about the status of migration around a year ago and there was still no update back then, my question on forum got parried and closed giving me no chance for further questions (rly?). At this point I am kinda at peace with the thought that Intrepid doesn't give a shit and I got scammed for couple hundred backs, but I thought it's worth asking last time and tbh I would just like to get a definitive answer, even explicit 'fuck off' would be nice.

Other games like Riot MMO wont have ppl asking this question as much because we forget about it for long periods of time as development isn’t public

Think about Starfield too. It had seven years of development from a highly renown, large company, AND single-player RPGs are generally a lot easier to create than MMORPGs. And Bethesda has 450 employees.

Alpha 2 will be persistent until launch starting before September 30th of this year. Betas will be very short test phases that run in tandem with Alpha 2. So aside from downtime, the game will be playable continuously until it launches.

Additionally, you can purchase the cheapest pack now and wait to upgrade. Upgrades will still be available beyond today. They may be removed eventually, but we’ll likely have 2+ months of notice given for when they plan to remove the ability to upgrade your pack.
