Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
i know qui replaces the subject and que replaces the object but then why is dont used in places where i would usually use qui or que
dont replaces an object introduced by "de".
It's also the case of a noun complement:
merci
do note that « dont » is a special case of the indirect object structure of preposition + lequel
ok
If it helps, you can think of 'dont' as translating to 'of which/of whom'.
Bertie I genuinely think that you should compile a list of your explanations
