falcons qb room is tua and penix
this feels like a fever dream
they got him for 1.3 mil but he's gonna make 54 mil thanks to the dead cap from the dolphins
i mean that is just poetry
am i crazy, why did the falcons draft penix if they're just gonna keep putting others infront of him?
is tua gonna start??
why is so much crazy shit happening today in nfl
Kyle Allen got traded to Buffalo
Cause its the first day of free agency being open, always gonna be a lot of movement
oooh
We love to see it
The Niners have a wide receiver for once (please stay healthy please stay healthy please stay healthy please stay healthy)
Bears signed Kalif Raymond
Lions signed isiah pacheco
sonic and... tails? shadow? big the cat?
NO MY KING
(he was fine, he had a few electric punt returns)
in fairness this is exactly why we spent so much to get teslaa so
Geno smith to the jets
Where QBs go to die
where it all began for him so maybe this is what he needed
he said, giggling to himself the whole time
If you weren’t w the jets when they were buns, don’t switch up when they might just go a staggering 4-13 this season
As opposed to their normal 3-14
I genuinely nearly supported the jets
I didn’t have a team to support so it was either gonna be jets cuz I had a jets hat or broncos cuz of South Park, but I ended up with the Seahawks for a completely different reason ✌🏼
RAVENS JUST BACKED OUT OF THE CROSBY TRADE
WTF
He failed his physical
Yo WHAT
My QB Tier List going into next season
holy shit so the ravens back out of the crosby deal dispite knowing the iffy long-term outlook of his knee, then turn around and land hendrickson in the span of 24 hours??
crosby would be 30 mill, 2 firsts, and injured
hendrickson is 28 mil, NO draft picks, and healthy
baltimore is paper thin dude holyyy
actually dont quote me on hendrickson's health but still
They got a better deal for a guy on About the same level
I’d argue Allen is S tier
He's borderline S-tier
Still don't know why he traded our best RB
Sure Gibbs has a higher ceiling
But Monty has a higher flooring and he's more consistent
dawg
gibbs clears
i love monty but he's RB2 on the lions, and RB1 on like a handful of teams, like the texans without mixon
there were games where gibbs was our entire offense
New Titans logo
missed the news that we lost AQM to the buccs which sucks major, i liked him a lot
hutch gotta feel so much pressure now
justin fields to KC, this is the one I can feel it
I was up until last year
But he can start a game or two and hopefully with a better team he can string together a win or two
Me too gnh
"Jordan Love is the best QB in the north"
7th seed chiefs team winning it all is crazy
My super early reaction to this super early playoff seed is aint no way the Broncos lose in the wildcard
Saints ain't making it lol
I love em but they if even have a winning season they should hang the banner
Panthers have it in the NFC south me thinks
They've had a pretty good off-season so here's hoping
The panthers are a team that it’s really hard to hate yk
Maybe in a couple years they’ll be actually good good
And THEN we can hate them
I still have this weird belief packers will have an amazing season
this was the moment i knew i would like royce
puka nacua bit someone???
the timing of this right after the JSN contract is painfully ironic
hearing is set for the 14th
Court,??
hey the more depth we have, im cool with it
means our offense is more likely to be good again
the defense.... oh boy
we're the bengals of the nfc
They're both big cats
He also allegedly made anti semetic comments
49ers fan here, he’s alright
like where would he go on a tier list
I will slime you out
Like somewhere right around B tier, he’s a mid-low end starter/high end backup
browns no longer signing AJ Epenesa after concerns with his physical, that's 2, count em 2
Penei Sewell -> Left Tackle
this guy is so versatile it's crazy
Lions signed safety Chuck Clark
What a name
Jaguars are moving to Orlando
They're spending one season (2027) in Orlando while their home stadium goes under renovation and is expected to be ready for the 2028 season
They are not "moving" to Orlando
Ohhh thank you
Kirk Cousins is signing with the Raiders
another fully guaranteed contract for the generational bag getter
so probably gonna see him week 1 instead of mendoza
likely
Gotchu
if the vikings and bills played each other in the super bowl
it would either end in a draw
or the stadium would just explode
The Seahawks account said happy Easter yall can celebrate now
damn

@alpine canyon
buf seems a bit high, same with gb, ten could win more
honestly these feel free darn close
which makes sense since the whole left half is at max 2 games apart lol
but i guess it is a bet line so eh
i for one will not be trusting the gamblers
Chiefs also seem a bit high
isn't mahomes still hurt
do you trust Dan Campbell
he's currently questionable which could mean anything but so is fields, and they traded that one really good CB so they could have a harder path, but man i find it hard to say anything about them when mahones can just do whatever the hell he wants lol
i still do, i'd still trust anyone who turned the lions around like he and brad did. that said, this is a big year for him, if it's the same as last year or an even BIGGER step back, his seat's gonna be pretty dang hot
it's year 6 (?) and yes he did get the lions to the playoffs and win the first playoff game in 30 years, but the 2 years after that have been a let down. that feels insane to say but it's true
but it's WAY easier to get a worse coach, so for now im camp MCDC
it's also way easier to get worse at QB cough cough goff haters cough cough
(but also there is plenty to critique about goff)
Love Campbell, but he can't do offensive coaching
so part of me is glad we got Drew Petzing
just hoping its not another Morton situation, where he gets fired after a few weeks, and then we're stuck with Dan Campbell calling offensive plays
brother what
we started winning when dan took over
i also agree im hopeful for petzing but MCDC isn't an idiot on offense
morton also wasn't fired until after the season, he got benched and dan took over and then we beat the pants off the commanders
granted it was a bad commanders team but still
and ill put "winning" in huge quotations lol but we looked way more like ourselves
i just think he was taking too many risks
i might just be wrong
that is a possibility lol
nah you def right about that, plenty of examples at this point where he should've just taken the points
BUT he rebuilt the culture around it, so it's a difficult balance
but at this point it would've meant we went to a super bowl and with years of hindsight it's really clear
he benifits from a mad genius OC but like... so does 90% of the league lol
people just see him as a very passionate and energetic guy so they think he's an idiot
true lol
but in reality he's great at the game and knows SO much about his team
for sure
many people are saying
holyyyyyy
texans defense gonna be scary again next year
and the offense... will also be on the field
AJ Brown (Eagles WR) is likely to be traded to the Patriots
forgot to mention how dexter lawrence is off to the bengals
thought you said trevor lawrence for a sec
Changes to consider:
Washington goes up
Seattle goes up
Denver goes down
New England goes down
i like it alot, i think im slightly higher on the raiders after their FA, not as low on the browns, I think the titans could take over the colts but not go any further, and i love how shit the nfc south is lol
thanks
i think giants and and dal switch, there just is nothing on that giants team that makes me excited
well very little, maybe not "nothing"
they looked promising until skattebo got hurt
oh to be in the AFC east and play the jets and dolphins twice, must be frickin nice
tru and neighbors got injured real early iirc
im just farely confident NFCS and AFCN do shit
AFCN not having a competitor feels so... bonkers
but time comes for us all i guess
i think the lions do much better this year but i could see a second place finish and a sneak into the wildcard
NFCN is tough as nails
some dumbass said there is 63 more wins than losses here
i added it all up, there is 272 of each 😂
i won lol
i could also see the lions losing to the bears once (11-6)
@alpine canyon do you think Titans are fine at 7-10? or could they go up or down a game
Definitely possible
I like these predictions
I’m not that confident we are gonna win nfc west rams looks insane
Yeah seems more accurate for a broncos div win and rams one seed
Honestly I love the new ravens jerseys
broncos over kc, texans over chargers (lol chragers in the playoffs, my favorite thing), jags over bengals, eagles over giants, lions over 49ers, hawks over saints
im lower on the saints than i think most people tbh, this feels like their last year of cap hell and then they can do something nutty come 2027
i have both bengals and saints winning division at 8-9
not too crazy with how crappy their divisionss are
I honestly have Carolina at 10-7
I think they’re getting better on defense
That could be all they need to win 2 more games
except when they trade insider secrets and try to influence the eagles and AJ Brown
and also dont cheat on your wife for 6 years
and also dont have a child and name him after the man you're having an affair with
TY Simpson to rams
Oh yeah, cheating is bad no doubt
Baltimore should draft a coach
lions draft a dentist for MCDC
Are you watching the draft, or just notifications?
I'm watching it with my Dad right now
yup im watching
Lions need defense
damn
how the flying hell do they have these jerseys ready already
one person with a sewing machine off stage going so fast the machine is smoking
Lions coming up
dammit the pick was spoiled for me
No spoilers
i haven't the foggiest idea how to feel about this one
good for penei
and clemson has pretty orange colors so this HAS to work out
he played about 8 million snaps in college which is fucking bonkers, i see the vision
Only watching up to Lions, but yeah, feel solid about this guy
Would've preferred a defensive guy, he the dude we drafted looks good
My Dad says Gibbs is probably gonna get 2,000 yards
my fear is im seeing a lot of "this was a dan campbell pick helllll yeah brother" when for the freeling pick eveyrone went "that's a good player great pick panthers"
i love MCDC but damn dude I just want a straight up good player lol
miller looks good dont get me wrong, could slot in right away
true
@alpine canyon Lions trade pick number 50 and 128 to Jets for number 44
bit high on the 49ers imho
texans at 7 is insane lol
As an actual 49ers fan
we are not that good
we are going to be a 10-7 team, sneak a 6th seed wild card and lose in the divisional
Accounting for injuries we’re a solid 8-9 or 7-10
@alpine canyon now that the draft has ended, what will you say the lions record is?
we've made some good steps forward, i think even with some of the losses we are generally looking stronger than we did at this point last year which is great. add on a 4th place schedule and sprinkle some injury luck and i really do think we make a run and have some much better vibes. I could see 11 or even 12 wins as the ceiling, 9 as the floor and actually MAKE the post season this time
@alpine canyon schedule next week
hype, matchups look real favorable
ssohuld be dope

@alpine canyon we're playing patriots in germany
st brown wanted a free trip home
lol
@alpine canyon we play vs saints week 1
saints don't look like a terrible team, but we should win
oh for sure they'll be better than last year no doubt, but i have a good degree of confidence we'll take that one
hey they get to use that timeout they saved!
tru
week 4 sunday night headed to carolina, that will be fun
MNF week 16 giants come to detroit, what the hell man the NFL is giving the giants every primetime game
we have like 4 already
realisitcally, everyone in the north could go 3-3 in the division
nah we should beat the breaks off the Vikings
then again i said that last year...
but i think their defense takes a step back and that was their crutch
just based off speculation, this is my ranking for nfc probably
- Rams
- Eagles
- Lions
- Seahawks
- 49ers
- Bears
- Giants
- Packers
- Saints
- Vikings
- Cowboys
- Panthers
- Buccaneers
- Commanders
- Falcons
- Cardinals
its subject to change though as the order of schedule gets released
also nfc is a lot tougher than afc
cause i think commanders and above can be competitive
whereas in the afc there are only a few real competitive teams
for AFC
- Texans
- Broncos
- Chargers
- Bills
- Patriots
- Jaguars
- Chiefs
- Ravens
- Colts
- Bengals
- Steelers
- Titans
- Raiders
- Jets
- Browns
- Dolphins
dolphins
if their offseason is any indication
they had a damn fire sale lol
cards at least kinda maybe want to win?
Cards > jets?
that's actually tough
Cards > Browns?
cause the jets used to at least have a good defence and then they go ahead and get ZERO ints last year
browns i think will be better
slightly
Browns > Jets?
i literally cannot think of their name
It tried to autocorrect geno to genocide
Lmao
oh NO that qb room is bad
yeah browns better than jets
they have pro bowl quarter back extraordinaire Shedeur Sanders
holy another prime time game, week 15 SNF in Minn
god i love a 4th place schedule
atlanta could regress a bunch this year
vs jets week 3
nice little bounce back no matter what happens week 2
Dammit
:(
before bye week, i say we go 4-1 at the worst
first game is super bowl rematch 🔥
you can do predictions now if ya want
bucs vs bengals would be unironically good
colts vs chiefs week 2 will also be good
cause mahomes still hurt
@alpine canyon honestly, lions could start 8-0
@alpine canyon
Aaron Rodgers: The Last Dance
Happy birthday Josh Allen 🥹
Happy birthday JA, hey at least you got one ring
Jack Campbell extended with the lions until 2030, I am in heaven
A rare moment when I agree with calling him a "MCDC" player. Not only is that true, he's also an A+ player, a huge win for the defense over the next 4 years
one of the best linebackers in the league
100% sucks
it's also no secret of most professional sports that a LOT of wealthy trumpies are playing them/own the teams
or have families with deep ties to republican orgs
we shall see lol
the other thing I think is interesting are the players that still act like it's pre-2016 cough cough st brown cough cough
I say that mainly because Tyler Shough endorsed Andy Beshear
Yep :/
OH WHEN THE SAINTS, WIN THE SUPER BOWL
the nfc south, horrible division im told, horrible.... the saints dead cap, and it's dead people let me tell you... they cant afford it, i could.... should I buy the saints people?
Lmao
Yeah pretty much
Noah Knigga is predicted to be one of the best linemen going into next college football season, I point this out because he goes to my school
He’s super famous on social media cuz of the name
You don’t pronounce it like that do you?
its pronounced kuh-nay-guh
Oh alr, hopefully he does well
Another reason why the chiefs are bums
Myles Garrett low key might kill Jaxson Dart on December 20th
my personal top 10 qbs going into next season
@alpine canyon Do you agree?
I think you're a little hot on NFCN qbs, I think Dak is significantly better than people give him credit for
OBJ is comin back
NYG stocks are up! buy buy buy!
russell wilson is becoming a cbs sports analyst
WHAT THE FUCK
myles garrett to the rams
@grim crater
is this real life?
rams gonna win the super bowl
dammit why did he have to go to the nfc
OH HELL NAH
it's a great day to not be in the nfc west lol
Sean McVay has something against people called Jared
lol "man i handled that goff trade poorly.... anyway see ya v8 enjoy hell"
what if this also means the browns become amazing
Browns might go winless again
they wont win 4 games
the defense is all they had
wtf do you do now
that's like 4 teams in full tank mode
Myles Garrett is probably top 10 best players rn, maybe top 5
Rams could go 12-5 at the worst
they were one game away from a SB last year, a stop here or there and they would've done it again
this just fucked everrrrrything lol
I don't want to sit in the cuck chair again!
At least Baltimore doesn't have Crosby
Only teams I see Rams losing to this year are: 49ers, Broncos, Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, and Seahawks
So I guess their flooring is 10-7
i honestly only see 3 tricky ones there
oo wait they open with a healthy 49ers, that could be tricky
Garrett to the rams?
Honestly I don’t think we can beat the rams, at home we might scrape a win but they’re too good imo
I agree with the players here but personally I’d swap a few players around
Giants are signing former Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster
In other news
Wow fun day today
not my comment but i saw someone say that mcvay felt so embarrassed with that ty simpson pick he went back to "fuck them picks" mode
full package is jared verse, 1st round, a 2028 2nd round, and a 2029 3rd round
that feels sooooooo rams-friendly
the MVP and DPOY are on the same team
insane
AJ Brown to patriots
a family was ripped apart for this trade
Fuck my fuckass life dude
Niners never winning the division again
My Predictions for the Dolphins, Steelers, and Broncos
Dolphins are not going 7-10
only way steelers have a winning record is if tomlin is still there
also broncos lose to rams now that they got myles garret
@alpine canyon who is getting number one pick this year?
i think either dolphins, cards or browns
jets?
Probably Cards
