The reason why you've never seen a Minecraft Animation featuring The Aether or any other modded dimension is because you cannot by default export modded dimensions or non-vanilla dimensions for use in 3D animation.
Last night, I worked on a basis for this method so people can make animations with modded dimensions.
It's baggage I've held for like 9 years as I was healing.
BUT It is crazy. As far as I'm aware, I'm the only person in the world who cared enough to figure this kinda thing out so far. And I wanna give that to other people.

It's not for in-game use. The method is for 3D Animators to use in their respective software. Blender, Cinema 4D, Mineimator, you name it.
But in order to do that, you gotta make the region into a .obj. That's what this method is for.
BUT if I'm going to do this at all, I am going to do it right. That's what I've been beating myself up over the past 24 hours. AND it's a fair point.
