Long time terraria player here. Does anyone know how one can mass generate or move lava? There is the bucket trick but that requires a lot of constant clicking which is not ideal.
According to reddit you can move lava with pumps, but this is not correct, I just tried it. It is even impossible to place a pump in lava in the first place.

if you can somehow block off the lava, put the pump in a spot underneath the lava, and then flood the pump with lava it should work
