Because of a weird quirk with the game, any damage buffer that boosts a specific ammo type will boost it multiplicatively. For instance you'll get more damage out of the +10% bow damage provided by the Magic Quiver than if you say, got a +10% general damage from destroyer emblem

This also applies to the shroomite helmets afaik
