stardust dragon has higher dps agsint slowish single target enemies like the moon lord when whip stacking the firecracker, durenal and dark harvest however the terraprisma is better against multi target or fast moving enemies when whip stacking the kaleidoscope, durendal and dark harvest, however some people prefer using the terrparisma bcs its safer to use since the kalediscope has longer range than the firecracker

Can dungeon guardians spawn when you're behind any naturally placed wall or does it HAVE to be a dungeon wall?

i would suggest going melee then, for 3 reasons:

1. It's most forgiving due to highest armour
2. Less aiming required
3. You won't struggle early pre-hm because melee weapons are really easy to find
