Does anyone have any insight into how Terraria handles crashes? Particularly with the world/player files -- assuming neither was corrupted, would all changes in that session be lost or does Terraria auto-save in the background while the client is open?

Thanks, I did some limited testing on my end, and it seemed like the player file and world file were updated in one case, while only the player file was updated in another case. I'm simulating a few more crashes after letting it run longer to see if I can catch the files updating

It would make sense that the game tries to do some sort of world and player save on crashing, since crashing can sometimes result in corrupted files (at least, it seems that happened to me once)
