Make long rows of Jungle grass, 3-block tunnels with 1 block of jungle grass, and keep them clear of vegetation. Have a pre-build arena nearby so that you can run to it quickly.

#

It'll grow bulbs relatively quickly if the area is large enough and kept clear. Life Fruit too, though to what end you need that much Life Fruit, I'm sure I don't know.

If you are starting it is likely you are playing on classic mode, on that difficulty the margin for error is very large allowing you to learn and improve in your own way.

there is not just one way to the top in Terraria. But if you really want general tips that make the game easier, remember to make many houses in many biomes for npcs. And if a situation or biome seems too tough, get some better gear and come back another day

He will point you in the direction of the next boss or new weapon options. sometimes random npcs tell you rumours as well such as the Merchant and his overwhelming fear of floating giant eyes
