Console and mobile haven't received any of the 1.4.5.x hotfixes yet, they are probably going to wait until they are done with hotfixes on pc then push them all to mobile and console at once.

Consoles and mobile might also have slower approving process by the console manufacturer, which delayes them or makes it preferable to do it this way, that is, PC first and once a lot is collected release them. Because by the time they are approved, that time would have passed anyway.

You can use a utility like runasdate to start the game, if you dont want to fiddle with your computer date for real. Although afaik that means you can only have one of the events at a time on since the events dont overlap any time normally.

Okay so the version on the xbox app on pc is the console version. all my characters and worlds from xbox appeared on pc. The multiplayer lets me host and invite my alt account. It seems to let me join its just I don't have gamepass on my alt so it wouldnt let me join

It's definitely borked, but I'd also hate to see it nerfed. Really, I've been spoiled by them and don't know what to do about them. I fear if they nerf it, they'll go too far in the opposite direction, like with Black Spot (though that still has its uses), and even Pillion became a lot less fun to use post-nerf.

I usually dont run dedicated server from the game directory, but place the files elsewhere. Meaning i download https://terraria.org/api/download/pc-dedicated-server/terraria-server-1453.zip and extract them to somewhere and copy the files from Windows version directory there even though they come with the game... i just prefer not to have them in the same directory as my regular game.
