Somewhat technical question but does anyone know if terraria will eventually natively support fps above 60?

But for vanilla since it gets a bit stuttery on a 165 hz monitor

The game's tick rate is tied to the frame rate. Having to rewrite everything to support a different tick rate is a massive amount of effort for very little payoff, so it's not going to be a vanilla thing.
Turning down your monitor to 120hz while playing will make it feel a lot smoother.

the wiki says most of them are only immune to confusion, some immune to shimmer, and two being immune to poison and fire. So maybe in hardmode I could stack negative effects that they arent immune to like shadowflame and hellfire? unless they are indeed immune to those and the wiki peeps didn't know

Not really. The Cascade yoyo and Gray Zapinator are replaced by the Hel-Fire and Orange Zapinator from their respective sources, but other than that, I don't know of any items that can be gotten pre-Hardmode but not in Hardmode.

Early-game and early Hardmode.

I find it's mostly smooth sailing otherwise, but your milage may vary. Defensive builds are surprisingly effective, especially against most boss projectile attacks, but Hardmode enemies will still hit like a truck and eat hits for days.

When i try to launch the game on Steam, it refuses to open. I tried reinstalling but its stay the same. but launching via Tmodloader has no problem for starting and plays normal

if you install it via GitHub you'll still need to transfer over your vanilla files

both tmod versions require vanilla to be open to run, so by proxy you're still getting hours on vanilla

great. after setting the exe file's properties in file explorer to administrator mode and then running it from Steam, it now runs properly. I had the same issue with the game "Five Nights at Freddy's" purchased from Steam, and it was resolved in the same way

If you wanna improve your builds a bit there are a few things you want to keep in mind:
Purpose! When making a room think about who would be using it and why, and add things on that theme that makes sense.
Variation! Don't use the same material for everything, mix it up a bit to give some texture to your build.
Shapes! Don't just copypaste the same basic box repeatedly, experiment with shapes and sizes.
Colour! Use paint, paintings and decorations to bring some life to your builds.

youre still around the skeletron stage? I wouldnt recommend expert until you finish the game on classic

the only difference is just in the early game imo
once you get good armor setup they don't deal that much damage

playing on expert gives u extra accessory slot post wof
and master gives u more slot from the start of the game

Expert adds new enemy patterns, increases their stats and increases boss difficulty.

Lootpools also change a bit.

If youve beat classic you'll be fine in expert

Just expect to be dodging more

I am currently beating classic and pre hard mode i thought this game was easy skip to hard mode i cant beat any boss
