try searching for loot in caverns and crafting things with enemies drops

for example, try gearing up with feral claw, found at underground rich mangory trees and sanctuarys at the jungle (underground); craft swords life the blade of grass and blood butcherer (this one needs the eye to be defeated)

underground houses can provide you various loot such as the hermes boots that makes you run fast, a magic mirror that can bring you home unlimited times for when you finish spelunking, aband of regeneration that gives you slight health regen etc.

also mine for a lot of ores. these will be essential for making weapons and accessories. you can find more the deeper you go. aim also for gems. theyre important to make a hook so you can travel way faster.

thats all i know for this state of the game!! (a lot of essential [maybe] information is missing, but i hope you can craft full platinum armor)

anyone know how to deal with coruption ? im pre-hard mode , and i heard i should beal with it before hard , but idk how

you don't really need to do anything about it in pre-HM, and once you go into HM more corruption will spawn (along with the new hallow biome in a V shape)

now, if you really want to isolate your evil biome you can dig tunnels around it like this

a hellevator 3 tiles wide is fine as long as you line the side towards the evil biome with rope so you don't get any thorns growing

do note that isolation tunnels like this will not stop anything when the new evil spawn when you enter hardmode (it can even hit your sky islands)

after you've defeated one of the mech bosses the new steampunker npc will show up, and she sells a tool that can help you clean up corruption (so a lot of players don't bother dealing with evil biome spread until this point in the game)

i recommend using a good set of wings or the bundle of balloons

paired with a pogo stick

and to use lightning boots+ or amphibian boots

melee should absolutely use the fire gauntlet and ranger should utilize the ranger emblem

you could also use more dmg accessories like the mechanical glove and avenger emblem

shield of cthulhu is highly recommended
