Alright I need help, I’m trying to do summoner only master mode, I’m in early hardmode and have spider armor, spider staff, Cool Whip, and these accessories:

Guarding Obsidian Shield
Pygmy Necklace
Arcane Frozen Wings
Intrepid Lightning Boots
Guarding Shield of Cthulhu
Menacing Summoner Emblem
Hard Stinger Necklace

I’m having a lot of trouble trying to figure out where to go to progress, all guides for this stage of the game are outdated, like strategies to beat the dreadnautilus, and farming enchanted swords for the blade staff. Queen Slime seems possibly achievable but I’ve only ever gotten a little into her second phase. I know I could reforge all my accessories to warding, and I am very rich currently, but I’m not sure that would give me the edge I would need, I also saw someone get the pirate staff to fight queen slime with, but the Flying Dutchman is extremely tanky and super strong at this stage of the game for me, so that doesn’t seem possible. Any suggestions?

summoner is like really hard to do on your own

you can use abigail's flower with firecracker whip to fight either queen slime or dreadnautilus (abigail gets a damage buff in hardmode and synergies very well with firecracker)

i would also recommend replacing stinger necklace with star veil and obsidain shield with worm scarf/brain of confusion. reforging everything to warding is definitely a good idea too.

Anyone wanna do a fun terraria challenge (it’s a tiny world — custom map)

I can't speak of cheese for beating him, but I can say it's best to do him after Queen Bee who is proportionally less of an issue.

I typically use hive five while he's spinning, and molten fury + jester arrows when he's not. You can also farm queen bee for plenty of beenades + use both shark tooth necklaces. Make a large arena for you'll need all the space, and get amphibian boots + bundle of balloons for max mobility.

Running circles around him is the best way to avoid his skulls, beenades will autotrack to the skeleton mages he summons, making them more bearable but, again, more space means you can keep the fight away from them.

You won't outspeed him snapping back to you/his hand swings by moving the same way as them, before his hands are broken, the best thing to do is keep away from the skull at all times, and be mindful of when he swings them at you. Try to kill both hands at around the same time to quickly get to his second phase.

In that, skeletal mages aside, he's no more difficult than regular master mode.
Use full warding + molten armor, no less.

Obviously, don't neglect any buff. Scour your jungle for a potential sharpening station pre-hm, use every potion available to you at this stage of progression, heart lanterns, campfires, sunflowers, slice of cake for some more speed, farm eater of souls for burger for max food buff, or bacon from pigronatas from the party girl during parties.

For Pre-HM, he is, in my opinion, the most difficult, but he's still just a vanilla boss, adequate mobility makes all the difference. Magniluminescence is also good because of this, feather fall potions too.

If you haven't done it, go do old one's army, get the war table & ballista launcher rod, get those sentries up and they'll help deal with his skeletal mages along with your summons (vampire frog/imp staff pref)
Every bit helps.

water bolt is post skeletron, you'll almost never see it on the dungeon surface, lucky world gen and spawn manip shenanigans aside. It's also a bit slow as far as projectiles go. Demon scythe is still better in every way.

Well before giving you the simplest 3rd-party solution, let me ask, has one of the crimson's spread to one of the oceans before you started cleansing them?

Else since you have cleared most of your crimson, it's just possible that in one of the areas the crimson was not cleansed from the clentaminator, might have been slightly out of screen and therefore you missed it.

If you really want a method to easily finding out where the rest of the crimson is, there are websites like TerraMap which you can use to look at your world and highlight the evil tiles.

Oh no worries, this is also the right channel. Not quite, the witch doctor is post queen bee. Queen bee can be fought at any point during the game, most just do after skeletron.
