I had an idea for terraria 2. I would like to know your opinion:
Imagine a third world evil never ever seen before in vanilla. Let's call it "moonfest". The moonfest took it's origin from the other parts of Cthulhu that scattered around the worlds while he retreated to the moon. The moonfest invested the whole world completely, and when a player starts a world, the FIRST goal is to purify the world. This changes the gameplay completely. We are used to 2 phases in the game: pre-hardmode and hardmode. But now we will have pre-purification and post purification

Well, players won't have to manually purify the world. In the centre of the world there will be a destroyed palace that will have missing crystals. These crystals can be only obtained from bosses. Once all of them are collected and inserted into the palace , a mage npc will spawn and activate the crystals, thus purifying the world

guys i cant beat the tier 3 old one's army. my sentry is still tier 2 since im short of medals. someone told me to get better items from that fish boss but how am i gonna get items from it when that thing is strong

if you want extra bulk you can try obtaining a paladin’s shield by going to the dungeon and killing a paladin
the paladin can also drop the paladin’s hammer which is one of the strongest boomerangs in the game
if you kill frozen tortoises in the underground ice biome, you can also get a frozen turtle shell which gives you damage reduction when below half hp, and you can combine both the shield and shell into the frozen shield which is op for tanking damage

from my experience:
fight on a really long skybridge, preferably made from asphalt
take out the forehead eye asap, the deathray is extremely dangerous on expert+
it's easier to dodge the deathray if you're close to the forehead eye
while the forehead eye is still alive, keep it on screen so you can see if it opens
potions, campfires, heart lanterns, bast statues, and slices of cake for buffs

Usually when I create a new world and character, I call the character "Planet (....)" with .... being the class I'm playing. The world is "Journey of Planet (....)". In this case, the .... is summoner. My first attempt at summoner was terrible, so I deleted the world and character and moved on to a different summoner world. This time, I had decent progression. But now, I just got new pc stuff and I needed my data to sync. Instead of it syncing my new summoner stuff, it synced the old summoner stuff. I'm so sad rn

or just in general, definitely look into playing with tshock for vanilla servers or tmod for mods to turn gravestones off

I’m not so sure you have to worry. I’m sure you’ll find clorophyte just fine. It’s already in the jungle area regardless of what happened with hallow, and defeating mechs / plantera respectively causes more to spawn.

Diving in and out of the water helps. Sharks tend to only target you underwater. They can naturally wander about but being bait is better.

Hence the gills potions for less effort being underwater.

I usually put the stylist and angler at the ocean to get the pylon I think.

When you get the cloro you should save it with the glowing mushrooms to build the shroomite armor. You’ll need around 1200 mushrooms iirc. It’s not exact but ballpark.

You’ll also need to build a mushroom biome above the surface with a house to get the truffle npc to move in. He will sell an important crafting station.

Placing mud and mushroom seeds above the surface will start growing mushroom trees for you to farm. You’ll need like 300+ minimum mud blocks above the surface. Be sure not to set it too close to base as mushroom enemies will spawn and some have ranged attacks that can mess with npcs.

I prefer building a rope into the sky and setting it up there. If it’s high enough it won’t be a bother and mushrooms fall down into town.

Not much applicable to small worlds due to small skies.

At that point just build it somewhere left or right instead

And don’t let jungle biome grass near the mud either.

Once you go there and the background changes to mushrooms and it gets dark you’ve successfully got the mushroom biome working. It takes time for the grass to settle it so get it started sometime soon.

You should set up lava to get rid of some of her minions

And prioritize the minions cause they do hella damage

Then after the minions are gone attack queen slime and don’t get hit by the balls she shoots out in first and especially 2nd phase,

Also in second phase try to keep a horizontal movement pattern while still staying in the air

(Idk if it’s been patched) but if you summon queen slime and she gets out of her biome she doesn’t get enraged

So you could bring her to your main arena
