I believe if you go to documents/mygames/terraria/tmodloader/mods or something like that. You can then paste them in and tmodloader should read the mods. If it's a actual mod pack it might have a different folder.

I was reading advanced mathamatics and theories in electronical engineering and my entire basement was a mad lab of smoke and electrical equipment. Pylons are sort of a biome hub, if you have 2 happy NPCs in a biome (say 2 NPCs in the Desert will sell the Desert Pylon) you place that pylon in your NPC town and it lets you teleport to a different pylon in another biome

This is exactly right. Obviously certain summons benefit more than others from Ichor, but general rule of thumb is the more tag dmg reliant your summons are, the better Ichor becomes. Blade Staff being the gold standard of benifiting. For things like Tiger and Dragon it may be more useful to favor DoT debuffs.

Especially as you start tackling master/legendary mode, you get in the habit of pulling every benefit you can as the fights start getting long. A persistent DoT for the entireity of a fight can amount to extra dmg in the 10s of thousands. Especially in multiplayer (Which I mention because I primarity play on servers)

The primary conversation was how useful flasks are. When it was mentioned that they are very useful for summoner I was adding to that with examples. Overall the statement I made was overall correct, as the more "Tag dmg" reliant summons tend to benefit the most from Ichor.

Blade staff was used as an example as the primary fights you are wanting to use it for are Skeletron, Plantara, and empress (if pre golem) which all break the initial 25 defense point.

and because of how blade staff functions, Ichor becomes quite a large dmg increase in those situatuons.

Sharktooth was only brought up to add to the argument that ichor is good with blades for the same reason sharktooth is.

Not to say use both, but to say they are both benficial by similar reasoning.

I mean yeah, I'm not denying ichor flasks usefulness. I think it's the only worthwhile flask is 99% of the scenarios in the game. Although stacking armor piercing when you could say use a star veil, OOA accessory, or really any other useful accessory would be more beneficial

Just for general informations sake, Prime has 24-48 defense, Plantara has 36, empress has 50. There also happen to be the 3 main bosses you will want to use Blade staff over Sanguine, and also all benfit fromt he defense reduction.

The primary reason is reducing defense by say, 15 in slow hits for 700-1000 dont mean all that much, when something like venom ticking for 15 every .5 ticks will do a lot more.

This statement was specifically for Just dragon or Just tiger. Which i prefer as I tend to do Harvest > Cracker stacking, and you dont want mixed minions procking the cracker over dragon.

Potentially. I just dont worry too much at mixing seeing as I generally use prisma>Dragon by the time I get dragon. And for the fights where dragon is better than prisma, (as in you can stay in range for cracker) Id rather just have the consistency of having dragon always prock the cracker

And generally the statement for Ichor vs Dot is "Does the minons hit faster than the dot ticks" and "has more than 15 def" if yes, ichor. If no, DOT..

Id guess 3 drag 7 prisma probbaly is still better in practice as staying in range for crackers is quite a bit more dangerous compared to Harvest/Scope.

There is only times for 2 tests per mix, which can also be chocked up to human errorIt seems 3 dragon consistently performs though. Im suprised to see 2 cell do so well. These tests are also somewhat biased as hes running an accesory set youd be caught dead running in practice.

The general set I run. Obviouslty I have the Stardust chest as a swapout on the side along side. Situationally Ninja gear or boots gets drops also depending on mount usage for more dmg. Celestial shell being the most common swap in for boots/ninja gear.

This is the accessory setup I run premoonlord too. Though I swap out the head for Tiki, and boots for spooky, keeping the OOA chest.

Basically this is my per moonlord setup.

I usually just don't use boots anymore, I've found myself doing everything else for better travel. I did a challenge as preboss duke fishron and use sandstorm + panic necklace as my main source of speed

I use boots because building they are nice to have. Accend speed is also nice. I drop the boots entirely for empress/moonlord if I use Empress wings though. Swap in both celestial shell and Frozen sheild for a nice 100 defense.

Asphault is more horizontal speed than youll ever need boots or not. And Empress wings more than compensates for vertical movement. If you use the Ascent charm from empress it also fixes the air mobility issue (for cases you dont use empress wings_

Yeah void bad is the best. Usuallt im running fishing in loadout 2, and mining in 1. Offense usually ends up in slot 3 for easier stacking.
