You lack a lot of survivability, if you're fine with that then use Celestial Shell. If you'd like more survivability then use Star Veil over Mage Emblem

It would run in the thousands of fps but vsync will cause it cap at the refresh rate of your monitor, or, at least it should. You can go in to the Nvidia control panel, then switch to the program settings tab, use the drop down menu to switch to Terraria, and then set vsync to off.

It is the final Melee armor set. If you desire more damage and defense, you can mix Valhalla Knight's Greaves with the other pieces of the Solar Flare armor, at the cost of some regeneration and the Solar Blaze set bonus.

EoL is all about positioning and movement. She does high damage, but dodging her is very consistent once you figure out how to do it. I would recommend cosmic car key, not just for infinite flight but for infinite hovering

I did, but in multiplayer. The most important thing is to have Imp Banners across the bridge you'll be fighting on. Golf Cart is an excellent mobility option that saves you an accessory slot for boots and a dash, and using defensive modifiers and accessories can increase your room for error tremendously.
You can still use Night's Edge with full Warding to good effect.

here's my arena for fighting Golem in Master Mode FTW
I tore down the lihzahrd brick walls and replaced them with white gemspark
this completely nullifies the darkness effects
you do need to beat Golem once for this to be possible
but considering how there's multiple items you'll want from Golem anyway, it's probably a good idea to fight it many times

Start off slow. Go into your world evil and destroy the altars, getting the new ores. Mine each tier, and get the best gear available. Then, try and grind souls to make corruption/crimson/hallowed mimics and grind them to get some good gear. Then, try to fight your first mech boss. Try start with Destroyer, as that is easy, in my opinion. Once you have defeated that, try grind it over and over to get a full set of Hallowed gear, then grind the other bosses.
