Depends. Not with Holy Arrows anymore; use Ichor/Cursed for the Twins specifically. For Destroyer, Unholy. Dart Rifle/Pistol, Onyx Blaster and Uzi are generally better weapons anyways.

even for early hm mobbing and QS, abigail with firecracker takes more advantage of the extra minion slots from spider armor

and saying that obsidian is better than hallow for plantera would be just insane

Star fury is good and consistently safe! Just takes a little longer. Star cannon is the fastest. Then stuff like nights edge for melee, zapinator/water bolt/demon scythe for mage, phoenix blaster with meteorite bullets, hellwing bow for range, then obsidian armor with spinal tap/snap thorn+ fire imps/vampire frog/finches for summoner.
