i was messing around with bananarang and a target dummy when i found out if you shoot the boomerangs right next to the dummy without hitting them after a second or two you can target the dummy directly and the boomerangs will go right through instead of colliding
edit: i suppose you can also aim it so that only the recalled boomerangs hit it it still works
