I could imagine this working - green arrows are players movement, red is the destroyer

(1) you enter the hoik and hit all segments in his body (travelling to the right, coming back towards the left and falling down)

(2) by the time you fall to the lower layer, destroyer will already be pointing down so he’ll be able to retarget you and the process repeats

Obviously use tedit to set this up because It'll be world scale 💀

Idk how far you are so Ima just write everything I'd do:

• spawn, die, get the Abagail -> travel to snow biome, get flinx fur coat + staff -> set up a fishing area for the vampire frog staff -> go to jungle and get the snapthorn + jungle hat and pants but gold/ plat still works while using the flinx coat -> when the zoologist moves in buy the leather whip for extra tag -> kill the eye

Minion mixing: 2 flinx + 1 vamp or 2 flinx, 1 finch is optimal

Accessories: boots, bottle, sharktooth necklace, feral claws and last one you can choose (magiluminescence, band of regen, balloon etc)

Horizontal hoiks let us travel at 2 blocks per tick or 24 blocks per swing so that should work. Would need an insane setup that crosses a large world to pull that off but it'd be worth it if it works out.

armor: Adamantite helmet, Monk's shirt, Squire's grives
accessories: warrior's emblem, moon stone, sharktooth necklace, stinger necklace, cobalt shield (or better) 3 menacing, 2 lucky
buffs: exquisitely stuffed, wrath, rage, tipsy, sharpened and whatever movement speed buffs get us just over 82 mph on asphalt
Legendary Copper Shortsword after buffs: 12 damage, 57% crit chance
87 defense at maximum (not counting dryad's blessing). face tanking destroyer's face will deal 26 damage.
not sure if regen and a few heart statues will quite cut it.

I recommend going down the list of ranged weapons and looking at what's available to you and try to get the strongest thing you can.
Then just start doing bosses starting from the first in the list and working your way down.

since you're starting out, you'll be in pre-hardmode. generally to start with you'll want to craft a basic bow and arrows then try to get a gold or platinum one, or a gun.
