Real, I had this thing where I caught 4 of the same quest fish everytime I needed to fish for one that I didn't already have, so I could give one to the angler and then 3 in storage incase he wanted them again. Really helped me narrow my fishing time down to pretty much just sleeping and grabbing the fish from the chests

I don't think so. It has a very simple attack pattern and can even be fought as a first boss. Harder than Eye, but not by all that much.

I am using potions and accessories, as for armor im working towards Palladium or Mythril, but am using the Palladium Mask and the molten chest plate and greaves. Accessories are Teraspark boots, Titans Glove, Fletchling wings (abt to be Harpy), Cobalt shield, and melee emblem

I'd definitely get at least Mythril/Orichalcum, if not Frost, Adamantite or Titanium armor. You could also upgrade the Titan Glove into the Power Glove or Berserker's Glove, and definitely upgrade your Wings and Cobalt Shield, or get a Star Veil instead.

Spider armor until beating a Mech, at which point Hallowed armor becomes available and is generally your best option. As for summons, Spiders are decent, but have issues with airborne targets unless your arena has background walls. Abigail is surprisingly potent with Firecracker if you have enough summon slots. You can use either to get Sanguine or Blade Staff, which you should use to take on the Twins to gain access to the Optic Staff.
Even if you're planning to stick with Blade or Sanguine, you still have more options now and Optic is well worth considering, especially if you're using Sanguine. It's better than Sanguine for Plantera, even.

It's only really worth using for Destroyer, as the projectiles are very slow, but pierce infinitely. A better post-1 Mech option for Destroyer would be Tome of Infinite Wisdom.
For the other Mechs, Plantera and other uses, stick with Rainbow Rod.

Doesn't really matter too much, you can craft the band of starpower from a panic necklace. Depends if you rather have an easier time getting a clinger staff or life drain in hard mode, you can still get both, just will be easier to get the one that matches your natural evil.
And which evil spell book you would prefer easier to get

I mean, destroyer boss is an exception for me. just build 100 / 150 blocks above ground, I forgot specifics, but the body never reaches me. I just actuate things to close off lasers when I need to heal

I'm still confused what's the best way to regenerate sand lol, I could go ranger armor with sandgun like the old days, but now wiki somewhere points out to me that you can buy Ale from tavernkeeper and decraft mugs into sand or glass when needed
idk if I'm better off money farming, or directly sand-duplicating
