BoC will provide significantly greater offensive and defensive utility most of the time.

Ankh Shield is mostly nice to have here. It provides knockback immunity and 4 defense, yes, but the Poison immunity is not worth mentioning because it's such a weak debuff.

Yes you should use ankh shield on basically everything because of its wide range of debuff immunity and especially for the knockback immunity

It's mostly suited to exploration and some events. Barring Plantera, Queen Bee (which is a pre-Hardmode boss) and Expert+ Duke Fishron (who inflicts Feral Bite, generating debuffs the Ankh Shield protects against), there aren't a lot of bosses where its debuff protection does much.

Hello, I am trying to run a server for myself and a friend.
I have the server up and running.
when trying to connect using localhost and my local ip it works fine. But when I try to use my public IP it gets stuck on connecting
I have port forwarding set up on my router, firewall, virus protection
I have made sure it was allowed in my firewall as well (both TerrariaServer.exe, Steam, and Terraria)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both terraria and terraria server and I am at my wits end.
if there is anything else to check I am not sure what it would be.
Can anyone help?

I have Port Forwarding set up and have established that the port is listening but isn't receiving anything. I am using an ARRIS router that has Port forwading & Port triggers set up for 7777 on TCP & UDP.

fishing in a large enough pond at dawn or dusk or during rain on a full moon with fiberglass fishing pole and buggies as well as a crate and fishing potion should buff your fishing power enough to make the game throw an endless amount of crates at you

theres also other buffs like angler armor sitting on a toilet and angler accessories but the main thing is picking a good time to fish

@frosty rune you could try detaching the CMOS battery from your motherboard carefully and putting it back in your motherboard after 3-5 minutes

Well he was partially right the first few of bosses and events have a chance to happen when you reach certain milestones of progress in the early game. Including how much defense your have, how much health you have, and how many NPCs have moved in

After that you find the bosses in specific places by doing specific things

There are many reasons why you should not be using Daedalus if you’re at the stage with Shroomite

Shroomite is good, it’s set bonus is kind of meh so ideally you mix it with Red Riding Armour

For the helmets you either make all 3 and rotate when you need to, or specialise in one weapon type

What particular type of damage are you going for? Ranged has a few distinct sub-categories of damage, and you sort of have to build for one with shroomite

Should probably look into crits, recon and sniper scope are pretty substantial damage-ups and give you some nice crit.
Destroyer and ranger emblem are also good damage.
Beyond that I guess it's really up to you, I'd say toss tabi or mng on for dashing off mount, you might use anti-kb accessory to handle that, and make sure you have flying mount

Journey Mode and Master Mode go together really well!

After a normal Expert run, just doing Master would be annoying. The only major difference is bigger numbers. But with Journey mode, it’s pretty fresh, honestly. The boss fights are difficult, but Journey mode lets you, with a little work, bypass the tedious parts of progressing from boss to boss.

nah but legit, if you got wings and boots, should be easy, run the normal arena strat, use cuthulu invincibility frames for peak dmg and health saves, you also need to specify a class to get the most accurate help this is just pretty general help

Yes, as it's an upgrade to Spectre. Use Ice as your arena floor as it provides extra acceleration.

no reason to use gi over full shadow armor set, the movement speed is really nice

Shadow is a rather middling debuff, I'd say. Good to have, but not worth switching your weapon for. When it comes to debuffs that are worth running no matter what class you use, I think of Ichor or Betsy's Curse, neither of which are available early on.
